I had one of these as of October 2024. I had to have the dealership buy it back because of one major manufacturing production flaw in these cars, and people need to know about this. During the manufacturing of these cars, the thermostat and water pump housings when they were made from the sand forms didn't get the sand completely cleaned out from the parts. So when they put these parts into these 4 cylinder engines, sand ends up getting into the engines. And as of right now, the only solution that the dealerships have is to replace the radiator, thermostat, water pump, and a few other parts related to the cooling function of the engine and then they also have to flush out the engine as well. But once the sand gets into the engine, it is near impossible for them to get the sand completely out of the engine. Hence, why i made the dealership buy bsck my car. Also, when I had my SL, I had to factory reset the MBUX 4 times due to the system freezing up. So the software in these cars also has some bugs in it that Mercedes still needs to work out. So I'd advise people to stay away of these 2023 SL43's. You're taking a huge risk of getting one of the cars in the batch that has the sand in the engine. It's better to wait and get the 2025 models instead. I was told from the dealership that the newest models part productions on the new SL's don't have this problem since Mercedes fixed the parts production for the 2025 models. As for the 2024 models, again it's still a hit and miss as well because they still use some of the parts from the 2023 models in the 2024 models. 0
Because "non-reflective glass" or privacy screens would prevent the driver or passenger from seeing the screen from a side view. Just like how it is on laptops and TV's.

Smallest engine should’ve been the Turbo inline 6, 53 variant!
totally agree
The 55 will be phased out and replaced by the inline 6 like they do it in the G class ..
i wish the 43 was a NA V8 and the 63 was a TT V8.
That would be sick - the 4 cylinder here is not it chief
If the screen is so reflective why don`t they just use non-reflective glass on it the same as most TVs and Laptops?
