Matcha Latte (Hot Latte) Using Your Home Espresso Machine

In this video we demonstrate how to make a delicious hot matcha latte at home using the steam wand from an espresso machine.
TIP - To make matcha latte art, you need the matcha tea in the bowl to be full body (Some weight) just like an espresso. To make full body matcha, you need at least 3 - 4 grams of matcha powder and just a small amount of water approx 50ml so that the matcha is more like a thin paste.
Use a good quality matcha powder if you want that fresh, vibrant green hue result.

Thank you - this was the only video that worked for me. I had to make the matcha into a paste just as you suggested as all the other videos stated it should just be mixed in more water which made it too liquidy for me. The addition of the maple syrup is perfect too. I just came back from Japan and was craving a matcha latte so bad and now I'm happily enjoying a perfect homemade one thanks to you after 3 days of trial and error. Thank you!

You need to whisk the matcha and create bubbles to get the taste out of your matcha 😊

I use matcha sirup. 3 pumps, in with vanilla soybean milk and steam it up. If ya wanna get bad, add grenadine in cream and you have a strawberry matcha latte. 😁
