I scuba dive, and I don't think people realize how far down 80 feet is freediving. This is insane to me tbh the lung capacity is wild.

Every 30 feet or 10.06 meters down you go on the ocean the pressure increases by 1 x normal atmospheric pressure. So at 80 feet he’s almost 3 times the atmospheric pressure of above water meaning his lungs are decreasing by 3 times the normal size!

Dude I’m so impressed with what you put out, like I go fishing occasionally (like once or twice a year) but honestly seeing the underwater scenery and being able to actually spear one looks amazing, I hunt a lot, hogs, turkey, deer, and this feels closer to hunting than fishing, I’d love to get into it I just don’t really have a starting point 😅

Not sure who told you that but it's not true at all. Fishing regs are set state by state There are bag limits and seasonal limits depending on species. Some species are flat out prohibited to catch. Look up your state's recreational fishing guide to find out the rules.

propably best way to make goliath groupers avoid people is to go and smack them until they are afraid
Looking at videos on large aquariums talking about Goliath Groupers, a lot of staffs ended up adoring them due to their puppy like nature.
Definitely don't need a weight belt when you've got balls of steel like these guys. Impressive... Crazy... but impressive.
