I apologize for my absence from my channel as of late. In July I became severely ill from black mold toxicity which ended up with us having to abandon our apartment and lose everything in the process down to the clothes on our back. I'm now settled in a new place but the neurological effects are still effecting me so going forward it will be a challenge to be as productive as I have been on this channel. The hope is that with time those effects will wear off but there is no time table and some don't recover. With that said if you'd like to help support not only the channel but my life consider using the links in the description to make your purchase. This is my sole income now and every dollar counts. Thank you.
i just bought this, im setting up right now, i hope it was worth it lol. The quality looks great. im impressed so far just with first appearances and all
@@MasterahsokaI have the laptop and it’s really good, I’ve had no issues with the performance of it though I’d recommend undervolting it as you get better performance and the temps average around 60-70 for me whilst gaming :) I also have a llano laptop cooler that I haven’t tested out yet but I’m certain that it could reach 50-60 whilst gaming with it, lemme know if you’d like me to do some tests or show how I undervolt it.
@@inventressx hello could you explain exactly how you underwolt it? the fans are so loud like someone say? I would like to buy it but the look of it with all those lights and even the red string dont attract me. anyway I am looking for a gaming laptop...but silent
Mic quality is quite decent to be honest. The webcam, however, make you look like you have a low quality green screen back ground. But the main focus is the gaming ability which this laptop is superb. I just ordered it today, and hopefully it won't be a disappointment.
Good review. I've been eyeballing this laptop for a minute now. I play VR in the living room and work in my office, so it needs to be portable. The price tag though...woah.
Did you ever encounter battery drain while playing with the laptop plugged in? Recently got this laptop and have experienced this both times I've played games for extended period of time.
@@taartgaming5851 I am very happy. It has run everything I’ve tried so far flawlessly. It’s pretty quiet too all things considered. I recommend it if the price does’t scare you away.
It’s very well built and performs top notch. The cooling system works really well. I got it on sale for 3500$. It is expensive but to have such a powerful machine that I can take any where I go is amazing.
lol I started school and this is the laptop they gave us lol My MSI app on my laptop keeps saying it isn’t connected to the internet when I know it is and checked does anyone know a solution
Love MSI, great quality, beautiful screen most of all MSI Center is awesome! Gaming with game mode on make 30 Celsius difference which none other can't do!
I'd imagine people who don't want to build a desktop PC or just don't have a lot of space. I used to have an Alienware laptop that was bulkier than this back in the day and while I never really took it anywhere that was part of my reasoning, to know I "could" if I wanted to
Can't get a desktop pulling 300 watts for that level of performance, maybe 700 watt desktop{no thank you, electricity bill ain't getting cheap}. Plus you need a monitor{500usd}
The target customer is those that work on the go and we do not want to load up a desktop and monitor. Most of the time these laptops are plugged in and portability is a non factor. I can confirm though that even the Titan 18 is quite portable and has a decent battery life if you're just working excel projects and web browsing.
Beautiful laptop ruined by bonehead Steel Series software. I am an old hand at working through issues and setting up new gaming rigs and I could not find a solution to either turn off the irritating "light bar" or set up my keyboard background lights on a brand new GE78 laptop, even after checking out all the online answers to my issues with this laptop. I can barely see the keys well enough to game in the dark!! If you can go with being restricted to what Steel Series and msi conforms you to then knock yourself out. I for one will never touch an msi computer again after this latest episode and two blown SSD"s on the last 2 laptops that I purchased from msi vendors. My msi Pulse GL76 who's SSD failed twice even after I sent it back should have warned me. Msi is not what they used to be anymore. This one is RMA. Over $3000,00 down the drain for this trash unless I (will) get refunded.

Looking for a new msi after my last one crashed and I’m thinking about getting this one (FL Studio Producer) anybody having any problems with this laptop or would it be a good purchase ?
Honestly man for music if you're going to be recording I'd be looking at something quieter like a Macbook if possible. Most gaming laptops are loud but if all you're doing is beatmaking you should be ok
@ no recording with the laptop only beat making and some mixing in the monitors so really just looking for a power machine that’s gonna support all of the cat plugins and mixing plugins
@@KushmannBeats Gotcha, I also reviewed the ROG Zephyrus and if it was me I'd go that route but either will be fine as they both have plenty of internal power. Whatever you choose I'd appreciate you using my links!

I just bought one also it was used for a week long project new condition for only 2,200! Very satisfied this machine doesn't even break a sweat.

Is it really the fan sound so high?!
Did you ever encounter battery drain while playing with the laptop plugged in? Recently got this laptop and have experienced this both times I've played games for extended period of time.
I did not
This or the MacBook Pro on M3 Max?
I'd go Macbook Pro unless you specifically want a gaming laptop
That Laptop is about to lift off 😅 . Nice laptop and review
Hehe! The DB sound of the fans rising up from time to time, makes me feel like a train coming from a far about to roll me over .. 🤣 😂.
I just bought this. I hope I like it
and? is it a good laptop

Wonder if it can outperform most desktops?
Thanks for video!
Had nothing but problems with mine, it’s been an absolute nightmare
Sorry to hear that, what have you been experiencing? Have you tried support?
Like what?
give me you have the 14v or the 13v and if so what's your issue?
I feel you brother. Tell people about it, I ain't got no shame about that one after the money and the hassle to get refunded!
his video is smudgy. not clear, would have liked to see the keyboard set up visually
What the max brightness ? NITS ?
bis jetzt kann ich nur einen Mangel feststellen von Acer bin ich eine Klappe gewohnt öffnen RAM und SSD tauschen nach Lust und Laune

But it's better asus rog strix g16, right?
Try encoding 4K 60 FPs 4mbps while playing videogames like HALO Infinite
Naw Jocab. The camera just likes your setup bro. Camera says "Wow, look at the room man. Just look at THAT" Lmao! ! X'D
dont expect any base?: wtf
Bass you mean?! Totally agree with you it's quite good
why such long name
Laptop is horrible the keyboard is only bright when I boot but when I reach desktop it dims
Fans r way too loud and the svreen isnt oled no thanks
Does the screen only open to 90°? If it does, it would make it awful hard to see if it’s actually sitting on your lap.
why is your blender samples too low? I have a crap PC and still better than that! have you actually turned on the GPU??
