Run full throttle threading the needle through flooded timber, risking equipment and your own safety to reach the spot first... *Guy shows up 15 minutes before legal shooting with his 6 decoys and sets up 75 yards away because it's public land...
One year at Rainey Brake opening day I did exactly that. Raced out and everyone went left but I went straight. I WIN! I tossed out TWO decoys and this light came on. Two guys in a fucking canoe beat me? I was about to start a ruckus and three more guys pop out from behind the big bush. Im like awww fuck. Screwed. Those guys had a crew. Later I looked. They had three cyclones, a dozen mojos. They had water spinners and ducks that shot water out the ass. It was a freak show but they tore up the ducks. Game warden was waiting for them because I wasn't the only one that noticed what they did.
Sets up 75 yards away?? How about 35 down south. There have been some close calls with people coming in at daylight and setting up next to us. I even had one chump threaten my buddy who was a highway patrol.
5 years later, still the craziest video I’ve seen running timber on public land. I’d love to know how many times you ran that during the day to get some of those turns right!
Mad props to the skillful driving and the massive kahunas this man possesses but there’s gotta be a way to cut down on having 40+ boats run full speed through the woods. All we see is the highlight tapes like this when in reality we don’t hear about the horrible accidents that occur all the time doing exactly this.
You’re right, not many people hear about the accidents that happen! But when you’re running a hopped up 25 Tohatsu bc of limitations put in place, coupled with times you can launch and leave, and a lot of people wanting to hunt the same spots on public land, the unfortunate happens. They really need to do something but it doesn’t look like they will.
Cool runnings boys...believe me I get it...all it takes is one small one and your floating your cap and somebody's going into shock and it sux. ..Being a little older than you boys(I imagine)wear float coat's!CRAZY WARM and will save your ass..keep your dog still...and wear goggles(I know I know)...otherwise I like your style!
TGB 81 ik uo both Arkansas and Illinois and stuff in wma and rivers they are limited to a 25 that’s why all those guys use those old tiller handle 25 like Suzuki’s and old Mercury’s they can do a lot of work and get the power of a 60 out of them
Tucker Hires you can’t get the power out of a 60 out of old merc or Suzuki. If anything you get maybe total 40hp max from built Yamaha 3 Cyl Blocks Finger ported, welded crank, raised compression. Old megas/tohatsu fegas run up to 50 hp
Usually hopped up 25 Tohatsu’s bc a lot of places in AR limit the motor size. I hunt a lot in Alabama where’s no limit on motor size, and I see people running 120’s on 18’ War Eagles. I watch, crack a smile, and make my way back to where they can’t get with a Mud Buddy 4500 HD Black Death and 18’ War Eagle. We always wave and ask them how they did on the way out.
Do you have a private lease or access to public land that’s not over hunted and so tightly regulated you don’t have another choice if you want to hunt?

I remember someone telling me electronic ducks are illegal in Arkansas. Thanks for the story man!! Always interested on how other states run stuff.

Man that's awesome. I don't see how you can run like that with your green lights on. Mine blind the piss outta me
Dixie Duck Hunters same here brother
Red is the best. Lowest on color spectrum. We use red lights on offshore tuna/marlin boats when we run out in the ocean in the dark

Why do people race through the woods?

Where is that bot ramp at ? On the Cache
If you don’t know, you don’t want to know. For real, you don’t just show up opening day and not die driving like this.
@Josh Dutton. Where did you the lights from? Thanks
NICE.
Dude that was awesome
we can run anything in felsenthal
Who ever disliked this should dislike there own youtube video even if they dont have one
what is that launch called?
The popular one
Where can you find those lights to go under the motor ?
Wake lights what I searched to find mine
Better to worry about what’s ahead than behind in this scenario.
What part of Arkansas are y’all from? I’m from north east/central Arkansas. Y’all must know those waters really good I can’t wait for next season
Now that's how you duck hunt ther
back when arkansas duck hunting wasn’t shit
Kind of boat is that?
Is that Blue Line
You missed two turns that could have saved you time

Hey i hate to ask but your using jet drive right
doubt it, most of those place have a 25HP restriction. A jet on a 25 would be slow AF
most havoc guys run outboards with a special lower unit and jackplate

I run a 25 2 stroke mercury with stock lower and stainless prop
What size motor you running?
Candace Smith they're limited to a 25 horse. But, they do lots of work to them making them 50+
25hp Suzuki
BrownTown or just black out calon ! 🤫 fake numbers works well on the 50
About the dumbest thing I can think of. I know too many people that has drowned or gotten seriously injured doing that. No duck is worth dying over.
