Recently decided to let nike go after I wanted to replace my hypervenom 2’s and wasn’t impressed with the mercurial superfly 8 and phantom gt2. In my oppinion nike has shot itself in the foot by scrapping the hypervemom’s (still the best nike boot model imo), and after issues/injuries I encountered with the mercurial and phantom I started looking for alternatives. I was hesitant between the X speedflow and the Ultra 1.3 and eventually bought the Ultra 1.3, and WOW Nike could learn something from Puma on this one. They look amazing, feel like you don’t even have anything on your feet and are really aggresive which makes them great for an attacker like me. It’s sad thinking I have always had Nike products on everything associated with football and was a loyal Nike customer for years, but times change and now there’s a new king🔥. Proud to see I made a good choice by seeing someone with so much knowledge on the subject give them this much praise aswell💪🏻.
@@realmadrid-cx8yd I have sort of wide feet and managed to stretch them out by just walking around the house (when I first put them on I was stepping on the material by my pinky toe), after 1-2 hours they fit beautifully (these are the easiest to brake in boots I have ever had, mercurial’s took me like 6-8 hours). They are a bit tight around the midfoot as you can see by the pictures, but you can stretch them out and it wasn’t nearly as uncomfortable as breaking in a mercurial. If you have really wide feet I think the new future’s are better for you and a saver choice because it has an amazing adaptability to your foot. I don’t really know how wide my feet are compared to what football boot reviewers consider to be “wide feet” but after breaking in I managed to fit in the puma ultra 1.3, mercurial superfly 8 and hypervenom 2. You could always try them out and return them if they don’t fit you, but never go out playing the first time you’re wearing a new pair. Just put them on at home and do what you normally do, even sitting on the couch gives the boots time to take the shape of your foot. Keep doing that until you feel comfortable in them and then you can go out playing. You will safe yourself from a lot of discomfort such as blisters or bruises around your feet if you indeed have wider feet and haven’t stretched them out enough. Hope I informed you enough with my experience🤗
Josh, the conical studs on the mizunos are for the sake of being able to use the boots in a wide range of fields. You may notice mizuno do not label their products hg/ag, fg and etc
Also, the reason behind the abundance of the studs is because they fit the typical Japanese foot. I hope Mizuno can someday recognize how it really isnt just Japanese people buying the boots now and widen their perspective on the traditional boots they are producing
Pedri playing godly in those Copa Sense, while here i scratched and blistered my heels after couple tries. No wonder he's a pro and i'm just below average joe.
I own both the predator freak.1 low and the mercurial superfly 8 and honestly prefer the superfly. The lockdown you get is unmatched and the grip on the predator can end up being excessive at times. If you want a lot of grip, then the predators are for you.
I own mizuno morelia 3 beta made in japan. And that is the best football boot ever made in history. I plan to buy like 10 pairs more for the stock for next 10 years 🤣 the boot is just so so good
My exact issue with this boot, 4 months of extremely heavy use and the boots quite literally fell apart. Just couldn't hold up to the abuse of match play.
Should do a comparison list of every top boot including Diadora, Lotto, Asics, pantofola d'oro. It's easy to do a list with the regular brands but add in the other so we can get a full range experience and knowledge. Adidas, Asics, Didadora, Lotto, Mizuno, New Balance, Nike, Pantofola d'Oro, Umbro, Wiz Wedge. Not a tier list but just a comparison across the board.
nice ranking, but i don't understand that the Freak + drops a whole two tiers because of a lack of laces, especially considering its good lockdown and unique ball grip ... i have them and love them
I have the Elite version, not the MIJ ones. They are already super comfy and I haven’t even broken them in. First Mizuno’s I’ve ever bought and so far I love them.
Personally for me, I do not know why but the freak.1 just aren’t as good as the lace less on my feet. The second I put on the freak+ I loved them. And even though they are b tier, they are s tier in my heart
Nice list, but I disagree about the Vapor. It’s still the best performing speed boot. I like the 1.3, but you can tell the difference in quality on feet
Really like these ranking videos. Primarily watch because I love the Mizunos and for the Copa Mundial rating..... Always the same rating, always slightly different words, always funny 🤣 Bob 🇬🇧
I wanna buy football cleats, but i have no experience so can someone please recommend me something and say why? Or what should i avoid for what reasons etc I'd really appreciate it so thanks in advance.
How much different is the new tekela’s laceless system compared to the previous gen because in your review of them you said the lockdown was 10 years behind adi.
Great video 🔥🔥 hey josh what about the Morelia wave remake? Where will u rank it? Is it worth the price? I still decide whether I go for Morelia II or wave remake
I've worn numerous boots and love every pair of boot but aspect comes down to what you prefer... comfort or performance, speed so on. I've worn my mercurial vapor 13 elites and couldn't ask for anything better from a boot but high price range... top end ag boots are like mercurial vapor 13/14 elite or speedflow... adidas freaks if you want control and spikes! Or even something like the gt, there's a lot of options finding a boot that best suits you is a better option to finding a boot that others say are best... they can guide you and suggest bottom to top end boots but and the end of the day comes down to you and you alone on what boots best suit you
So what would people say the best football boot of 2021 is? I mean there's for sure different aspects like comfort or performance so on. What boot are the best in everything or best in performance? I wear the mercurial vapor elite 13s at the moment and they have treated me greatly for ages and haven't seen any reason so progress to vapor 14s I've worn boots like the freaks or speedflows and cause I'm a fast player I can move with extreme speed and acceleration even in terrible boots... of course ones that have comfort cause without comfort I'd be walking like a penguin 🐧
If your dead set on not saving up for an elite boot then the mizuno morelia neo 3 pro models are actually pretty nice relative to the $300+ elite models. If you live in California, your not getting them in state though.
Where would you rank the Under Armour Magentico Pro boots? I've never used UA for football boots but I can get them for like 60% off right now so I'm considering giving them a try.
I'd put them on the same level. Obviously they're the same style of boot, but they do offer different feel and fit characteristics, so it depends on what you're looking for.
Okay, I have been thinking about some boots for casual playing with my friends on artificial grass. We only shoot on the goal and play 2v2 or 3v3. I have narrow/very narrow feet and do not want the expensive shoes (10-50-70 dollars) any suggestions?
Hi Josh. I'm looking for new cleats, and I'm having trouble choosing between the Puma Future 5.1, and the Puma Future Z 1.2. Which one would you recommend.?
but seriously are we not gonna talk about how freaking uncomfortable the mundials are they are the flattest boot I’ve ever worn and I wore them for about 2 months until I decided they would never get better and used my old boots
I wouldn't necessarily say that there's an issue, but if you had problems with the original, they changed nothing about the fit or construction of the heel with the GT2.
I'm wondering whether it would be a good idea to use the Adidas X Speedflow .1 AG variation on both FG and AG. I've done that with Nike's AG-PRO boots in the past and it has worked well. Thoughts?
@@Soccerreviewsforyou hello, if I get the fg x speed flow.1 will it put me at risk of a knee injury if I play with them on turf, or is that only for the vapor and super fly.

Do you think the lack of leather on most boots today are a way of bypassing California's kangaroo leather restrictions?
