    They way you toss that user manual aside is probably the most relatable thing I've seen lately lol. Fantastic tones and textures as always 👏 Now get some fresh air, you deserve it!

    I had a couple of pedals, but ended up selling and using stuff like Replika, Portal etc in Ableton for my hardware synths.

      Love Replika. I use a lot of plugins too. All about figuring out what workflow works best for you 👍

    This is really nice. Did you add any mastering effects in post cause the sound sounds so homogenic overall?

    • @JamesonNathanJones
      @JamesonNathanJones  ปีที่แล้ว

      Just a limiter to bring up the levels a bit.

    • @marcofontan7416
      @marcofontan7416 ปีที่แล้ว

      woah I was thinking you had some more processing going on there. Such nice tones! Thx for the reply.

  • @JorgeLetria

    I had the the prior version of that reverb (pretty much the same without the screen). Had to sell it. Sounded... just ok. But it clipped hard unless you put it on the loop of the amp. I have other digital pedals, and none of the others was ever as sensitive to input volume as this one was. That was bad enough... but then, when you turn it on, it takes 5-10 seconds to "boot".
    And then it doesn't load the way you left the knobs, instead it loads the first stored preset. That was *so* annoying.
    I really tried hard to love this pedal, but I just couldn't. And I surely won't be buying anything else from Alexander pedals.

    Very cool. You might have done this already, but I would really go for a video where you talk about your set-up. Do you do Hainbach style gear “islands”? Are things set up and stay in one place or do you pull synths out to use as needed? I find myself rearranging all the time and never feeling totally happy with it. Curious if that’s just normal.

    • @JamesonNathanJones
      @JamesonNathanJones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it’s very normal. I used to have everything set up and ready to go, but since I started focusing on TH-cam I’ve gone to just pulling things out as needed. I both like and dislike aspects of both, but I think I prefer it this way just for the sake of focus.

    • @michaelkonomos
      @michaelkonomos ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JamesonNathanJones that’s cool. And I guess the muscle memory after a while takes over and all the plugging and unplugging feels less onerous?

    • @JamesonNathanJones
      @JamesonNathanJones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not really a muscle memory thing, but more a mental barrier I think. It just becomes part of the process after a while and sometimes really helps me make the decisions on what limitations I’ll have before I even turn anything on. It also helps to make sure you have your cables labeled clearly 😅

    • @michaelkonomos
      @michaelkonomos ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JamesonNathanJones busted. Yes, it’s totally a mental block. And it feels silly, because it’s not THAT a much work to plug and unplug things and make mental decisions. But I end up gravitating towards what’s already plugged in.

    • @JamesonNathanJones
      @JamesonNathanJones  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nah nobody’s busted here man. Haha I was the same way with setting up cameras to shoot videos at first. After a few reps it was like “ok that took 30 minutes, so why was I procrastinating?” 😂
