It is so difficult to follow the path when one is surrounded by family members whose main aim in life seems to be giving you problems, place obstacles on your path and to trample on you at every opportunity. Thanks to Ajahn Brahm for his all illuminating talks............really helps me to endure all the shit people throw at me.

Thank you for posting these talks! These videos and Tara Brach's podcasts have improved my life and helped me treat those around me better. Such teachings are extremely difficult to absorb from books and in most places in the US (& elsewhere in the West), we can't hear it in person. So it's wonderful that you're offering these videos on TH-cam

Ajahn Brahm I thank you and Buddhistsocietywa for broadcasting your teachings on TH-cam.I am a Theravada Buddhist and live in the middle of nowhere in Virginia USA and am hours from a Buddhist temple so I'm very grateful that I'm still able to learn by watching your teachings and to in that way be a part of a sangha even if it is in a different country.I don't have to miss out thanks to you and the society wa.Keep up the wonderful teachings and cheesy jokes lol.

I got tingles in my hands when I read the subject of this talk and then that he'd received an email on the subject, I emailed the centre maybe 3 weeks ago asking that a request for this topic might be considered, I kept looking at that piece of paper wondering if it had my message or name on it...just wonderful. Whether it was or wasn't I give thanks. As for emailing AB he doesn't have an email address but I just emailed an admin address at his centre. Hope that helps x

Thank you for the advice..............The things one have to hear is 'What kind of Buddhist are you', "what's the use of listening to all those talks/ hymns/ chants when you are not learning from them etc ..when one start hissing back.. Sigh....it is so difficult to take sometimes.

Thank you Ajahn Brahm for your wonderful light yet deep teachings, which are really in tune with daily life 'out in the world'. They always bring a smile to my face. But in this talk, I would have loved it even more if you could have demonstrated how the snake would have applied the sandwich method when 'hissing' to the kids who bullied him :)

They need classes on these topics, as well as mediation, for young children.
