Another thing is I do a lot of good willing garage sales garbage picking(no im not ashamed lol) andi I find a lot of white things. It if the price is right I buy them and just paint crazy colors and love them maybe but a decal on them the ideas are endless!
Sorry I keep running out of space lol I once saw a sad no so handsome plain white pig at goodwill for about 2 weeks (im a daily shopper) and he was only $3 so I said im taking him home so I cleaned her up and painted her the brightest neon pink I had and painted her a beautiful face with paint as makeup lol lipstick eyelashes etc planted a little plant in her and have had more compliments than anything in my yard keep thrifting! Also I go through paintings and add odd things to them,I bought a big painting of an Amish man plowing his garden and behind him in this big huge piece of sky above I drew a neon green ufo with small rays coming down lol I showed my friend and he bought it for $50 on the spot and I only paid$1 at a garage sale it might look boring on a shelf but imagine what you could do with it
I am so Sad that that store marked all that American Limoges Gardenia dishes separately. I guess if you was needing replacement pieces or to add extra serving pieces. I Love gravy boats. I have cooked over a thousand Family dinners at our home. Every Birthday/ holiday for our family members. So I have tons of serving pieces. My Sissy who passed last July collected 🦉. Elvis and Angels. Taco bell dogs n California Raisins. She never married no kids. I was her caregiver and I had to clear out her apartment at the high-rise within 2wks after she passed. IT Was overwhelming. Because My Sweet Momma (Dementia) was on Hospice Care and I couldn't leave her much. I donated her collections to a charity garage sale. After I took Family in to choose pieces. And I have cried many hours. Wishing I hadn't let my everyone push me into just giving it away. She had wanted me to pack it up and have a yard sale and make myself some $ (for taking care of her)To start my Flea Market booth back up after our Momma passed. We moved her in and had Mom almost 6yrs when she passed. So I gave up 3 booths. And I cared for her every need years before we moved her in. Watching Thrifting videos to see what's popular. I seem to have sold modern as well as vintage. Especially household decor and useful household items. I love buying and selling. And My home is full of items I have bought at auctions, swap meet, garage sales for very little cost. We have been in this home 32yrs . My taste is very eclectic. Thank you for your slower videos showing us the shelves 💐
I do love when you pan the shelves. I can’t really thrift anymore so it’s therapeutic for me to watch resellers film the shelves as they are sourcing. Great finds, Dagney and that vase is stunning! I hope you are keeping it ☺️
I certainly would buy the restaurant ware that you passed up ; in particular the bagpipe plate. Top marked restaurant ware is highly desirable for me as a collector. I was broken hearted that it was left behind. I would make a special trip if I knew where it was .
What a fun trip to Goodwill. I am in love with the vase with the Japanese Lady on it so beautiful. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
Oh wow! I found the smaller pottery bowl to that chip and dip and thought it was just a trinket dish. I guess it could be but that’s so funny, I now know what it really is. Same color and mark on the bottom:)
DAGNEY!!...your Daum Nancy Cameo Art Glass piece is quite the find! WORTH LOTS OF $$!! The scenic pieces are highly desirable. Yours also has the cross of Lorraine plainly visible. NICE FIND!~ 🙂
I have one & it keeps drinks hot my entire workday! Nothing new compares in quality. Country Living featured vintage thermoses yrs ago. I kept the article for dghtr sells after I'm gone. Lol
Scenery is beautiful!! I am with you on the prices that Goodwill charges!!! Items are given to them FREE and yet they charge an arm and a leg. In my opinion they are "thieves"!!!
I looked up those Morpho Brazilian butterflies. They sell for quite a lot. If they were half price that was a pretty good deal. I would not pay full price though. Yikes! Very high priced store. Congrats on the special vase.
Dagney! I love your Sister Bay, Door County, Wisconsin teeshirt that you’re wearing in that very cool camper chair❤️. Love your channel and Door County.💕
Your husband was right. We enjoy seeing what's on the shelves, whether you buy it or not. We love hearing you describe the items and share the prices. I have a different opinion on the high prices. It's become a "thing" for resellers to go to Goodwill and purchase items and resell them at very high prices. I think some Goodwill's feel that maybe they should get in the game, and earn more to help those in need. If it doesn't sell at the higher price, they always have half-off days. I don't feel sorry for resellers, who complain about high prices, especially since I can usually never make myself pay the high prices, plus the very high shipping costs, for most items in reseller"s stores. I know they don't have control over the seemingly never ending rise in pricies of shipping items. But they never seem to have "half-off" days like Goodwill does. This, of course, is just my singular opinion, and it doesn't stop me from realizing the work it takes for resellers to continue to shop and hunt down the next great deal, to add to their store. I do feel bad for those who are lower income and depend on Goodwill to supply them with items they need. Chances are, though, any good, high-quality item, will be gone when they go to shop, because of the many resellers who frequent those stores. I do have to add that you are my favorite "picker" I now watch on TH-cam! Your delightful personality and kindness always shine through. I can feel for Jenny, as my mom used to drag some of us, to material stores, as she made most of our clothing (there were 9 children she sewed clothes for). To this day, (I just turned 60, in July), I do not go in to material/sewing notions stores! Jenny will either grow up to avoid all second-hand stores, or she'll catch the "discount bug" and only shop second hand, or at sales!
@5:40 This Goodwill store is really disorganized. I’d find it frustrating looking around in it. @6:29 The Weider name use to be top notch back in the 70-80’s. @11:00 The little piggy bank was so cute!! I bought 3 at a thrift store up here over 23yrs ago and they were next to nothing. Their faces look like the faces of these little toddles and babies that were painted in the 40-50’s. Every house had a picture of these little ones. @12:27 The wire mannequin goes for a fair bit up here(Vancouver BC). @17:00 The dish set can’t go from anywhere from $500 to a few thousand. @22:18 Your laugh had me going!! Those chairs are so cool!!
I have been looking for a figurine napkin holder for ages to display my great grandmother's hankies. I go to thrift stores and antique stores weekly. Maybe one day I will find one. Even with that being a hobbyist piece I would have scooped it up.
The chip and dip pottery piece in the Newport Goodwill looked like a vintage pineapple doily was used to impress the design. I have my grandmother's crochet books and made a large pineapple round tablecloth for my mother when I was in my 20's. I love to crochet doilies but not a great market for them.
Congrats on your Great finds! 4:01 yellow wicker w/4 inserts would have been a Perfect gft for Jocelyn to use in her sun rm and on her vintage yellow table/chairs set.
Just wanted to say u are so very sweet. Thank you for ur gental and God like way in life . Have got to know u threw lamp lady who I love to watch too. Bless u now and always . It's nice to have calmness . But very interesting learning 🤔
I agree about those prices. As a "store" they get their merchandise for free DANG IT! I understand overhead but still.... Plus ours have now done away with senior discount day! If there was anyone who needed it now it's us!
I really loved everything you got,Dagny. The two vases from the first thrift store were stunning!! The little green vase and the small bowl from France with the trees were so beautiful too!😍🥰
I don’t know if this would work but I’m going to try it. I don’t like to see my reflection as well. I’m going to take a piece of white poster board and cut a hole large enough for my light ring/camera set up. That way you can’t see much in the reflection. I’ll let you know how well it works! Lol
I have NEVER seen a butterbell jar in my life. Only on you tube . That is where I found out about them. I am 33 year antique dealer and go to thrift stores all the time. I wonder why they are not a thing here in California.
I love the contemporary owl. It is such a pretty color. I have noticed here in Indianapolis, the Goodwill prices have really increased and I guess most of the Goodwills have upped their prices.
The Daum piece looks fabulous, what a great find! Even if it's a knock off version its looks good. The signature and quality are the tell but Jaclyn could be a great second opinion there...she's seen a few real and not. Thanks for the shop along, fun as always.😊🇨🇦
The dishes were overpriced but I have to tell you, it would make me angry to want the set but find the cream, sugar and gravy boat missing...I'd be cursing re-sellers. Maybe that's why those pieces were priced higher. I know the money is there for pieces to complete sets but that too was a complete set. 🙄 A vicious circle (sigh) and it would be my luck.😄😊
I can't believe you passed over the blue & white plates at about 18 1/2 minutes. They are made by Currier & Ives..The dinner plates are called The Grist Mill. I grew up with these. They have all kind of different scenes on them. My mother would pick up a new piece every week at Publix. I have my set from my mom tucked away right now bc I'm not doing blue right now..but the dinner plates go anywhere from $10 to $25.. I wish you had looked at one and turned it over. Hopefully you'll notice them next time. Good luck with your hunting! 🥰 Edit.. I guess they didn't look them up either..the cup and saucer was only $1.99..Wow!
That little yellow wire dived tray with the glass ( ?) inserts…I wish you had picked that up for yourself!! It would look so cute on your picnic table at your campsite!! It’s looks like it would be very practical as well!! 🤷🏼♀️💖
I love Wellsboro! Wellsboro diner and The Steak House! All the festivals and arts. Mansfield University, Pine Creek Gorge....The PA Grand Canyon and the quintessential Victorian town, I miss PA!! Thanks for the trip down memory lane! Love your channel ❤
Hi Dagny - regarding your video the other day where you were talking to Jenny about the Trapper keepers...they have made a comeback! I was in Walmart yesterday and they had two entire end caps in the school section devoted to The New Trapper Keeper!
When did the 2nd glassy baby come in? I missed something.. can’t understand the fuss but glad you have them..love your page…and your daughters also! You are sweet, smart and caring.. xoxo
I had to laugh about the use of the word Things!!!! All I kept hearing in my head was duck duck goose lol.......things, things ITEMS run youre it lol I love your videos

Please note: at minute 19:56 I freeze frame the video for a couple of seconds while I continue my story - there's nothing wrong with your screen! 🤗
With little chips in things they can easily be fixed with some clay then shaped and once dryed just painted and you could never notice it
Another thing is I do a lot of good willing garage sales garbage picking(no im not ashamed lol) andi I find a lot of white things. It if the price is right I buy them and just paint crazy colors and love them maybe but a decal on them the ideas are endless!

It’s my fave Goodwill too! I reward myself by stopping there after visiting my doctor nearby.😊
You have a great sense of humour!
You, Jocelyn and The Niche Lady are my favorite TH-cam resellers. Congratulations on the find walking into the store!
I am so Sad that that store marked all that American Limoges Gardenia dishes separately. I guess if you was needing replacement pieces or to add extra serving pieces. I Love gravy boats. Wow wow wow!!! on the Daum glass bowl!!!! Jocelyn could probably give you some great advice on the selling price. Wow!!!
Dagney, you are hilarious! I am so glad you don’t edit out your funny personality in your videos and just go with the natural flow of things.
I do love when you pan the shelves. I can’t really thrift anymore so it’s therapeutic for me to watch resellers film the shelves as they are sourcing. Great finds, Dagney and that vase is stunning! I hope you are keeping it ☺️
What fabulous finds at good will. Lucky girl. Your voice is soothing and your laugh is infectious. Thank you for the show, great fun
"Things, things, everywhere a thing" 🎶
I have been to Nancy, France as a young child. Loved that dish. Beautiful. 💜
I really enjoy your enthusiasm and honest excitement for THINGS that catch your eye! You are a joy to go thrifting with vicariously.
I never saw a paper napkin holder like that. How neat!
I’ve seen these before but they had ladies hankies
Great video! I would never think to get home Decor but I might have to now.
Oh my Dagny , the Daum glass bowl .. Summer Landscape . What a find!!!! Good luck 🤑😍
Will be watching for clear/ green glass bud vase 💛
I certainly would buy the restaurant ware that you passed up ; in particular the bagpipe plate. Top marked restaurant ware is highly desirable for me as a collector. I was broken hearted that it was left behind. I would make a special trip if I knew where it was .
That vase is spectacular! I had to edit to say how much I liked the green vase and the cameo bowl. Very nice.
Thanks so much 😊
I really appreciate the pace of your videos. They are so easy to watch!
Glad you like them!
I have that popcorn bowl we received it in 1983 as a wedding gift.
You’re videos are so delightful. You are so much fun.
What a find beautiful tall multicolored glass vase. Never saw one like this in Jocelyns’ collection .
Congrats on that find.
You’re so funny and sweet! I love your videos when you are just being you!🤣😂❤️❤️❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hello from Sweden! So fun to watch! I think the green vase with bubbles is from Sweden by Bo Bergström for Åseda (Aseda) Glasbruk.
What a fun trip to Goodwill. I am in love with the vase with the Japanese Lady on it so beautiful. Please Stay Safe, Happy And Healthy. Have A Wonderful Day
I love chocolate covered cherries
And when u put this together. Makes me smile ♥️✌️
My favorite was the Nancy, France item. Gorgeous! What fun to shop with you, Danny! Enjoy your getaway.
I believe the smaller glass vase is Aseda from Sweden. Was fun shopping with you!! Great finds!!
Wow what a find.
I love gnomes.
Oh wow! I found the smaller pottery bowl to that chip and dip and thought it was just a trinket dish. I guess it could be but that’s so funny, I now know what it really is. Same color and mark on the bottom:)

i just love your personality im so glad you started you tube dont stop you and your family will do well xx
I love the plaid thermos you passed by!! Congrats on that fabulous vase!!
I have one & it keeps drinks hot my entire workday! Nothing new compares in quality. Country Living featured vintage thermoses yrs ago. I kept the article for dghtr sells after I'm gone. Lol
The prices look very reasonable!!!!!!!
Wowzers Dagny love that vase 🏺 great find lady 🦋🦋
Scenery is beautiful!! I am with you on the prices that Goodwill charges!!! Items are given to them FREE and yet they charge an arm and a leg. In my opinion they are "thieves"!!!
I love just how delicately you handle the products. Thanks for showing the shelves….I wish I could reach through the phone & touch.
Me too.
Those more expensive dishes must have been trimmed in gold, lol. You did find some goodies though. Enjoyed.
TFS 🙂
I looked up those Morpho Brazilian butterflies. They sell for quite a lot. If they were half price that was a pretty good deal. I would not pay full price though. Yikes! Very high priced store. Congrats on the special vase.
I just passed Martins pantry today and then drove through Wellsboro. I love seeing it on your video.
That blue hand painted vase🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Hi Dagny - That iridescent green Japanese vase was exquisite! I also loved the white Japanese vase and the Daum piece. Nice scoresheet,🤗
You never let us down! Another great video. Thanks for sharing.

I've wanted to try pate de verre glass making and admired daum because they have beautiful pieces. What a great find.
Since the napkin holder is open on the skirt, I think a votive inside would be pretty.
Thought the same thing
I really loved her!!
So fun loved your laughing at yourself I do that all the time
I would have gotten the snowman plate!☺️☺️☺️
I agree about those prices. As a "store" they get their merchandise for free DANG IT! I understand overhead but still.... Plus ours have now done away with senior discount day! If there was anyone who needed it now it's us!

I agree on those prices! Even on half price days, they still are making a profit because, like you said, it is a free donation!!!
I really loved everything you got,Dagny. The two vases from the first thrift store were stunning!! The little green vase and the small bowl from France with the trees were so beautiful too!😍🥰
I am so happy for you. Beautiful.

I have the popcorn bowl in black. And the pop corn jar. ,😍
The chocolate covered cherries are my favorite, but they are expensive, so I don't get them often...
Hi Dagny fab find lv Ann uk 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻❤️❤️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
I don’t know if this would work but I’m going to try it. I don’t like to see my reflection as well. I’m going to take a piece of white poster board and cut a hole large enough for my light ring/camera set up. That way you can’t see much in the reflection. I’ll let you know how well it works! Lol
So much fun!! What a difference in pricing! And, I hope you got the camp chair!! 🏕
I have NEVER seen a butterbell jar in my life. Only on you tube . That is where I found out about them. I am 33 year antique dealer and go to thrift stores all the time. I wonder why they are not a thing here in California.
The vase is awesome! Great find. The chair is pretty col. I've not seen any like those.
I love the contemporary owl. It is such a pretty color. I have noticed here in Indianapolis, the Goodwill prices have really increased and I guess most of the Goodwills have upped their prices.
Wow what a find Dagny Daum ! Amazing
Great finds, enjoy watching you so much! Thank you!
I really like the way you explain everything else.

That "End of day swung glass vase" is fabulous.
Have a blessed day 🏵️
Ahhhh! Those vases are fantastic!!
That little yellow wire dived tray with the glass ( ?) inserts…I wish you had picked that up for yourself!! It would look so cute on your picnic table at your campsite!! It’s looks like it would be very practical as well!! 🤷🏼♀️💖
Goodwill is out of bounds with the pricing. Another fun one Dagny!!!! Thanks for sharing ❤️
I have a vase just like it!
Thank you so much- you will really like an upcoming video then...I visit a local store 🙂
You look fabulous in the camper chair!

When did the 2nd glassy baby come in? I missed something.. can’t understand the fuss but glad you have them..love your page…and your daughters also! You are sweet, smart and caring.. xoxo
Both of my Glassybabys were gifts from viewers! 😍
Holy cow...that's amazeballs!!
Dagny, the candle holders @ 13:26 are Holt Howard! Maybe you can swing back by:):) Just an FYI!
The Newport Goodwill's floor is older than most of the items on the shelf! Lol!
Another lovely video!!!!!!!!!
Thank you 🤗
Dabney, great find
I had to laugh about the use of the word Things!!!! All I kept hearing in my head was duck duck goose lol.......things, things ITEMS run youre it lol I love your videos
So many things! Expensive things. Fun things. White things… lol. 💕Amy (fellow camper!)
chips can be fixed with nail polish couple coats
or how deep chip is or how big bake in oven at like
240 or 250 door cracked for over night remove in morning do not do anything to painted Area let completely cool several hours then determine if it needs more polish in any way. if so repeat. works
amazing if you love the peice.
Thank you Leaann for the tips🐷
Wow! That swung vase is such a diva!🤩
