I've been slowly updating my home over the last few years as well. It's great to do it slowly as needs change, styles change and you realize what you truly want in your space. But oh my goodness is it frustrating to have your vision for a room so clearly in your head and not be able to just snap your fingers and make it happen. I just tell myself that one day this place is gonna be amazing and we'll have loads of pictures to document the journey.
I remember feeling if I could just finish one room. I felt so scattered and it was such a joy to declare a bathroom was completed! Sounds silly, but it meant a lot to me. Three years later I'm still getting there. That tapestry is absolutely gorgeous! What a treasure to have. Can't wait for Christmas decorating to begin!
So sorry for your loss, Hope your feeling better, I always look forward to your videos you really do some stunning work in your home. Again, I hope your mending emotionally due to your loss and physically due to your cold. Stay safe and warm.
Hi Laura have you got a scammer? I know lots of TH-camrs are having similar problems. Would be wonderful if I've won somthing and I'm sorry to doubt if this is legitimate but we all know you can't be too careful. Regards Lesley B 👍
I would truly love a GRWM video - I know you’ve shown us your hair and makeup before but I always want to see it again because I love your effortless style 😮
Perhaps try the love seat on a slight angle more towards the corner also if you buys aren’t big drinkers move the bar cart to the dining room which gives you that corner for the love seat?
THOSE UGGS ARE SO CUTEEEE and they’re definitely back in fashion. My 18 yr old sister just bought some just like them and she’s super into tiktok fashion like fairycore stuff.
So sorry to hear your news of your Grandma Laura , sending lots of love , hope your cold is on its way out ....love the new configuration of your living room, very cosy xx
Love the floor in that room, it’s so organic and actually Swedish antiques would look fabulous in there. Just saying… The tapestry is incredible. What a treasure.
The tapestry is really beautiful, looks great in the room. I've always loved this room as a living room. Can't wait for your beautiful Christmas decor. ❤
Sorry for your loss. Hope you feel better soon. Great that you have a tapestry that three people in your family have worked on and in lovely colours too.
That tapestry is amazing and stunning and has fantastic colours. It looks perfect behind the big sofa. Green lamp shades would look amazing to tie it all together. Get well soon. The flu season is annoying.. we were all ill.. one after the other for 3 weeks.
So sorry for your loss if I understand the beginning of this video. On a brighter note, the living room is looking so nice and the tapestry is just gorgeous and a nice addition to your home.
Ollie and Laura’s Christmas vlogmas are coming so that’s exciting news for everyone🎄feel better soon Laura, just rest and drink plenty of tea it’s the cure for every ailment😌🍵🫖
a tip for moving heavy objects in a room , no matter how heavy , as long as the floor is flat, packing case cardboard or felt or a thick old towel or old carpet under each corner can be used to push what ever you want to reposition, no scratches , NO lifting , and it even dusts for you as well, long lengths of cardboard is useful for sliding sofas , tables up and down downstairs again no lifting , with most furniture you can lever a corner at time or slide it onto the cardboard, if you enjoy changing over rooms seasonally or for new purpose this tip will be very useful for you
I love you both, you are, amazing...... and yet, "Storage"....' storage'. My lover'lies, if you are not using it ....don't store so much...get rid. (She said whilst hypocritically storing stuff for my babies who all live abroad🙈🥴🤯). 🤣 The tapestry is tremendous!! Well done family!!
Oh wow, the tapestry is beautiful. What a lovely heirloom to own. The room looks much better now 😊 Looking forward to your Christmas decorating video. Get well soon 🌷
My condolence on your loss. Living room is coming along nicely. The console behind the sofa orks great. I think the stunning tapestry should be a focal point and not somewhat hidden above the radiator.Instead place it above the fireplace where your gold mirror currently resides.Push the love seat further back towards the wall and replace the drinks caddy with a closed drinks cabinet.I think the ottoman coffee table is too low and a change of the legs should raise it up. All the best on both your recovery and living room.
Hey Laura. So sorry for your loss and I hope you feel better soon. I love the tapestry and the look of the room at the end of the video. I have always felt that the style of the console is very out of place in that room, even more so now with the rich tapestry above it. Anyway, cannot wait for your Christmas decor in there!
Lovely Laura...really like the console table behind the big sofa with the tapestry on the wall and would push the sofa back against the console, at least for Christmastime for a bit more space. Sorry you lost your Granny, many condolences dear
Sorry to hear about your granny, I lost my granny in April, sending a virtual hug 💕 xx i think the tapestry has William Morris vibes, I think it would look stunning in your other room with the dark blue walls or against another dark cour xx
I just love your videos, I don’t know if it’s intentional but I always get This Is Us vibes with your music, so calming & relaxing. Hope you feel better soon 😊
My sincerest condolences on the loss of your grandmother. A difficult, sad time for certain. A thought on positioning furniture in your livingroom. Have you considered placing the main sofa on the window wall with a sofa table behind it in the bay? It would open up the room, and save it from the radiator.
Sorry to hear about your Granny and your illness. I adore that tapestry! The colour palette is beautiful I would suggest actually putting the small sofa on an angle in front of the bar cart and moving the console back where it was, and the long sofa back against the radiator. The perspective to me is everything feels too pushed forward and squished. Once the tree is in and dominating the space it will feel more claustrophobic. You could have the small sofa slightly overlap the corner of the fire place and move it forward while angled so you can access the bar cart. Or maybe swap the bar cart into the other nook for Christmas for easy access and tuck the other away behind the small sofa if it fits on an angle?
As you were taking apart the dining table all i could think about was whether you built it or bought it bc I love the design of it and if it is something that's a straightforward build I would 100% pay for building instructions :P
Sorry about your Granny.❤ Sorry you felt bad but at end of video, you were sounding better. Room looks really cozy. So glad you called your Mom. I was saying,
Sorry to hear about your grandmother. Really hope u and your family are doing ok. I've said it before in the comments I really love your home and videos. I'm husband put a floor in our attic good few years ago now, we bought the attic floor and there was very little cutting on them and they just clicked together. It's a very tick wood / floor the best thing we did also put a attic ladder in. Saying that I really need to get up and clean it out so much stuff up there 😩.
I love what you have done with the living room, especially using a sentimental tapestry. It seems that your bar cart might look better on the right side of your fireplace. Would it be possible to try switching it with bureau?
Looks lovely way round Laura. Hope the tapestry won’t mind the heat! So sorry to hear about your grandma, do hope you are holding up ok kbgardensnhomes xxx 🤍✨
Loving the changes to your Living Room! Those lampshades will look amazing with that Art Piece! Has anyone ever told you that you look like Kate Middleton? 💓💓💓💓
Love console and tapestry behind sofa, I’d like to see the love seat moved back a little? I agree a darker mirror, if so paint the one you have. Sorry about your Granny, and I do hope your cold gets better soon make you a toddy out of the alcohol, peppermint, and honey.
Love the living room layout now, but I would push the love seat back towards the wall a bit as it looks weird when you come into the room with a big gap behind it, and then you'll also have more room to walk between the 2 sofas 😊 x
I guess I missed something along the way but why is the dining table set up in the living room ? I thought there was a separate dining room . Love that tapestry !!
Like the reshuffle in the living room. Personally I’d also try swapping the dresser and bar trays over on the nook. Bar looks quite cluttered with so many bottles and is currently the first thing you see so imo takes away from the features in the room. Perhaps by moving into the other nook will make it blend in? Just an opinion. Hope you feel better soon.
Laura, try moving the love seat back towards the wall about six inches or so. Looks a bit too crowded where it is and cuts off a bit of the sight line of the fireplace.
My jaw dropped when I saw that tapestry! What a treasure. These are my favorite videos of yours.
Love the tapestry! Great workmanship by all involved. Laura, condolences on the loss of your granny x

That tapestry is beautiful and complements your fireplace so beautifully 😍😍
So sorry to hear about your Grandma. Sending lots of love. ❤️
Sending you a hug, sorry to hear your sad news. I’m glad you’ve shown this room some love as it looks gorgeous when your Christmas tree goes up

I love the peek at the tapestry from the fireplace mirror, so beautiful!
Sorry to hear about your family loss Laura. The room is looking beautifully cosy and hope you’re feeling eater soon x
I love the table behind that couch so much!
💕That tapestry adds so much warmth to your front room💕
Such a beautiful tapestry, and lovely colours that warm and cosy up the space! Brilliant!
The tapestry is amazing! You are never irritating to listen to, sick or not. I'm just happy you have a new video out! Hope you feel better soon.
Oh my gosh love. ❤the tapestry
Laura this room was perfect a few months ago just before you brought the dining table in, I wish you would decorate it like that again.
I am so sorry for your loss! xx

I would truly love a GRWM video - I know you’ve shown us your hair and makeup before but I always want to see it again because I love your effortless style 😮
A wood framed antique mirror would look great over the fireplace. I think it would compliment the tapestry and green lamp shades so well.
So sorry for your loss. Hope your feeling better soon. Love the tapestry.
What a lovely room its becoming again. Can t wait to see how you decorate for Christmas. Hope you feel better soon. X

Love the tapestry and behind the sofa because of the size so it doesn’t dwarf the smaller one.
Sorry to hear about your Granny and your illness. I adore that tapestry! The colour palette is beautiful

Love the unit/consul behind the sofa and adding some richer, warmer colours. What about a little darker wall paint?????
I had this cold. Lasted three weeks!!! Looks so good.
Love the living room layout now, but I would push the love seat back towards the wall a bit as it looks weird when you come into the room with a big gap behind it, and then you'll also have more room to walk between the 2 sofas 😊 x
So sorry for your loss.. btw love everything in this video! Where is that brown knit dress from?
Should the sofa be so close to the heater so that the heat coming out doesn’t burn the fabric or dry out the sofa?
New Balsam Hill swag I’m jealous
I'm loving your second outfit! Where is it from? 😍
I love the tapestry ! If the lamp shades are cloth perhaps you could paint them with cloth paint.
Really enjoyed this video 😊
Have the same Uggs. THE best.
I guess I missed something along the way but why is the dining table set up in the living room ? I thought there was a separate dining room . Love that tapestry !!
Can you reverse the door opening in your living room. Just wondering
Like the reshuffle in the living room. Personally I’d also try swapping the dresser and bar trays over on the nook. I was so excited to see that you updated! 😍 Also excited for the upcoming christmas decorating 🎄😍
I'm so sorry 🙁❤️
Love your dress.
Laura, try moving the love seat back towards the wall about six inches or so. Looks a bit too crowded where it is and cuts off a bit of the sight line of the fireplace.
Fab
Sorry, don't see a link to items mentioned in the video - thanks
very nice room 👍
Hello Laura, your sweater in the thumbnail is beautiful. Where is it from?
Hi Laura, have you thought about panelling your living room. It would be amazing.
London
Move your sofa a few more inches away from the radiator to let more heat into the room .
Edit: spoke too soon!
Your dining room is so cosy with colors and textures. How about doing something along those lines….
HELLO BEATIFUL WOMAN GOOD LUCK PITER ARTIST FROM POLAND ❤️ LOVE AMERICA
My condolence 🙏
very nice room and tapestry. one little thing that bothers me is the door opening that way.
Why not put links to outfits worn in the video🤔🤔
