@@eduardovazquez8595 I think no car is slow yk every car can most likely go above 70 mph and that’s enough to survive nowadays you can’t call any car slow but v8s are definitely what you wanna get if you wanna race cars and stuff
That’s a good way of seeing things. Not everyone needs a V8. I have a 2020 eco boost mustang and I love the power delivery it has. Quick enough to have fun but it’s still very practical and good on gas.
I painted mine black inside and out as the same model as the one in the video. It still looks great when compared to the cheap looking light gray interior in these cars.
What really hurts is I did about twice this amount of work to my 2004 mustang just to total it right before it was finished, it made me give up on the car hobby and pursue horror collecting full time. Great video! Brought back some memories.
Now is a GREAT time to get back into the car hobby because cars the right cars are getting cheap again. all of those "Undesirable" cars are now being listed and sold everyday. I just picked up a 73 Buick Regal for $1200 and drove it home, My next door neighbor just bought an 83 Mustang for $800. they are out there, you just gotta look.
I had a 2000 v6 mustang once and I loved it, definitely needed some work and new carpet but I didn't care, I keep saying someday I'll buy another one in laser red and shove a 351w in it
The only reason Mustangs are so popular to build is because the aftermarket is strong because it is was the only performance car FoMoCo in the 80's, yeah the 9th gen T-bird and Cougar were popular, but they were popular to the 35 and older crowd for the most part and yeah there was the Ford Probe but it didn't come out until 1988, it was JUST BARELY an 80's car. Ford but all it's eggs in the Mustang basket and that allowed for a large aftermarket. Where as GM had the 3rd gen Camaro/Firebird, they had the G-Bodies and then Cadillac was doing it's thing with the Northstar Program. I don;t hate Mustangs but I don't think I'll ever redo one simply because that was it as far as FoMoCo of most of my childhood and teenage years.
Never seen someone pressure wash the interior of a vehicle before. Definitely a bold decision and I respect the fact that you had your reasons, maybe it needed it. Always fun to do the ground-up projects, I'm the middle of one myself (96 Cobra). These are fun cars!
I did it to my 2004 v6. Put in a whole bunch of mods and painted it inside and out. Just don’t be crazy with cosmetics cause it’s not supposed to be a fast car and it will look very ricey 😂
I had no idea you can paint your rugs and seats. I wonder how long that fabric paint last. It was good to see a fellow NJ mustang owner. I'm seeing more and more Mustang Videos from NJ. Good job on this build.
I toootally want one of these. I love how they look, they have a decent interior and they are just awesome. I have always loved them, Eventually I want to stick an I6 Barra into one of these bad boys.
That’s sweet rehab man. Got a 98 4.6 more clapped out looking and driving then yours was. Doing the work piece by piece slowly. But starting to see the potential. These things are easy to work and the interchangeable or replacement parts are easy to find.
As small as 2K++ subs seems to be, among those 2K i believe there are subscribers from neighboring country because I am one of them. Love ur work brother. Keep buildin'! Greetings from Malaysia 🇲🇾🇲🇾🇲🇾
I’m moving to PA I want to do this guys , I know it’s not easy but I love it. I love seeking out low mile crashed mustangs and getting their interior exterior parts so you don’t have to dye. For sheet metal the same color car is always best. 4.6 motors out of towns cars are always less beat on and have lower miles. The desert is good for metal the northeast is good for interiors.
You got some interesting routines I’ve seen in most of your videos, I usually see guys strip parts of the car before painting. But you go all out on the car with almost all the parts on. Which is the way I usually restore my cars to, so respect for going that easy route 👍
That thing had obviously been rode hard. Great video. And I'll say one thing, I love a GT Mustang or a Cobra like anyone else, but that generation of Mustang with that 6 cylinder engine was a tough unit. We've had two in the family over the years. With regular maintenance, besides a single coil pack replacement in one of them (still ran, just had an obvious misfire), they fired up every time and would take you anywhere you needed to go. They were pretty spirited engines back in the day for a six cylinder, lol.
Dude this car is literally my dream car and I just started saving to get my first car which will be this mustang. I’m going to be building it wish me well when I do buy it
Mine still looks good after 2 years. I have the same model in the video and painted it black with the same spray can brand. I have tinted windows so that probably helps. Just gotta put more than a couple multiple coats for the seats to get them dark enough. I just took out the back seats though to put in a sound system so I didn’t need to spray them a million times lol.
I own a 03 mustang, but im selling it to get a GT with a manual. I plan to turn it into a drift car. Just this transformation makes me excited to work on my own!
I really enjoyed this video you turn it into a beast. I have a 2001 v6 and I had mine rebuilt I didn't do the work but I saved a bought all my parts then after 2 failed mechanics I found some guys on the Westside of Chicago got girl out here slaying you here me. Thanks again I enjoyed it ❤.
As someone with a now beat down 2004 ford mustang. I love this video. I’ve been hit once or twice, one making me spin out completely by a fish tail hit which I think the hit caused permanent damage that still makes a noise that no mechanic can seem to fix but the restoration on this piece is absolutely beautiful. Where did you buy all the parts and supplies?
I'm still waiting for the perfect time and deal to get an early 2000's Gt and restore it. I had an '02 Gt with a manual transmission that I unfortunately had to sell when we had our son. It was Mineral Gray. That thing was not a good daily driver in Michigan winters but the other months it was fun to drive. I was lucky if I got 2 years out of the tires. As soon as I'm done with home renovation projects, I'm probably going to sell my woodworking tools to make room and have some money to get one. Maybe by that time, I will buy a late 2000's or early 2010's GT. Those were the last good model years. Up until '13 or '14.
Wow! That came out awesome. Where are you guys located and how can I get on your list, lol. You guys do some really good work. I will definitely be supporting you! Cant wait til the next one.

Very awesome build, I have a New Edge too and I need to know where you got those headlights from, I’ve been dying for some with that light strip in them
it's crazy to think it only took him 10 minutes to do this entire restoration
🤣🤣🤣
agreed
The dude even managed to control day and night in 10 minutes as well! I wish I had that kind of level of strength... 😪
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣broo

This is a very high quality video for being a little channel. Keep it up!
i appreciate that! :)
Yeah holy crap
tru that! Really high end editing!
So high editing but very low audio quality and equalization.
Could not hear a word from him because of the very loud background noise.
Just sad.
Never knew you can change the color of the interior with spray cans that's dope!
Its good in the beginning, i sprayed mine 1 year and some change ago and it begins to peel especially the rear, tho the dash has held up great
I painted mine black inside and out as the same model as the one in the video. It still looks great when compared to the cheap looking light gray interior in these cars.
What about the smell bro of the spray paint

Dang man. Sorry to hear that. But thank you! 🙏🏼
It’s all good, I crashed it into a concrete sign going 55mph and somehow walked away with no injuries so I’m grateful.
My car got repoed only needed to paint outside and it would of been fineished.

I am the proud owner of a V6 2003 mustang as my first car! Currently I’m saving up for coilovers. Big plans for that car!
Big plans for my first 02. Same car just different year. 99-04 were the exact same cars with the same V6's.
Where you get em headlights???? I want them I have a 2001 mustang myself. lowered and duel exhaust with headers but stock lights ain't cutting it.
Just look up DRL (Daytime RunningLights) usually find them for around $130 more or less. And yeah, stock lights are garbage.
