I enjoyed my visit today. The sea lions are the new highlight attraction tracing the polar bears. Work taking place behind atlantic forest and the manned wolves and lots of construction in the polar bear enclosure. I wonder what that could be
Construction in the polar bear enclosure? That is intriguing! Not sure what that could be. YWP seem very secretive so we probably won't find out until the last minute. Exciting!
It looks like they are building another enclosure opposite near the Maned Wolf, does anyone know what that is going to be? This is only the first phase of five so we have got a lot more to look forward to.
Yeah there's no stopping them lately. No idea what it is going to be but YWP are very 'sudden' with their announcements, we don't tend to get much notice of new additions 😅
@@AdamandCraigDoStuff No.They dont seem to put anything in the local papers either. They just announce it on utube and then sometimes the local papers or media might pick it up. I dont think they want the publicity at the moment as they get busy without it.
On the original planning map, the enclosure there building next to the maned wolves is another aquatic enclosure and penguins have been in the speculation!
We don't really have a favourite but it's definitely one of the best and very underrated. Definitely has the best views of their animals than any park we've been to. It's definitely as good as Chester but they both provide a different experience. Chester is more immersive and themed where as YWP is more natural and open. The Islands at Chester are amazing.

Definitely!
I went last month and the hyenas were really active but the manned wolves were asleep in the bushes. I'm soo excited for my visit tomorrow
Yeah we have varying success with the Hyenas to be honest. They seem to be one of those animals where you just never know. Have fun tomorrow!

Where is the car park and entrance now? I read that was all changed
It's on Hurst Road and leads you straight to the Atlantic Forest and then to himalaya pass. The new entrance is already updated on Google maps 😁
