Perry sings "We'll Meet Again" on the "Parkinson" chat show in 1977, accompanied by Nick Perito on piano and The Harry Stoneham Five. Michael Parkinson is the host.
Mr. Como was a trained barber just like several men in his family. Most of his life he kept his license up to date, just in case the singing thing didn't pan out, you know.
I miss my father. We never had a good bonding moments and relationship as he was always abroad, working. Wherever he is i hope that God's Mercy be upon him and he is rested in peace. Love you Pa! ✨🙏😘
This song was on the Where Youre Concerned Album given to me by Perrys secretary Vera Hamilton signed by Perry of course and was a very rare album. Miss all of you so much !! Love Jeff & Linda.
He was just as ncie in person as he was when you see him. He was a wonderful friend and wonderul singer and human being. We miss you so Perry, Love Jeff and Linda
Trump is a true patriot. He loves his country and the people he has served and will serve. We need him to restore the joy, the pride, respect and bravery of the american people. America… God shed his grace on thee…. Let us sing with gratitude and humility: America, the beautiful! Let us again regain the joy and humble pride to be an american!
He had such a beautiful tone. This was a famous song during WWII in England if I'm correct. I had a crush on Perry as a young girl. I thought he was so handsome.
He was just lovely, wasn't he? And as you say, that tone is wonderful. You're right too about the song being famous during WWII. It was released in 1939 by Vera Lynn, at the beginning of the conflict & was sung for the troops. 😊
hearing Perry's voice here sounding so good..on low quality Tv and mono...makes me mad to hear how badly RCA recorded his voice on some of his albums..from 1974 to 80's....but too late..finally in 1987 recorded his voice well on Perry Como "Today"
We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day Keep smiling through Just like you always do 'Til the blue skies chase those dark clouds far away And I will just say hello To the folks that you know Tell them you won't be long They'll be happy to know That as I saw you go You were singing this song We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day And I will just say hello To the folks that you know Tell them you won't be long They'll be happy to know That as I saw you go You were singing this song We'll meet again Don't know where Don't know when But I know we'll meet again some sunny day

This song belongs to every military spouse who waves goodbye in every war. The refrain continues for as long as war trumps diplomacy.

👍👍It so great 👍👍
I teared up listening to this, but my thoughts carried me to Vera Lyn singing to the Tommies during WW2.
Nobody sings that song better!!

En Español....un gran interpretación..mis Respetos Amor..
Perry Como's son attended Notre Dame College, got his degree and continued living in the area of the midwest; I believe in South Bend, Indiana.
Maravillosa esta interpretación
We'll meet again
Don't know where
Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
Keep smiling through
Just like you always do
'Til the blue skies chase those dark clouds far away
And I will just say hello
To the folks that you know
Tell them you won't be long
They'll be happy to know
That as I saw you go
You were singing this song
We'll meet again
Don't know where
Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
And I will just say hello
To the folks that you know
Tell them you won't be long
They'll be happy to know
That as I saw you go
You were singing this song
We'll meet again
Don't know where
Don't know when
But I know we'll meet again some sunny day
Three cheers for Alice always and for always 🎉

Very talented. The problem was that he was overshadowed by the likes of Sinatra, Dean, and Tony Bennet.
The odd thing is that he had more gold records and more hit records than all three of them combined.
@@vin.handle Sig. DeSapio grazie tu sei un intenditore della musica di Perry Como

What a voice. It's like he just rolled out of bed and sang it. Such a talent.
