    love Alexander pedals… I dropped an unopened beer on my board and fried two Alexander pedals (la calaverra phaser (favorite pedal of all time) and F-13 flanger)… broke a selector switch on the phaser… sent them to Alexander and they fixed and returned them no charge… I’m a customer for life and will get this… sounds amazing!

    This pedal is so impressive. Amazing sounds and incredible versatility, and in an enclosure that’ll accommodate any rig. My first in-depth encounter with Alexander Pedals has been nothing short of a joy. Hope you dig the Rewind as much as I do 😊🙏

    I love that you can get those lovely deteriorating tape "wows" and "flutters" in several of the settings... almost like there's a Generation Loss built in to this pedal. Incredible. Thanks for demoing this - you've sold me. This would be my one-stop delay pedal, with more than I think I need.

    I have one and am very happy to see it featured here. The pedal is very good and is a great deal for its versatility, customization power and size. At the same time, it is easy and simple to use. Alexander Pedals should get more attention from everyone as they are very creative and bring a fresh approach to more advanced needs. Thanks so much for sharing the settings you've created, they're a good guide to start exploring. Now all that's left is to play as well as you do.

    I can testify, this pedal does every single thing I want a delay to do. even with the delay time turned all the way down you can just use it for never ending tones from chorus to melted tape to bit crusher/fuzz/analogue crunch. if you're looking into lofi pedals but don't want to drop a ton of money on something like a gen loss I think for the price this will get you where you want to go and then some. also the customer service has been great, they're very quick to respond to any questions I had and helped troubleshoot some stuff for me. also easily accessible presets and ramping.... I could go on

    Just magic, Stefan. Magic. You are my go-to demo channel, always have been. Loved the little Organic Oscillations bit and the synth section was WONDERFUL. What a superbly thought out pedal with so much versatility and such a fabulous interface. You have beautifully illustrated what this pedal can do with some sublime articulate and emotion filled playing. Lovely stuff.

    Superb my friend. I love hearing you demo delay pedals, especially when there is a pitch algorithm in the mix. This pedal is massively versatile. I like that it's not just another multi-delay with standard algorithms, but has some really creative menu and resultant sound options. I was already thoroughly impressed by the end of the guitar demo...and then the synth appeared to play an arp through delay! Instant Tangerine Dream and what a way to finish! ❤️

      Man! What a lovely comment. Thank you so much, my friend. This pedal does indeed pack an extraordinary feature punch. And I'm happy you enjoyed the final synth example. I could seriously have sat there for hours just listening to those glorious stereo ping-pong delays. Had to stay very focused to keep that example as short and concise as possible, otherwise I would just float away 😂😊❤

    Your demonstration of this pedal caused me to buy it, brother. My first Alexander purchase was the History Lesson v3, but this takes that to a whole new level. Fantastic device, jam packed with amazing tones, versatility of use, and all in an unassuming package that would fit most any board, effortlessly delivering far above what its price point would suggest. It really comes alive, in stereo! Thanks again, Stefan, for the absolutely first rate demonstration and for what you bring to the music community, as well. All of it is greatly appreciated, beyond words. I just wish you shipped to the United States, so I could give you my pedal business lol. If you ever release a collection of your music, I and many others would gladly buy it, without hesitation. Something to consider.

    • @mattdayne2585
      @mattdayne2585 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can it do everything the History lesson v3 can? Cause I was initially looking at the rewind and then saw the History Lesson v3 and really like all the versatile cool sounds you can get from the v3. It seems like it can do a lot even with some modes from history lesson but wondering if it can cover everything the history lesson v3 can do? And i mean like everything. Cause Rewind already seems insanely packed with versatilely and for its price point is sort of mind blowing.

    Awesome demo, Stefan! The Alexander Rewind has so many great features, and it sounds incredible. And I especially dig the expressive performance possibilities you showed us, like morphing between two sounds.
    I just wish the Rewind had a more intuitive UI for spontaneous access while playing. Maybe in a format like the Strymon NightSky with more knobs and switches, making it possible to use it as an extension of your instrument…
    I do look forward to every next vid you come up with, Stefan. Love your genuine enthusiasm, your musical and tasteful approach, and your meticulous preparation which makes it possible for us to see each pedal at its best!

    Damn, as an owner of an LVX and more, and previous owner of many of what's considered the top shelf delay pedals on the market, this one really seems to be punching above its weight, both in terms of sounds and features. Impressive, and it's pretty much one third the price of the LVX...

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Too me, it's hard to compare this with LVX. It's two different worlds and user experiences to me personally. LVX is all about customization from the ground up, whereas Rewind gives you some really nice tweakable pre-made delay algorithms But there's no doubt that this is an excellent multi-mode delay pedal that punches way above its weight. Happy you like the sounds. This one is definitely hard to beat at that price point.

  • @mattdayne2585
    @mattdayne2585 ปีที่แล้ว

    I got to say this is absolutely insane the amount of delay options and customization for a delay pedal ESPECIALLY for the price. I was thinking about getting an avalanche run, history lesson v3 or some other delays. Really want something with a good reverse delay, as well as something that can do tape delay craziness/lofi or to be able to run two delays separately and have control over each delay like endless sleeper (If only you could still buy endless sleeper :[ ) Man the pedal market is pack full with options these days its insane. I don't remember it being this saturated in 2016-17 which is both good and bad. Good that we have so many options but also makes it hard to make a decision!

    • @thepedalzone
      @thepedalzone  ปีที่แล้ว

      In theory, yes, but if that's the kind of effect you're looking for, then I would personally look for a pedal that's specifically designed to do that and excel at that. This is a delay pedal first and foremost. Hence the pitch-shifting isn't designed to be ultra-tight or natural sounding. It's there to give your trails a synthetic edge.
