- How to mix riddim (chop) dubstep like Virtual Riot, Badklaat, Megaladon & more! This is the technique used by most riddim DJ's. I performed it in 1/4 swing. You can do 1/2, 1/8 etc. This is performed just on 2 decks but its possible to do it on 3 or 4 as well! Hope you guys enjoyed the video! Hey man! I dunno if it’s a matter of live editing, but I’m curious as to how most DJ’s are able to do fast transitions right after a main drop into a new song. Like have a buildup seemingly made from scratch right after the main drop is finished. Snails is someone who I can probably attribute the most to this, idk if you have any tips.

@@trentblethen2240 i only have two unfortunatley and wish i had 4 ;( so for my mixes i usually prerecord each track and mix them in for my liking
You can mix a melodic dubstep with riddim if your creative enough.

How do you get the waveforms on your led screen?
AKA Sidelowdzz if you export your music on to a usb through the rekordbox export mode
Make sure the tracks are analyzed thru rekordbox
Look a video on analyzing your music for rekord box

how would you transition into a double drop on a 2 deck from a completely separate track than the ones ur chopping/double dropping
If you play loops well..
Try narrow a beat from 2, 1, 1/2 1/4
Then you can transit anywhere you want

Most songs like exisicion and virtual riot aren’t apart of the real Riddim realm to me
they aren’t at all
That's cause excision is more so dubstep and virtual riot would be brostep
Some of their tracks are Riddim styled though!

@@frankwalline1113 it has nothing to do with emulating an artist it has to do with the fact this isnt riddim. And subtronics uses riddim in his sets but he for the most part doesnt make riddim (I know some of his older stuff is) so I dont know what you're getting at 😂
