I just watched you for the first time. I’m mainly a knitter, but have really gotten into crochet lately. I really enjoyed your podcast. I’ll go check out your first three. I’m in the USA.
Thank you so much for the mention Liberty! I loved the projects you shared - your granny stripe blanket looks amazing. And the patterns you talked about were all so tempted, especially the huge stash busting wrap! Thanks for sharing such great crochet ideas x
Thanks Ali! You’re a podcast legend so I’m thrilled that you’ve taken the time to watch my video and comment 😁 progress has been made on the stash wrap so stay tuned!! X
Lovely podcast Liberty 💕✨ I will go back and watch from the beginning 🧶 I LOVE your half/half granny square blanket! I want to start one 😂 I really can’t as I have wayyy too many blanket wips 🤭💕
Thanks so much Sherrie 💕 I know the feeling - that blanket has taken a bit of a back seat at the minute as it demands a little more concentration which I don’t seem to have at the minute 🫣 it will come out of hibernation at some point I’m sure!! ✨
I just found you this morning, and what a treat! I am grateful for your suggestions, so many beautiful projects to see and make. I love your granny stripe blanket, the colors are so pretty! I am a huge fan of Ali's channels, and a new fan of yours!
Wow, thank you so much for leaving such a lovely comment ❤️ Ali was one of my inspirations for starting my own Podcast so I’m really glad you enjoyed mine 😀
Your granny stripes just makes the heart happy with it's spring colors. I find the scrap projects like the granny wrap get the most use as you are less likely to worry about it being to special to wear around the house or to cuddle under when sick.
Thank you so much ! I agree - I’ve made some blankets that I don’t like to keep out as I’m too precious about them! Especially with having a small child and dogs! Scrappy blankets lend themselves to being well loved and used by everyone ❤️
This was fun and relaxing to watch, while working on a project myself 😊 The flipside bandana cowl looks amazing, I love how innovative the shape of it is! I’m looking forward to see your video showing your yarn. It looks so lovely and colorful!
Great podcast!!! The granny stitch is so under rated isn't it?? Your blanket is beautiful. I want to use some lovely hand dyed skeins this year that I have had a while, so that's another thing for my to do list😀 the way you've done yours with the repeats is nice. The crab stitch makes a lovely border on a blanket, I've done a few baby blankets with it. x
Thanks so much. It definitely is; I think because it is the first stitch many people learn, it gets left behind when learning new stitches. However I have definitely fallen back in love with it recently! Ooooh definitely keen on giving the crab stitch a go! Xx
Your Granny Stripe Blanket is Beautiful Love the Colours. You can weave in your ends from the edge just don’t pull them so the edge pulls in, if you do a SC edge that will cover the edge up as well. Love seeing your Projects. 💐
You may have already done the border on that granny stripe but have you ever seen the envelope border? Sometimes called the double border as well. It’s used a lot in mosaic crochet but basically you slip stitch all the way around and then crochet a border on the back and also on the front then finally attach these together encasing all the ends inside 😊 there’s a couple of videos on how to do it on here. Xx
This was a really nice video. I just found your channel. I have the yarn from Montana crochet and have started that scarf. That fade creates a lot of ends. LOL.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Ooooohh maybe one to avoid till I’ve sewn in all the ends on my granny stripe blanket 😂 would love to hear about your progress ❤️
I just discovered your channel, I love that you show so many crochet projects! I really enjoy watching your color choices, using such lovely yarn in your blankets 😍😍😍
@@bertscraftschats that's me too!! what I meant to say it's that I do love to see them all (english is not my first language - sorry if it sounded like a criticism)... I do feel really inspired 😍😍
Hi I’m a new subscriber and I love your work with the minis, my dream one day is to be able to buy enough minis to make a Tunisian mitered square blanket and a granny square blanket 🎉😆. Great video I look forward to seeing more of your videos.
