Hemsworth's prosthetic nose should get its own co-starring credit.
Its the best visual effect in the movie.
Dude was a beast in the film. His character should get it's own origin movie.
Dementus was amazing. And don't forget to PRAISE THE HOLY V8!
Dang it I wanna see this movie right now
Dementus was a very weak Mad Max villain. On par with Auntie Entity.
I'm starting to think Chris might make a better villain than a hero.
@@tordb wrong opinion is also an opinion I guess
The only thing that actually calmed him... did you notice that?
For George Miller pushing 80 years old as a director, He did a fantastic job with this film
🔥🤘🏻💀🤘🏻🔥
Yeah, its sad that he spent most of his career as a comic book writer. He didnt make his director debut until 300. Even though Zack Snyder is credited for being the director, George Miller was a co-director. George Miller was 61 when he directed for the first time in his life with the film 300 which was a epic that he himself wrote smh. He is a natural talent.
@@anthonygordon9483 huh what comic books he write? his bio dont say nothing about comic book.
George Miller is an Australian film director, screenwriter, producer, and former medical doctor. He is best known for his Mad Max franchise, with Mad Max 2: O Guerreiro da Estrada (1981) and Mad Max: Estrada da Fúria (2015) being hailed as amongst the greatest action films of all time. Aside from the Mad Max films, Miller has been involved in a wide range of projects. These include the Academy Award-winning Um Porquinho Chamado Babe (1995) and Happy Feet (2006) film series.
Miller is co-founder of the production houses Kennedy Miller Mitchell, formerly known as Kennedy Miller, and Dr. D Studios. His younger brother Bill Miller and Doug Mitchell have been producers on almost all the films in Miller's later career, since the death of his original producing partner Byron Kennedy.
In 2006, Miller won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature for Happy Feet (2006). He has been nominated for five other Academy Awards: Best Original Screenplay in 1992 for Acto de Amor (1992), Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay in 1995 for Um Porquinho Chamado Babe (1995), and Best Picture and Best Director for Mad Max: Estrada da Fúria (2015).
@@anthonygordon9483 bro you confusing Frank Miller with George Miller.
George Miller did Furiosa, Frank Miller did 300, Daredevil, Elektra, Sin City and wrote comic books Batman and Daredevil

The green place doesn’t exist anymore guys. The reveal is literally the lead in to the final act of Fury Road. Sounds like it’s time for a rewatch.

Eh...
@@thematiasmadness7010 they do.
Hemsworth haming it up in a good way was fun to watch. Dude seemed to have a good time playing a villain
🤔 If Max from Fury Road is not really Max Rockatansky but the "feral kid" that Max found in Mad Max 2 "The Road Warrior" and he only introduces himself as Max in Fury Road because he doesn't know his real name and Max is the first name that it came to him when Furiosa asked him his name... This opens up the possibility of a scenario where Mel Gipson could return as an older version of Max... Imagine a Mad Max movie with Mel Gipson as "Mad Max", Tom Hardy as "feral kid" and Charlize Theron as "Furiosa"... 🤯
No.
Just....no.
@@tommc3622 lets throw Gozilla and kong into this mix and see what we get
George Miller already said that Fury Road mad max is not feral kid in an interview. But i agree, i hope G.M changes it to be Feral kid, cuz it would be awesome to get mel gibson back 1 more time.
@@2d_AnimationScoob
Did Tom Hardy limp in Fury Road? I watched it about 5 times when it came out, but it's been almost 9 years, I don't remember...
I didn't know that George Miller said that, but he also said that there was no script for Mel Gipson to reprise the role of Max because there wasn't an "old" Max story to tell, but he said in a recent interview for Furiosa that it would be interesting to see Gipson as Max again...
Unfortunately, he also said that the next Mad Max film is directly tied to the success or debacle of Furiosa at the box office, so as things stand, Furiosa could be the last Mad Max film, at least as far as George Miller directing it. Miller is 80 years old, he dasn't have another decade to wait between Furiosa and a new Mad Max movie.
@@andyw8558 he had a knee brace on his left leg, but never really limped. (That I noticed) might of just been a forgotten thing when making thr film
Gotta say Chris Hemsworth is really talented and showed what he can really do with a character if he is let loose..Eye opening for Marvel ..
I mean he recently came out and said he's the reason love and thunder wasn't good because he wanted to act out more and be more zaney.
So I'm glad Chris got this outlet to really show off his talent.
Agreed. Marvel F him over since Infinity War
@@dan7564Well apparently that was all bollocks because he is nice enough to not want an old friend to get all the hate.
Few things…
She doesn’t build her arm, she takes it from a wheelchair that we see being wenched down.
The motor on it works some kind of hydraulic grip that she uses to break the chains on the bear
We found out that the green place no longer exists in fury road; that’s the point she does that epic scream on her knees in the sand.
Also, the other little girl at the start named Valkyrie is one of the women that joins them for the final act of fury road.
The motor if from a gas RC cart type.
Completely bullshit movie that robbed our time
This was peak cinema, i love this movie. The action scenes, the way they zoom in and out, the sounds of the v8 engine, the explosions. The acting of Chris and Anna was crisp. Love every minute of it .
They gave it a 9/10
I saw it last night. I think critics are overrating it and Imdb and Letterboxd scores are starting to show it. For me, it was a 7/10. A bit too long and nowhere near Fury Road level
Not all hero’s wear capes

@@TheWonderwallLopes I thought the same thing with the length, but after watching Fury Road after Furiosa and then Furiosa again more recently I believe every scene was essential and important especially for an origin story I expected it to feel lengthy in certain areas, once again it is an Origin story.
Bahaha they would
Remember people, last time George Miller returned to Mad Max after a long time, not many watched despite everyone who did loving it to the moon and back and 5 academy awards and then everyone complained why it took 9 F*CKIN YEARS for another film! And George Miller is pushing 80!! Watch this if you want there to be any hope of one more!!
Watch it several damn times ! We aren’t getting these gems anymore from actual filmmakers this is a celebration! An event ! Spread the word
there was a legal dispute with warner after fury road. They didnt pay Miller everything they owed. That took time and thats the reason this one took so long. they needed to wait until the legal stuff was sorted out. took some years
@@mucknstrunz Of course. Who else but Warner. They're ridiculously scummy when it comes to legal disputes.
Yeah, all the usual sources are already saying it's bombing, the worst Memorial Day opening weekend in 30 or 40 years, ya da ya da. So go see it, people! Hell, see it a second time - which is probably what I'll do, I liked it so much. Make all the doomsayers eat sh*t.
Probably not it’s an abysmal failure at the box office
Somehow, Chris “overplaying” the character didn’t feel cringe, it was FUN! Furiosa is BADASS. Super cool, worthy of IMAX for sure
I love how much he loved this role
That’s basically why I went at the first pre screening available I was so curious to see Hemsworth finally having fun in a role and he didn’t disappoint! Always knew he was a great actor he just never got a script to let loose
I can’t get past the nose. He looks and sounds like Nigel Thornberry
I feared for his performance but he delivered
Yeah exactly with Chris Hemsworth overplaying an being over the top as The Great Dementus was glorious.
It was fun 🙂
George Millars filmography is wild. Mad Max and A pig named babe.
and a penguin called Happy Feet.
That'll do pig.... That'll do
And some Witches of Eastwick
A genie played by Idris Elba
He's like Robert Rodriguez with his Desperado / Spy Kids 😂
I just saw the movie. Wow. This is the most Mad Max movie I've ever seen. I was pleasantly surprised. This movie completely exceeded my expectations.
I am buying the movie just for that one chase scene. You know which one. Total chaos!
Zack Snyder is not only a bad big world builder but a terrible story teller.

I’d watched it in IMAX with an open mind and man I was blown away they laid a foundation and did a great job putting the whole mad Max world together. Worth the watch.
She was unconscious when Max found her she didn't see him.
I don't think Max took her to the citadel. It's not really in character for him to go out of his way for someone he has no reason to help. I think the woman who was living in the tunnels saw her and pulled her in as she recognized her from when she was little when Dementus tried to overtake the citadel the first time. There was a moment where she focused on her during that fight. I think they cut a scene that would show her finding her and bringing her back to heal her.
The borderlands movie is going to be a nightmare compared to this.
Like going from a 5 star restraunt to the mcdonalds that is 3 weeks from closing at 11 pm
It's sold out for 2 shows tonight, Friday, down here in southern Louisiana. Movies that never sell out.
Word of mouth is gonna take a second
I heard it wasn’t doing well though a few days back. I guess the situation is changing, then.
Yeah I tried seeing it last night in Lafayette and it was sold out. Never in my life have I seen that around here. Maybe for a marvel movie once
@@makasete30 it only came out yesterday May 24.
saw it in new orleans. super fun!
The Green Place was the marshland where they got the War Rig stuck in Fury Road, hence the reason why they decided to go back and take the Citadel before Immortan Joe could return. The Green Place is no more.
I thought Praetorian Jack looked like a young Tom Sizemore. But I can see Stacy Keach
Yeah! Stacy Keach!
I love the anti-comparison to Zach Snyder. Rebel Moon wishes it was half-as-interesting as even the lesser Mad Max movies.
Neat little detail; when the bommy knocker of the war rig starts spinning when Octoboss and his rogue biker horde attack it, the black sails of his glider for a moment while spinning look like the tentacles of an octopus.
I saw this today in a regular theater and now I bought a ticket to see it again in IMAX
In IMAX is so impressed
I wasn't too worried about Chris playing a bad guy, he did a decent job as a cult leader in Bad Times at the El Royale.
saw this in IMAX a couple days ago, it was amazing, it looks much better than the trailers you guys
But he must've recognized her hmmmmm
George Miller is a master of worldbuilding. He knows how to create characters and cultures without having to explain things with exposition. He shows why things are the way they are through actions and character interactions. He doesn't need someone to say, "we worship car engines because we rely on them for war and survival." He just shows you how this cult works and you understand it intuitively.
prateroian jack looks like snake from mgs
Lol when i saw him solid snake lookin ahh
Now that you mention it, I'd love to see him play Snake.
I'm now confident Joe purposely says characters names wrong at this point. Dementor < Dementus
Anya has no bad movie so far. I can even dare to say that all are pretty good.
Except for The Menu
New Mutants was disappointing
I still don't understand that scene where Chris Hemsworths nipples is chained and connected to his hostage . Was the some sort of "Friendship Chain" kind of thing?
I was honestly kinda confused as well, I guess it’s to show that “oh he’s insane he wouldn’t dare have his nipples ripped off “ if he let that leader go and well we saw what happened after that lol
It was so he stayed encouraged to not let go of the pike too early or by accident.
Its basically supposed to be a deadman switch kind of thing, like if something happens to him then the hostage dies.
This made me want to replay Mad Max the game, for the 12th time, not even a huge fan but that game SLAPPED
Dude that game slaps hard, love it, been looking for mods and expansion packs and hopefully they make a sequel!
Especially now that the game is canon to the film series. Up till this point, they kept telling us the game wasn’t canon.
@@thanktink4328 the games old af now, even Fury road couldn’t revive it, so I doubt we’re getting a new Mad Max game, if we do it’ll probably be a reboot and it will not be as good because they blame the game when it was bad marketing

Dementus was not the villain we were looking for. Wrong casting I would say but the actress for Furiosa was fine.
@@denizbeytekin9853 lol you are high
@@AZjesse1 i agree w/ deniz ...too funny like thor... people are easily impressed and just like the actor
@@AZjesse1 Awful pacing. Awkward dialogue. Tons of CGI and fake looking backgrounds. I re-watched Fury Road after seeing Furiosa and the first 30 minutes of the film is better than the entirety of Furiosa. It's high octane throughout the entire film where as Furiosa takes its time with the prologue for a generic ass revenge plot. It takes literally an hour until we get a decent action scene and the ending was so dragged out. Not a bad movie. Fury road was just too good it brought down Furiosa a lot for me.
One of the most badass movies I've seen in a long time
the hunchback that gives Furiosa's shit car with 3 wheels is mad max's companion in the video Game. (Chumbucket)
Yes! Seeing him and Scrotus blew me away. Cause up till now, the game wasn’t canon. But I guess now it is. 🤷♂️👍
I LOVE the Mad Max video game. If these guys like the factions there is so much lore in the game and the attention to detail is fantastic. That game is an absolute gem especially if you’re super into Mad Max. I still go back and play for a Mad Max fix.
Still a game I need to finish in my backlog. I definitely seen the potential while playing it
underated game for sure
I love that the Furiosa movie has elements of the game (which is part of the canon).
For one Scrotus is in the movie and then the guy, who gives Furiosa her car is Chumbucket.
Or to be precise: He is a dude, who started building a car, has a hunchback and Chumbucket was credited in the credits.
I know!!! 💯👏🏼
I wish they remastered it for PS5 and added New Gameplus. I do replay it annually tho and still enjoy it.
@@SirRengeti It's SO nice to see this comment. After hearing/seeing/reading so many reviews asking "So who's this Scrotus guy; he wasn't in the last film!?" I was starting to think I was the only person on the planet who remembers that the (really good) game is canon.
When I saw the movie (a few hours ago) I was like, "Oh! Hey! That's Scrotus from the game! And Is that Chumbucket??!!" : )
Man we need more stuff like this out of hollywood. What a fun movie.
Unfortunately, what "we need" and what "we pay for" aren't the same thing. Furiosa might have been good, but it's gross is gonna get eclipsed by the likes of Minions 4 and Sonic 3. Those will be the big hitters of 2024.

Yes i did notice its bad
First movie that gets me in the theater since last summer with Oppenheimer, looking forward to this one for sure. Thanks George!

That moment where Hemsworth is sitting on top of that monster truck, with the motorcycles circling, talking to himself losing his shit, great acting

The fact this is failing and fighting with Garfield at the box offices is so fking sad, shame on you humans
I did not like the cgi used in this movie. Looked so cheap compared to the first movie…
If they made a Mad Max 5, id have to assume they'd recast Furiosa or Max. Tom Hardy and Charlize Theron DID NOT get along at all during filming. Considering Anya Taylor-Joy supposedly did the character justice, it might make sense for her to play Furiosa in a future movie.
I really only want Tom Hardy as Mad Max again if Miller does another one. he just feel right as the new Mad max. maybe do one in the distant future and bring back Mel Gibson. that would be fire
@@TMV420 My dreamscenario is they work out a way to get BOTH Hardy and Mel Gibson - a movie in two chapters; Tom Hardy in chapter one, closing chapter with Mel going out in one last blaze = the perfect end of the Mad Max saga.
Anya is hinted to not have had a good time either. Something about how its a sexist work area yada yada yada. Tom should defiantly come back.

So it is possible to make new movie on existing franchize with a female lead and have people like it. Could it be that a good movie is a good movie regardless of the lead actors gender? While a bad movie is bad regardless of the lead actors gender?
😂 could it be that Hollywood is pushing an agenda frequently and you don't even notice
@@Cenot4ph and the agenda is that it’s fine to have women take on lead roles like men have since films began? Oh the humanity. Just don’t watch them, there’s plenty of movies out there to get your fix of men 🥱
There's a female lead but what makes it good is that it shows men are still in power of the world 💪🏻
Fury Road demonstrated this with Charlize Theron and the women’ she’s trying to save. It was done right in Fury Road and in Furiosa, too. Furiosa’s mother, young Furiosa, and Elsa Pataky all killed it. Other examples are Game of Thrones/House of Dragons where women actors absolutely slay it and we’re not even thinking of gender.
The guy who gave her the car is Chumbucket the black thumb from the Mad Max video game just like scrotus
Lotta these movies are all CGI nowadays, makes you really respect the use of real vehicles on real roads like the original Mad Max movies, as well as the older Fast and Furious movies.

Was i the only one that thought the CGI was quite bad, especially after watching Dune Pt. 2?
I liked the movie quite a bit, but yeah a bit too much green screen for my taste. The effect work was more seamless in Fury Road.
bad? its quality fidelity and animation and physics and shading. the issue to me is that it looked unreal. instead of feeling cheap it felt animated which was strange and never stopped being jarring. fury road is realism perfected whereas furiosa is one enslaved child's fantastical revenge story made up of brutality to mythical proportions.
See it in 4DX-maybe the most awesome theater experience I’ve ever had.

Just Got of a Dolby Cinema Screening of Furiosa.
Anya Taylor Joy and Chris Hemsworth are So Good in This.
1 to 1 Comparison of Fury Road & Furiosa Below.
📜 Script Wise, Furiosa is Superior to Fury Road.
1. Furiosa(The Movie) has the Build of a Young Furiosa all the way up to Adult Furiosa and it's Very Good. How She met Immortan Joe etc. It also Feels more Expansive, doing little Bits of Exploring of 3 Locations (Gastown, Bullet Farm & The Citadel).
2. Fury Road is Furiosa Steals the 5 Wives, "Bumps" into Max, Tells Max that they're Heading to "The Green Place", Max Realises that "The Green Place" isn't there, and all of this is happening whilst Immortan Joe and his Army are Chasing Them across the Desert.
🎨 Visuals, it's a Tie.
1a. Both Fury Road and Furiosa have Some Stunning Visuals, Both have Amazing Colour Palettes. Both have the Light Blue Sky Coupling the Orange Sand Shots. The Sandstorm Scene in Fury Road and That Blue Scene in Fury Road Looked so Good.
1b. The Very Ending of Furiosa when she is Beating Up Dementus and there is a Shot when her Neck was Amped Up with Veins Popping & Strong, Such a Breathtaking Shot.
🎭 The Characters. It's Too Tough to Call. It's Another Tie.
1a. Fury Road has the 5 Wives who Certainly Add much to the film both performance wise and plot wise, it has Of Course Max who is Definitely Missed in Furiosa, it has Charlize Therons' Furiosa, it has Nux, it has a More Significant Performance by Immortan Joe.
1b. Furiosa has Furiosas' mother (Excellent Opening), it has Chris Hemsworth as Dementus who is Very Charismatic in this, it has Immortan Joe but he's not as Prominent in this, it Has Anya Taylor Joy as Furiosa (She's better than Charlize Therons' Furiosa in my opinion, "You Fabulous thing" as Dementus Puts it). It has Immortan Joes 2 Sons. And it has Praetorian Jack.
💥 The Action Scenes - Fury Road Wins. Furiosa has Spectacular Action Scenes too but Fury Road has More of them.
Just to name a few.
1. The Bike Jumping Scene in Fury Road, the Guitar Guy 🎸, the Pole Vaults in Fury Road, the Max Fighting Furiosa and the 5 Wives near the start of Fury Road.
2. Furiosa does have some Amazing Action, The Parachute Scene, The Sniper Scene & Dementus on top of the Tower Scene.
🎬 Bonus. I noticed that some of the Camera Work was Excellent in Furiosa. The Scene with Furiosas' Mother Captured and "The History Man" in the Foreground & Furiosas' Mother in the Background Tied Up, the Camera Does this Stunning Quick Change of Lens and i just thought it was Brilliant Camera work.
⌛ The Endings. Fury Road Wins. The Epic Ending in Fury Road when the Citadel realise that Immortan Joe is Dead and the "Let them up chant" & the Score as Max Looks up at Furiosa With the Little Nod in that moment. You just can't Beat that.
Overall, They're 2 Brilliant Pieces of Artistry within Cinema, 2 Distinct Masterworks in their own right imo. 1 tips the Scales in Story & 1 Tips the Scales in Action.
Agreed but to add to this i love furiosa's world building better while yes, fury road was almost pure action it gave us enough world building to understand whats happening, furiosa gave us a day in the life of the wasteland and god damn is it brutal
'I love the unique language' and it's just aussie slang 💀
Joe is back! 😍❤😊
Dementus has made his way into my top 5 all time favorite villains
he really was great
@ 21:30, This version of the conclusion has to be true, because she doesn't have the seed in Fury Road. The same seed that she had been carrying around with her for literally her entire life.
24:17 I disagree, Dementus was 100% on par with Immortan Joe if not better. The whole thing with Gastown being in utter chaos was a ruse to get all the wasteland leaders in a meeting so that he could capture the bullet farm while their guards were down. Remember,he was the one who was insistent on all the leaders meeting. We can also assume this was his plan because he used similar tactics to take over Gastown in the first place. If it weren’t for Furiosa and Jack Demntus would have been ruling the wasteland.
You said Dementor a few times That's the villain from Turbo Man lol
Tne Narrator is the History Man that is with Dementus form the begin.
This movie would have been well-received like 2-3 years after Fury Road but I think with the overexposure of badly written female characters, it's just the pendulum swinging away from the tropes that these types of characters represent. I saw the movie and I loved it. I don't think it was as good as Fury Road but it had amazing world building and provided some great character insight.
The guy that plays Jack looks like a dead ringer for Solid Snake

They actually pulled quite a bit from the video games and comics.. But the only part they didn't pull from the video games was the fact that most of the ocean is probably dried up. And I guess that might happen later on. In the story we don't see the ocean right away. So at some point as furiosa is growing up. Maybe that's when it's retracting but in the video game there's several miles of ocean That has been dried up called The Great White..

ONLY ONE ISSUE : the cgi is quality but it looks like an animated film whereas fury road is realism perfected. (its all fantasy of course) also the original final shot of the film which is where the main villain has a tree coming out of his crotch woulda been so cool to keep that as the final shot but nope, the producers added a scene of joe's wives loading up to escape to futher the already understood point that this is a ffkmg prequel. lame.
Not everyone saw fury road. I thought it flowed great at the end and encouraged people to go watch the next movie if they haven't seen it
I thought the cgi was fine. There was a lot more cgi that was created for scenes, instead of aiding a lot of what was already there (if that makes sense).
@@imkaneforever yes, it was fine quality. but wouldn't you describe it as cartoony as opposed to lifelike the way fury road was? nevermind if it was good cgi or not, my point is the style clashed noticablynat times with the actual film of actual human beings and actual cars.
Maybe to you it's understood but Fury Road was 9 years ago, some people need those refreshers or they may not have watched Fury Road at all.
SPOILER: that was indeed a Mad Max’s cameo. He wasn’t eating beans but canned dog food. I think that was alluding to a scene in Mad Max 2. I think Furiosa is a lot of fun and beautifully crafted movie. The only downside is imo ATJ is either a miscast or wasn’t written well. Her character was stoic throughout the movie with dead stare. Compare her performance to the shorter time given to other characters, namely Praetorian Jack, whose actor is able to communicate more layers and emotional depth with his eyes and body language. Furiosa/Anna here is the same character with all her ability already fully realized since she is a kid.
Yeah, I agree, she has a few cringe anger walk/stare moments.. hard to watch
Kinda wish they wouldve showed some of the 40 day war. The movie was building up to it. The drums, the armies mobilizing, and dementus delivering an energetic, "LETS PARTY." Then for the movie to simply describe it through a narrator and a couple slides was a big let down.
I feel ya however i depicted it as something worthless like, this a war for nothing but the wastland with scraps of resources that are soon to run out, and its even recorded as if its important history but lets be real those 40 days is like dust in the wind just another day in the wasteland
Saw it earlier in Dolby Cinema. It was incredible. I agree with Joe, I think this film had the sweet spot between story and action. Fury Road was also incredible, but this one had its own unique charm. And the chase/battle scenes had some fresh flair that caught me by surprise.
I think they drag the tire behind them to make more dust so she couldn't shoot them?
They take the tire to make it inoperable
ToeJam says that it was crippled
@Ktmfan450 Yes but they also drag the tire to create dust I think. If they wanted to make it inoperable all they would have to do is slash the tire.
@@darthenclave6946 I agree. this was obviously for that purpose
And to cover their tracks...
I also thought Dementus was the origin story of Imortan Joe. I didn't realize Imortan Joe was already established in his Ciditel.
I do wonder what happened to Scrotus between the 2 movies. Does that imply the events of the game happened after this movie (before Fury Road) or are they just ignoring it?
Chumbucket from the game was also in this movie played by Bryan Probets.
The CGI is just too clean and the characters look like anime characters rather than post apocalyptic real people. The child Annya was perfect and even better than the older Furiosa but the acting is good enough, it is just the immersion which is lost to me due to how every frame of the movie looks like it was generated by an Ai image generator sadly. Not a bad movie at all, at least a 6 out of 10 but certainly not a 9.
Yeah, because mad max has always been about realism lol
@@funkrobot9762 Any movie set in the future are obviously not realistic, but the key word is believable worlds and immersive worlds
Yeah just compare the trailer from fury road to this one and you can see this one lacks the texture fury road had. Too polished
You’re tasteless only 6 🤣.
😂 wtf
If anyone wants learn most of the Mad Max lore play the Mad Max 2015 video game. It sort of takes place before the Fury Road movie, I recently played it for the first time and it made me watch all the movies for the 1st time too.
The prop guy in this film probably would have done a better Rebel Moon than Snyder did.
This movie was way better than Dune 1 and Dune 1 and even Fury Road for me. My opinion. 💯
I'm glad you guys really enjoyed it. I really liked it too. I want to see it again. My only complaint and it's a small one, is that I wanted to see more Anya Taylor-Joy.
The actress that played Kid Furiosa did an excellent job! I felt like that part of the movie went on too long. However, I was not bored at all or anything like that. The world building was great. It's just that I wanted to see more Anya. But yeah, great movie! Amazing performances from everyone!
Even the noticeable CGI/green screen didn't bother me at all. I mean, yeah, it's noticeable, but everything about the movie is solid.
When is the last time these people have reviewed a video game? This entire channel is now all about reactions and movie reviews.
What new games are there to review, which they haven't already covered in a review or news update? Not saying it to prove a point or sound like a dick, honestly I'm just curious because I've lost a bit of interest in gaming myself so maybe I'm out of touch

You mean Suicide Squad? stupid.
I mean it’s the AngryJoeShow not the AngryJoeVideoGamesOnlyShow 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️
I'm going boot up Mad Max, such an amazing game.
I just picked it up for $5!
@@purefoldnz3070 that's a great deal.
@@Stug138 yeah and great timing haha! I really wanted to play it after watching the movie.
Eh it’s alright
Ya, a Nintendo classic 😉
These guys clearly never watched Bad Times at the El Royale.
Chris is a great villain in that.
I thought for sure Imortan Joe was going to flood the biker gang out when they first arrived at the citadel. I also thought for sure we were getting a battle at gas town with the oil moat ablaze. It was good at doing the unexpected.
It was so awesome! It went PEW PEW and den it went BOOM BOOM! Truely a cinematic masterpiece of the universe!!!
wrong
okay Boomer.
My favorite part was when it went Vroom Vroom! Praise the V8!

"Can you make it epic?"
Sadly for me it wasn't. The movie, will still good, fell into the trap of so many prequels / sequels - failing to live up to the legendary standard of the original.
Demenus wasn't as iconic a villain as Immortan Joe. Some old characters were brought back but were just kinda there. The fights were fun but lacked the epicness of Fury Road. The music wasn't as outstanding. And the ending was almost anti-climatic. It's like a song you love but sung by a cover band slightly out of tune.
Completely agree. Doesn’t hold a candle to Fury Road and while it may seem unfair to compare the two, this movie doesn’t make much sense without the other.
Demenus was top in the sense that he is incompetent. And Immortan Joe isn't.
As a reminder, Joe is also in furiosa, he's is in the movie, and he's still great and iconic
You still have to find the door to this movie, 'cause it seems you didn't enter it
I don't think Dementus was meant to be as epic as Immortan
I haven’t seen it yet but it would so hard for anything after Fury Road to top it. That movie is fantastic start to finish. So if this can come close I’ll still be happy.
@@GangstarComputerGod The best thing is to watch Furiosa and then Fury Road
Dark Knight Joker "aggressive expansion" scene parallels with the 5 spare bikes.
Chris Hemsworth was absolutely possessed in this role. Might be his best performance yet
