thanks for the tutorial! Love watching you - down to earth - shows me I don't need to be perfect to do this star. Plan on making some for this Christmas.

Thank you and you're welcome. So glad you enjoyed it, and I'm glad to know you can get past perfect.. because I get it, is often a struggle for myself. Have fun!!!

I made these last year for my family from my dad’s shirts. He passed away 4.5 years ago.

    Hey Wendy,
Hope you're still making your videos for us. This ornament is so gorgeous ! And, yes, I'd love to see the one you did opposite of it. Is there a video on it ? TYSM for sharing your techniques with us - and, for not being afraid to admit when you make a mistake cause we all make them sometime. 😉 Take care, sweet lady, and, hope to see more videos from you as I'm newly subscribed right now. BTW, I'm a crafty lady, too. And, I have so many different crafting interests, myself !!! 😍

Thank you!!! Crafty is so good!! I'm lucky to have inherited that tendency from my Grandma Sandbo!
I'll have to watch the video again to see what other ornament you are mentioning, but here is the playlist of my ornament videos: th-cam.com/play/PLBFRLre5XyoSU0ChcPzxG-CERT82vLwsK.html
Lots more videos on my channel, thanks so much for watching!!

I have seen finger guards you put on your fingers when using glue guns! Much fewer burns ! Also I bought a cordless glue gun that is so much easier to use on proje. Just a couple tips! Hope it’s helpful.

I used parchment paper in place of a Teflon pressing mat and it worked just fine.

Great idea! I can see how that would work. We put parchment paper under our pizza in a 500-degree pizza oven - so I think it can handle the heat of an iron!! 😂
Thanks for sharing and for watching!

If you have a glass coffee plate, you can put your glue gun on it. When the glue gets cold it will peal right off the plate. I find that easier then trying to keep the glue gun upright all the time.

I am not a fan of glue guns either. Love the project.
