Congratulations, this video is a nominee for the 'Best Fan Production' category of this year's Whotube Awards - an awards ceremony that celebrates Doctor Who and its community on TH-cam. After going through countless fan films and fan audio adventures, it was decided that this production was one of the best that 2019 had to offer, and so this video has been put forward as one of 10 nominees that people can vote for. All that viewers have to do is comment on the video the name of their favourite fan production, with the deadline for voting being the 26th January 2020. The link announcing your nomination is here if you wish to encourage your fans to consider voting for you: th-cam.com/video/kTdreVnHoEg/w-d-xo.html. Good luck and thanks for keeping the Doctor Who community going throughout its year off our screens!
I actually prefer these "low budget" extermination effects where the victim just turns blue-inverted negative rather than incorporating the exposed bones of "Nu Who". It looks... I dunno. More classic, and in my opinion it's more effective, and somehow it also looks nastier. I also really preferred this compared to what the BBC have put out post-Capaldi (yes yes yes I'm one of _those,_ I'm afraid), but I'm not saying it wouldn't stand up to any other era of _Who;_ this is real quality work you've produced here!
An excellent drama! Congratulations to all involved in the production. Nicely paced throughout. The battle scenes are certainly among the best I've ever seen in a fan film. The dynamic between the Doctor and the Master was wonderfully brought to life by great acting from Callum and Joseph. I liked the retrospective but since it was 12 minutes long it constituted a significant portion of the episode, so I wonder if there was a way for you to have made it more distinctive as a 'nested narrative'? Perhaps some sort of special effect to make the entire sequence seem like a dream? Anyway, that's a very minor point. It was nice to see the Lonely Doctor - I hope we get to see more of him in due course.
The sound design was amazing, the writing was on point, and the scene where Lady president and the Doctor have their confrontation is the best scene out of any fan film I’ve ever witnessed! That scene is on par with the canon Doctor Who. However, nothing is perfect. The beginning with Castellinos (I think is how you spell it) was too complicated and made me lose interest quickly (as they were jumping around the different times they talked and the Doctor tests him with doubles somehow), yet my interest was quickly gained during the forest fight and beyond. Another downfall I feel is that too many of the old who characters which had prominent spots in the trailers really didn’t have much use / effect on the story. I.E. The Dalek and Mondasian Cybermen were only in one scene. Around 80% of those scenes were used in the trailer. With its flaws come many positives. Basically, this was a stellar piece of work with many ties to new who, old who, and the audio dramas which was a nice touch. Spectacular acting from the Doctor and Icarus. The rest of the cast also held their roles well. Everyone on screen and off did a spectacular job with this production. Can’t wait to see what comes next!
Thanks Alex for your kind words! We try to make our films as enjoyable as possible for fans and we always appreciate your constructive feedback as well!

Bloody incredible!! I can definitely see myself re-watching watching this like all DDK episodes! Callum I'd say is 1 of my favourite fanfilm doctors!
This could go where I've had an idea myself. Could tie in with recent canon episodes, too. If they dare.
