Dude, I love fall/winter/spring riding - no sweat! I'm the guy with soft lowers who loves 'em! When temps are consistently under 70F, they go on. When they hit 70F again, they come off. I just make sure I clean the engine guards before installing them :D
I made that mistake yesterday, it was suppose to warm up to 65 but never got there with the wind, so I didn't dress properly for the weather so the ride was not a long one LOL! We ride all winter, of course not when snow is on the ground or salt on the road, but we wait until a good rain comes then back out until the next snow storm.
That is down right scary. I always take it easy when the temp drops. I came home at night from work recently in the cold, 55ish, but wet roads too. You really could feel the reduced traction. 👍
If it makes you feel any better I bought my current helmet in December and never have inserted the pinlock that came with it. But boy am I good at complaining about my visor fogging up!!!
Well, I have the socks already, and I know someone who is willing to part with a heated vest. I'll probably give that a try. See what you get to look forward to when you move back up this way? Lol. Thanks for watching bro!
The first couple of rides when the weather starts changing are tough to dress for! It always takes me a couple of rides to remember to bring layers!😂😂
Yes they are, I bet you’re rides are even more challenging with all the elevation changes. Thanks for watching. 👍
@@MisplacedMotoVlogger yes, when I change elevation, the weather changes as well!!
@@Motoramblings You must be pretty tall. 🤣🤣🤣

It is a great time to ride, for sure. Probably gonna give the lowers a shot. Thanks for watching John.
@@MisplacedMotoVlogger Lemme know how much you love them - For around $100, they add a LOT of cold weather comfort :D
@@RoadReality I will, Phil on discord has a set, I just have to ride up there and get them.
Old Man winter is hitting us all fast and hard this year. Went from 90 degrees to 60’s in about a week here in North Georgia. 😎👍
I could live with 60’s, those 30’s are a bit harder to take. Thanks for watching. 🤙
Great ride along 👍
Thanks for watching!🤙

Thanks for watching!
Nice episode thanks
Thanks for checking it out!
For “cool” weather, layers, and heavy gloves. Cold weather, layers and heated glove liners. My Pin Lock works quite well to eliminate the fogging.
Might have to do the heated gloves or grips this year. Pin Lock will be going in soon. 👍
Almost time to head south huh! 😂
I wish! Gotta talk the wife into that. Thanks for watching.

Yep same with me, all winter except for the snowy salty roads. Thanks for watching.
Soft lowers are the bees knees...Had a set for my Road King. Hell, hard lowers are only 2 bolts. You can remove them for the summer.
Probably going with the soft ones, but now this weekend is supposed to be in the 80's, so maybe I can wait another week or two. Thanks for watching.
I hit some black ice on a bridge a couple of years ago, spun the Goldwing like a top!! Not a safe way to ride….

Yes! I'm not the only one, and yes I still complain about it fogging up too, Lol. Thanks for watching..
Just get some battery operated clothes. I think Milwaukee makes a full line. As long as you don't suffer from zapaphobia.

@@MisplacedMotoVlogger that is what I'm dreading the most!
