I would disagree, considering what cards are good enough to have a play set of and which ones you need to cut and then add cards that just work. It’s harder then it seems, however, if you’re good at it that’s great but for me at least it’s relatively hard to do

Yeah it's funny how often people playing boring copy-paste decks use that emote lol. I had someone playing Nine Lives / Solemnity use it on me the other day. I actually laughed at my screen

Ahh Hypersonic Dragon!! I miss that card. Used to think it was overpowered when I was growing up haha. My favorite cards are Courser of Kruphix and Huntmaster of the Fells, I love ramping and I love making tokens Oh and of course, who can forget Arachnus Spinner?
I'm a huge fan of nivmagus elemental, it's incredibly specific and fun tech. I think my fave meme card overall though is eye of the storm, just makes almost every spell scale way out of hand.
Phil and Saffron Olive are the best CC of MTGgoldfish keep up the great job! I know that the edit on this videos take too much time but I would love to get them on a weekly basis, I guess is also part of the charm of this content that is not all the time :S
lol, I have pretty much exactly the same deck assembled in historic for like 1 year now. that thing is fun as hell. you really need some Pitiless Plunderers there.... they're absolutely bananas with Chatterfang.... the sheer amount of times that little dude just saved me from losing the game because alongside chatterfang it's pretty much just a one sided boardwipe is amazing. lol. This deck nets a surprisingly high win rate om the ladder... mine is pretty close to 60%.
Dude! Loved that bonus game, HATE that cheap Haven/Book combo! (I once played a red direct dmg deck, my opp played this combo, I continued the assault, then blew up his haven! So rewarding!) Anyways, love your videos,, seriously, you're the only one in your group I can stand to listen to. Keep up the awesome work, saving this deck for later, it's not really my style but I might be able to play around with it.

Huh, I was just wondering when the new Brewer's Kitchen video was going to come out last night! Neat, I actually have a Modern deck a lot like this. Lonis, Junk Winder, a bunch of mana dorks, etc. Lots of fun.
It's hard to pick a favorite creature. I like Doran, he was my first Commander. Tymaret, the Murder King is a good time, I played him in the short lived Tiny Leaders as well as Murder Goats and a deck I called Heavy Metal I took a Gameday with. Much like Phil, I'm also a value fan, so Risen Reef is high up there and among the best creatures in my Elemental Tribal commander deck... There are a lot of sweet creatures in Magic.
Yeah it's hard to pin down a single favorite creature tbh. Tracker will always have a special place in my heart since it was my prerelease promo and I instantly fell in love with how it plays 🤩
My favorite creature would have to be Skullbriar, The Walking Grave. It’s been a bit outclassed by other +1/+1 commanders these days, but it’s still an absolute unit with incredible art.
To answer your question it’s probably Phylath, World Sculptor. Was my first commander I made for a deck and I like landfall abilities. I guess Avenger of Zendikar is also my favorite since it functions the same as Phylath but goes wide instead of tall

Well deserved, I always hated that combo since it had a crutch in the idea that people don’t bring land destruction as a courtesy.

A year later, I finally got the WCs to put this together. And it's still super fun.
My favorite creature is probably Academy Manufactor. It's so very powerful do nothing, but it gets to do such goofy things.
