So, is it still worth $3,000? I say YES! It's the best option for getting dirty with some serious off road riding. But, what do you think? Would you pay this much money for an electric skateboard?
The 2021 standard G4 models are just over 3700USD(5k AUD) and the 2020 S2 base model is around 3500AUD with the current 10% discount they are offering, making it just under $2600USD....totally worth every cent especially considering the cost of any brand name dual suspension mountain bike. The S2 is smaller, lighter and much more maneuverable and the new S2 Atrax does not use belt drive.
OMG Best review yet didnt even have to finish i just wanted to know about person onboard performance bc lab test and actual road test give out 2 different results nice job also this is not a skate board its exactly wht the name states baja BOARD
What do you recommend? Getting a bajaboard, an ecomobil m24 or wait for the exway atlas? Currently own an evolve gtr carbon but want something full 4x4
I probably wouldn't put the Atlas in the same category as Bajaboard and the M24. They're quite big and designed for straight stretches and really tough terrain. The Atlas is still very agile. Depends on the style of riding you want to do.
My diy is with pool noodles & dental floss maybe surfboard wax it's weight capacity UNDER 114lbs and itself is like 70lbs weighing 💯 good luck with your lifestyle choices thanks 👍
Bought one and that’s bull I have had so many remote to board connection issues if you buy one just be ready to wait about 2 months or less and then have to repair things in it by your self within the first week of having it
I'll go with the propel x4s. Same size same speed same range same look for half the price. The amount of money I would spend buying a Baja board I could use that money to buy an actual motorcycle
I was think about buying this board until you mentioned the maintenance part. How much maintenance are we talking (i.e. belt changing, tire changing, etc.)
The thing with this eboard is that it has a lot of moving parts, which is what makes it so unique. Initial calibration is required, which the Bajaboard team can help you out with. If you want to get the maximum performance out of the board, you'll want to check the tire pressure before each ride. The harder you ride, the more belts you'll go through. If you do a lot of off-road riding and it get's really dirty, you'll want to clean the board afterwards to make sure the parts last a long time. All that being said, the Bajaboard team are amazing and are willing to help you out with anything you need with the board, from servicing, to spare parts and even learning how to maintain your board.
You worry about the maintanance? How about the shitty ebike controllers, faulty remote software, bad quality components, jerky control, brakes before you get throttle... It doesn't turn and if it kinda does you get speed wobbles at 30 km/h. It is the worst board ever, It is a joke. I bet anyone saying Bajaboard is a great ride has never ridden a board with a VESC controller. Not having VESC units in such an expensive board is more than a sin and a total deal braker.
G'day mate how are you doing today? I was just watching some random eskate videos and I've bumped into your channel, very nice videos man, good contents, video quality and post production. I am about to open my channel as well in the following weeks, I will have some eskate contents as well as musical one. Now, I've recognized the spots you ride at... That bridge is well known by me, actually I was there today and I was wandering, Am I the only one around here? looks like I'm not... I'd like to know if you are interested in collaborations, I have an Idea in mind, something I haven't seen yet. Have a good one mate.
Don't even need to watch the video, no it's not worth $3000. That being said after the video it's definitely the best. It's just no skateboard is worth that unless it literally flies.
@@eSkateHubI am pretty sure they regret you doing a review on this board. I absolutely will not get this board now and not finishing this painful video. And yes I own an eboard company.
Great review and info. I never knew you could make and have all those adjustments through the remote. Christmas is around the corner sssssoooooo maybe 🤔
Good question. I'm unfamiliar with the import laws in Kuwait. Bajaboard are very good at shipping boards around the world so they'll be able to work something out. Alessandro is a great guy and will be more than willing to help you out.
Hell no one wheel or Electric unicycles are cheaper more maneuverability more range compact in a better rush had one of these boards boring as can be all there good for straight long runs or wide turns like you’re turning a tractor trailer truck save your money and buy a one wheel or Electric unicycle and you’ll have spare money in your pocket for all the good things
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I'll try to edit more footage of the product rather than just me in future videos. It can sometimes be hard to film myself riding. I try to get friends to help out when they can but they're not always available.
@@eSkateHub Yes safety first, good point. I for one would like to see the camera go over every inch of the product as you talk, thanks for all the hard work
The reason it's so expensive is because the motors are powerful enough to pull you through the toughest terrains. It can even do hard sand. Also, the the quality of parts are second-to-none and the level of customer service you receive from these guys is the best.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. A few people have mentioned this and I will try harder to get more riding footage rather than just me speaking to the camera. It's hard filming myself riding but I'll come up with a solution 👌
This Bahbye Board is not worth $3500 I can get Super 73 RX for $3k or OneWheel XR and have a ton more fun without having to worry about maintenance all the time. Bahbye Board 😂😄🤣
Haha. The Bahbye Board is classic! The reason it's so expensive is because the motors are so powerful that it can manage pretty much any terrain. It'll even do hard sand. They're also built with the highest quality parts. But you're right, it's not for everyone.
So, is it still worth $3,000?
I say YES!

For someone who didn’t pay for it ofc lmao
Love this board! Looks amazing. Great review as always

I’m thinking the M24….
Very detailed. Thanks.
No problem. Thanks for watching.
Is there any place In the us that does maintenance on baja boards? That's the only thing that's stopping me from buying one

How can we buy this
You can buy this board from Bajaboard.com.au

I'm always up for collabs! I don't live in that area but my best mate does so I'm there fairly often.
@@eSkateHub awesome mate, is there a better way to communicate rather than youtube comments? Thanks and have a great one!
How's the carving aspect compared to an evolve?
It doesn’t. Evolve’s shred hard. Baja is too heavy to carve like that.
Who cares about that lol

How much is the board from kd
It starts from US$3550. What do you mean from kd?
Can we buy this in Kuwait
I meant kuwait denare
Do you still have the Teamgee H20 board? I’m thinking about getting it
I don't have it anymore. I had to sell it while I was travelling. It's a good board for sure.

This is a giant rc monster truck e board
Hahaha! That's for sure!
I’ve actually done 41mph on my g4x, got a little speed wobble otherwise I may have got more but it is scary fast
You think the s2 is faster
I think it could be as fast but you would need to upgrade motors possibly, I know the acceleration wouldn’t be as fast without upgrades

how long can you drive with one battery?
It depends on a lot of different factors, but in perfect conditions you should be able to get up to 50km / 31 miles
Not sure you can compare baja board maintenance to an actual car, maybe like an RC car.

Yeah the Bajaboard is definitely a different style of ride compared to the OneWheel or an EUC.
0:50 - my understanding is its all made in china then assembled in australia?
Yep it is now. At the time of recording, all of the production was done in Australia.
What is thr range?
It varies depending on the riding conditions but in a perfect scenario you can get up to 50km / 31 miles.
May I ask why you chose to show you 80% of the time and not the product you are reviewing?

gotta put some bass in that voice brotha lol
Hahaha!! Ohh I know man... I've been working on it. Picked myself up a better mic which has helped.
I would choose the baja board over onewheel but 3k for a skateboard is a little overpriced.
