The main points in video : beating your man in transition, setting screen and coming off screens, offensive rebounds, relocations, teammate engages defender leaving you open, try to be in eyesight of teammate so they can see you, be ready, attack close outs. Qualities of a great shooter: work on every footwork, being able to drift on shot, ball dip is ok, fluid timing, making shots off bad passes, mentality: create your own confidence, enter the flow state, shot selection, detach yourself from results.

Great tutorial as always! Man i really think the mental part is most important i used to wanna play proball overseas so bad and since im p short i dedicated my self to wake up every 4am find open gym with empty baskets and would shoot for 8-12 hours a day 6 days a week and i was a great shooter but wanted to perfect my form i always tweak my form tryna find perfect form and in games i would sometimes get inconsistent when i think too much. Then i had few major injuries gave up playing pro overseas so i also stopped caring about my form and little details. Ironically i shoot better than ever because i stopped caring about forms and misses and i shoot without thinking and dont care about missing shots and think next shot always going in. Key is though be confident dont be selfish have same confidence for teammate as well
@@hugoify4018 4 Years in College was When I Shot the Most; School Gym Opened at 5 Am so Id be there by 5 AM; Shot Until Like 1PM then I Usually Put Classes in the 1PM to like 4-5PM; Then Eat and Lift Until 7-8PM, Then Id dribble on the Sidelines Until 9PM ish and Shoot Extra Couple Hours until Gym Closed at 11. Then Only Sleep for like 3 Hours. It is Def not the Way to go Since there wasnt enough rest/recovery and I Got Injured Really Bad When I Almost walked on to the team training with my college teams assistant coaches and trainers and I eventually couldnt make the team and gave up lol.
I also think Weight lifting is often misunderstood in terms of basketball shooting. Ive heard some say lifting messes up your shot but i strongly disagree. First of all as my lifts went up for both upper/lower body, Not only my range got deeper but it required less exertion to shoot from same distance and indirectly improved accuracy. Secondly, when the defense is pretty good not all shots gonna be on perfect balance and will have non-optimal foot positioning and just having that upper body strength to shoot while being off balance and less power generated from legs will make you couple of extra shots. Lastly, having nice sets of gunz in sleeveless jersey makes you feel good and confident and when you feel good you shoot good.
Very great tutorial, helped me take a few things to consider more and add to my game. It's just that the biggest issue for me is my team mates. Sure, I can get open and make the shot but my team mates does not give me the ball. It's not like I'm not seen, but rather they aren't willing to make the pass. It pisses me off so I added a few isolation moves to produce quality points but it ain't enough to translate our team to be a winning team.
How comes you put Bamberg-Kaunas footage from the '17-'18 season in your 2023 video? Great Video, of course, just curious!

I have played 8 of the 22 games of my season. I am actually in 40%FG, 60% FT and i haven't took a three yet (i play PF). I am more of a defense and pass but i am trying to fix that nd i think this site can help me. I will come back in one or two months.
Thank you! I watched this right before my game, I'm not a score first player so I don't average that many points, I had the most points I've ever had with a three and two floaters. Thank you!
times that I brick literally everything. It's very hard to play when It's the only thing I know. Because I was trained in highschool to be a pure shooter. I'm thinking of investing in prescription goggles (I take of my glasses when playing). Anyway, I hope this video helps.
Very nice video! The 3rd one is very tough, mentality. Some people including myself, when I am hot or have a good start, I keep making shots. But when I am cold or a bad start, feel like it is gonna be an off day. How do I adjust?
shoot to get hot, shoot to stay hot. maybe get to the free throw line, see the ball go thru the hoop. but you're going to have off shooting days. don't stop shooting and find other ways to impact the game
make a video in how to shoot much better from the wrist with and without dribbling, fakes, spins, crossovers, between the legs, forward the legs, behind the back, ankle breakers, break ankles, fadeaways, hooks, jump shots, layups, post, perimeter, in two and three point shots with more footwork, coordination, making decisions, leadership, direction, manage, synchronization, creativity, order, organization and much high IQ, in the game, skills and fundamentals, in the street, training with my team, in exhibition and competition games in the next videos much more after in when I was recommend the last videos before, one agree master bro.
I've heard it depends on what finger is closer to the center of the ball, so the shot goes more straight. But at the end is whatever is most comfortable/better for you.

Mental is huge for me. Also making sure I get shots up on days I’m not playing, just warming up ain’t enough. Makes all the difference.

Pixelated Peja Stojakovic was unstoppable
Facts 🤣🔥
Is there a certain finger I should be usuing to influence the ball? I know some people use the index or middle finger.
Use the index as a training wheel just to get comfortable with the motion, and if you want to change later on you can.
Doesn’t matter. Don’t overthink it.
I've heard it depends on what finger is closer to the center of the ball, so the shot goes more straight. But at the end is whatever is most comfortable/better for you.
index and middle but do whats comfortable for you
