I would love to learn that potholder!
I must say, I bawled my eyes out about Callie. It is a couple years since Brat left me for the Rainbow Bridge, and I still miss her terribly. The vet was very kind and put her down while she was in my arms. I'm so blessed that I was the last one she saw. Praying for your comfort during this difficult time.

I’ve had a couple people tell me they would like to learn…. So it will probably happen!

My mom used to make those pot holders. She’d knit a dishcloth or 2 and crochet a matching potholder as a gift set. Or make scrappy ones out of leftover yarn. I can see how that would be a good palette cleanser project. I like Dishie yarn for dishcloths. It keeps its color better than some of the others. Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas!! Dishie does hold the color! That’s why I like it too!!

I love making the potholders, but I make that kind with a "G" hook, so they are dense from the beginning!

Putting pets down is so hard be they cat or dog. One dog our son held while he went to sleep and one of his cats too! We’ve had to do that in the last 4 years and relationships with our personal pets is so enmeshed!

It was so hard!! David held her and I was right at her head petting the top of it. The hardest part was watching the light leave her eyes. 💔💔💔
