    I'm not even a DJ, but I've been wondering how this is done. This overview was perfect. It was thorough, to the point, and illustrative. Subscribed.

    I'm about to buy my first controller. I've never DJ'ed before. This is the most useful video I've seen on DJing. Thanks and kudos to you.

      @@popacap I bought the pioneer DJ DDJ 1000 rekordbox controller. Not too crazy about the software but it’s a nice controller.

    Hey Gustav
    Thank you for the video. It helped me decide for this equipment ! ( XDJ RX2 ) . All works well except I dont manage to play tunes via lap top into the monitor speakers. Any special hint ? I used the USB cable and the screen reads the info from the laptop, and it plays from computer speakers ... any help is appreciated !

    How did you do that awesome outro effect after you showed how to loop? That’s sweet.

      What was the time in the video that I did the effect?

    • @CooperMacdonell7
      @CooperMacdonell7 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @7:50
      I’m almost able to replicate it, but definitely having a little trouble with making it crisp (beat lining up and not choppin the loop off beat)

    Just started using an XDJ RX and not overly enjoying it if I'm being honest. Feels very limited and not much fun to mix on. Very few effects and awkward to use as there's no value on the time knob. If you beat sync a track you can't then alter the BPM of that track after turning off beat sync. Don't like how hot cues are auto play. Only way of beat jumping around the track is manually doing this on the laptop. My Traktor S4 feels far superior in terms of features and usability, but soundcard isn't great and software isn't as stable.
