We just had this discussion for our rugs at our upstairs landing! For the rug on the landing, I love it next to the color palette of the wardrobe. Center it on the wardrobe and then find another appropriately sized rug for the top of the stairs before the wardrobes laid in the opposite direction to the first rug. So the rug at the wardrobe is lengthwise and the new rug at the stairs is width wise. It creates a nice transitional space and intentional space in front of the wardrobes for when you stop to use them.
My husband and I moved into our new house yesterday and we are surrounded by boxes. Everything needs renovating/updating and we are struggling to find anything we need! This inspiration could not have come at a better time! 🤣

Just get a sensor night lights. I have battery ones in bedroms, hallway, bathroom etc.. so easy.. no talking, the just turn on when you move get out of bed.

My partner has to get the ironing board out each day which inevitably means it’s left out pretty much all the time and we hadn’t considered a steamer! I am new to your channel & maybe you had previously shared but I was wondering, if your house is Victorian, why you don't use a little wallpaper in your design work? It appears to me you want a more modern look for your Victorian which is very nice but they have so many beautiful wallpaper designs today to choose from that you could continue the design you want but on a very small scale add some pretty wallpaper, for example, in a small powder bathroom, or maybe on the back of bookcase shelves to keep somewhat of the Victorian feel without compromising your modern warm design you seem to be going for. Though, I did see the video @ The Pig for your anniversary (Congratulations) & you did mention you liked the floral wallpaper. Just curious. Enjoying your channel! Thanks!

I love them, but I will admit they get dusty but honestly all our lights do. Our shades aren't pure white though, more of an oatmeal and so they are forgiving!
