There's something special about your videos. I watch a lot of DIY videos from both men and women but I'm not sure if it's the music or editing or both, but I am fully entertained.
for me its that i love that this DIYer keeps all the "real" bits. Working through challenges that werent expected, finding different ways to measure/make templates. DIYTiff is super relatable and have a way with speaking that it feels like im with a buddy making something or fixing something. its chill here
Toni is really good at editing and camera work! Adds so much to the videos that other smaller channels are missing out on. Y'all have a lot of potential, and I hope y'all go far!
I love Toni's contribution to all the videos!! Not only is the editing and camera work clean and fun but even when things are tough and stressful shes just doing whatever she can to lighten the mood always :)
I found it interesting that while this video was about us seeing how you built this deck, it was even more interesting to me to watch the relationship and chemistry between a dad and his daughter through out the build. Maybe there’s a TH-cam idea in the making to take your channel to the next level. Wishing you all the best. 😊
It’s official! I am obsessed! I have trouble getting through 15 minute videos of furniture flips and not only did I watch your three hour long video, but I just watched this one and I could probably watch it again because watching the interaction between you four was the cherry on top. You guys are so impressive because I know what you did was no joke HARD! I don’t know how old your dad is and his friend, but they deserve major credit because my father would’ve never attempted something like that. I just found your channel yesterday and I probably am not even halfway through your videos and I just can’t wait to keep going and to see what you post next 😁Thank you for sharing.
Hi Tiff, I wonder if you have any idea how truly precious this vlog is, the love between you and your dad is so wonderful to see….it really made me miss my dad. Brilliant job, it was an incredible amount of hard work. Thanks for sharing guys.
while watching this amazing deck makeover in full, and the surprises underneath reminded me of a discovery during the remodeling of an old house. this was years ago when I was still a high schooler, but work was being done to an area that was a later edition to an old home and they discovered a decaying collapsed bottom which exposed an area of the house that no longer existed. it wasn't a big space but it had two old trunks, one was smaller and filled with a few books including a diary. the second one was a trunk of clothes a photo of a woman and an old style wedding dress. Long story short The owner recognized the photo of the woman to be her grandmother's mother. The owner was the grandchild of the daughter of the woman in the photo who use to own the house, but then it was inherited to daughter who she gave it to her children when she went to a home and later the children gave it to their child. The daughter who was really old I forget how old they said she was, never knew of the trunk or that old lost edition of the house. the story was the mother who was the lady in the photo died a few months after giving birth to her and she kept a journal that was meant for the daughter. but the father and the family in their odd minds were so grieved that they put the trunks away and over time the room was modified, covered up and forgotten. so this old lady before she past away got to see this journal written by her mother who wrote it to her because apparently she had a feeling she wouldn't survive and basically introduce herself to her daughter told her how much she hoped she would be apart of her life, dreams she had hoped for her etc. the photo was of the mother in the wedding dress that was found in the trunk so the daughter not only got the journal and saw what her mother looked like as a bride. The wedding dress was refurbished cause it was old and was worn by her granddaughter for her wedding and the old woman got to see her grandchild get married in her mother's refurbished wedding dress.
Whew! That was a lot of work! The deck came out so wonderful! I'm so glad you saved your dad so much time and money. Anthony was top notch! Your dad was so grateful and proud. Awesome video!
I'm so glad you ended up leaving some of the brick under the bench exposed! I was rooting for that as you were removing all the old boards! Looks amazing!!
the video was awesome, but wanting to comment about your Dad singing your praises. Beautiful, you could see the emotion in his eyes. Yall got some good love
Tiff you are your dad’s twin and i love yall relationship! Excellent job on the deck everyone! Even the filming and editing was amazing as usual yall make the perfect team!
That was an amazing job and i love your dad and all those wonderful words he said before you left the job .Very touching and kind of almost tear up but i had my pets around and i couldn't look to weak in their eyes for being a pack leader, but i felt it in my soul. remind me when i worked to help my dad remove and replace part for a car he fixed, we were getting along very nicely and was pretty awesome to even learn new things I didn't know about the job he did. God Bless you and all the wonderful hardworking dads who are not told how much we appreciate their patience and their hard dedication to work and hold down the family.
You all did a wonderful job on this deck! Even with the pattern change, from first glance, you can't tell! There at the end, it looks like the deck got stained...it's beautiful!
Awesome teamwork on that deck, you and your dad are also so hilarious too. This will also be a precious memory added between you and your dad that can be cherished for a lifetime. Love it. 🤗❤️😉👍
It does my heart good to see you y’all making the best out of your hard work and saving tons of money in the process. It takes a good work ethic and dedication to doing things right to finish a project you can be proud of. I’m a big DIYer for all the same reasons and have saved a fortune!!! Keep smiling, laughing and working together👍
You can't see it from the plane. That's one of the best lines I have ever heard (hadn't heard it before). Love it =D Got me a little teary eyed in this video. I work with my dad on projects a lot (just did this weekend in fact). Love the outcome, one of the best looking decks I have seen!
I'm sooo glad you guys left some of the brick on the bench part. Toward the end I was thinking how nice it looks so to see them leave it exposed in the final after was awesome!
I just watched all these videos a few days ago or I would watch this whole thing again, great vid and breakdown of how to make this look quick and easy!
TH-cam suggest this video. When I saw how long it was I was hesitant to click on it, but I decided to give it a try, I am glad I did, I couldn’t stop watching it. Kudos to all of you! Yes! The people behind the scenes too! This video had it all ! Keep doing what you doing. You got a new subscriber
Hi Tiff, love your videos and you’ve been a true inspiration to me. I would love if you could make a video of the tools you need for diy projects for beginners. I always see you on using so many different tools and have no idea where to begin lol
I've really enjoyed your channel and I was looking forward to a long video. Oh, by the way-I love your accent! What projects do you have coming up for fall?
What amazing team work! This was truly impressive and, besides, you all give such good vibes of humour, joy and kindness that it made watching the video a real pleasure.Tengo un par de cosas que arreglar el la casa vieja de mis padres en el pueblo,así que si alguna vez venís por España y os aburrís... pago en buena comida!😁😁😁❤
Tiff, you and your Dad, seem really close ❤I’m binge watching the videos 😊, I’m keeping all your videos, I love building, I found a table from 20s& 30s, I’m redoing it it’s made by Harp, very tiny but beautiful 😊
BEST BEST BEST part of this entire video is.... 19:59 mark when dad says now you're this BIIIIIGGGG Youtubah LOL!!! Blessings my friends, Dirty Jersey out!!
Fantastic work guys, it looks stunning, 🎉 I’m going straight and easy, doing it alone. Looking forward to it 😊 xxx challenge’s are sent to try us, it’s the only way to learn
I think with the chevron pattern if you used a piece of wood and cut it to fill the gap between the trim pieces with each of your 45° ends, and cut that board in half at that 45° angle and then flip down along the middle that would create the standard chevron pattern. That way you wouldn’t have to measure each angled piece of the pattern. Just one piece spanning the whole needed distance cut then cut in half and flipped. I hope this makes sense.
$3,000 > $16,000-$40,000 with this type of work anyday. You guys pulled it off its really identical to what was there before . So what color or stain did you guys decide on . Would love to see it painted or stained. Awesome job tiffany
Hi Future Tiff, you all did a great job. I am just loving your channel this far. Keep up the good work. By the way, was that a red MR2 in the garage? I have one as well same color if so😊
Love the look of it. There is a reason you don’t see that pattern in homes to much. Pain in the you know what. Also when you say you have a short day at 10:30am, well half the day is already over. I’m not telling you how to work but you could start earlier. But hey I’m not the Forman and I’d love to start at that time. Anyway love the deck. Would you do it again? 😂
I just found your channel and I really love it. I love how you show the steps and the thought process.I also build with wood in my spare time. Same like you I learn as I go along. I can share some pics of what I build if you’re interested 😊
