He can practice his drop goals in my garden any time he likes !! Lost count of the times he has just made rugby magical. HOWEVER....all players in the team made this possible for him ..... credit to them all ! LOVE my rugby !
The greatest player to ever play the game. Single-handedly won 2003 and dragged a sub par England all the way to the 2007 final after being injured for four years. Sir Jonny drops for World Cup glory!!!
@@Ty-dk6qu I m argentinian with all that it means and the hate of millions of people here in Argentina (to the english people after the war) for me the best fly half that I ever seen is Jonny Wilkinson and one step sown the great and magnificent Dan Carter.
I always think it is pointless saying that this one is greatest or that one is greatest. Point is the top ones are ALL the greatest !! Apart from Jonny's kicking prowess, off BOTH feet, his defensive qualities were really top drawer. I salute ALL of the top players equally, and in ANY Sport. Let's just enjoy the lot of them.
@@joedennehy386 11 points per game on test level. I think Naas was the first professional rugby player in SA. He also went to USA to play as a kicker for one of the American Football teams.
Apart from Carter, he was clearly better than the other three. Far more points and points per game, extreme accuracy. Also scored far more drop goals than anyone ever, Carter included, and kicked them off both feet. And he was a great tactical kicker, you don't win a world cup without a good kicking fly half. Also a great tackler - just the complete player
I’m sorry but Jonny Wilkinson was far better than all of those apart from Dan Carter. I would find it hard to split the two of them. Both absolute GOATS. For pure kicking ability I think it has to be Wilkinson. Best there ever will be at that
It almost laughable to say Johnny Wilkinson is best player ever. The guys is great kicker there is no doubt about that. Dan Carter is best flyhalf ever.A young Dan Carter destroyed the 2005 lions. Dan Carter is two time World Cup winner too. He had the complete game he could run, kick, pass and tackle. Dan Carter is best and daylight is second.
It’s not cowardly it’s risky and is only something done by the best. A drop goal is very, very hard and doing one and getting it over requires alot of skill, precision and focus. A drop goal looks simple to the viewer but it is anything but that.
you must be an Aussie or something because when I watched a match live with Juani Hernandez and he scored a drop goal everyone was in ecstasy including myself.
When you look at the amount of points Wilkinson and Carter scored what makes it all the most impressive is how long each was out with serious injury.

Goes to show how hard it is to do this. Best team in the early 2000s not one 10 has been able to do this consistently
GOAT of rugby
Andre Maube. Not even close to Dan Carter.
@@sirgus8727he was ingured almost all his career he if he wasn’t he whould be the best fly half

The greatest player to ever play the game? Maybe for the English side, but Dan Carter's calling
@@Ty-dk6qu I m argentinian with all that it means and the hate of millions of people here in Argentina (to the english people after the war) for me the best fly half that I ever seen is Jonny Wilkinson and one step sown the great and magnificent Dan Carter.
I mean he didn't single-handedly win the 2003 world cup. Yes he was the best player, but the pack were immense

I was watching Caspersite... And he's always saying ...I would Jonny Wilkinson it out of there... So I googled and came here. ❤

By a Pumas hincha with all that it means as argentinian the best fly half I ever seen in my life is Jonny Wilkinson.
Joni the best❤

Yes
Dan Carter is the GOAT 🙂
I agree but Jonny is a close second

Naas Botha!
How many test points did he get?

Then you realise there was Andy Goode

Greatest really??! He was a great kicker but I wouldn't say greatest. Better than Dan Carter, Stephen Jones, Neil Jenkins, Ronan O' Gara?
Yes

Not the greatest kicker but has undoubtedly the greatest most legendary kick in rugby imo
Certainly the greatest kicker

"The World's Greatest Kicker?! | Jonny Wilkinson"
Not even close.
[ laughs in Dan Carter ]🤣
Before 2020/younger Sexton before he retired makes Wilkinson look like a university player
Dan Carter says no
Really because he said the opposite with his own words.
He is way better than pollard,O'Gara,Eric El Wood , Dan Carter & Felipe Michillack.
Englands greatest kicker, not the worlds greatest kicker. 🤔
definitely the best ever when it comes to kicking
Who is better? Only Carter comes close to Wilkinson
Daniel Carter was better
Nope
He's not better than pollard
Let's watch some rugby ... oh, wait ... yawn.
It's a coward's way of scoring. No one goes to a footie match to see drop goals.

I think we hide Jannie de Beer behind the garage and then call Johnnie the best of his era.
