This game managed to capture the way I felt about my urban childhood in a big city, free of smartphones and even cell phones were these big blocky things that only businessmen had hanging from their belts. It's interesting to see this sort of era combines with science fiction anime roleplaying things. 6th street is just so cozy, and Lumina Square absolutely perfectly captures that downtown kind of feeling. This game is incredible even though the mobile games and games as a live service delivery model grow stale and tiresome... today's generation will only have the music to listen to, unless there's maybe a private server or reverse engineered client of some sort, and if they want to play, it's not like they can go and pick up an old game cartridge at a "retro" shop. It's all going to fade into the ether one day, but for the time being we enjoy the experience.
