Adding our trending audio while editing is not new information. This video presents itself as if it's offering something new and not obvious. Not hating, just offering feedback. My thought was like "well duh, everyone knows we can add trending audio BEFORE adding it to the scheduler. Thats just a given. However sometimes the reels using trending audio thats previously added wont reflect as trending audio after it's posted." This is what I thought I might learn. Anyway, Cheers to Metricool for being awesome!
Thank you for the feedback! We get the question so often so we wanted to provide both methods. IG is getting better and better at detecting sounds but yes it isn't always a guarantee that the sound will populate. Here's hoping for those API restrictions to one day be gone as it would save all of us so much time!! 🤞
@@metricoolapp actually that is true - before this was NOT an option and trending sound would only be recognised by IG when added inside the app - so I found the very very very informative! :)
In the final part On the cell phone where it says: "press to post now" on the REELS button that appears on my cell phone "error downloading multimedia" and it does not allow me to publish. Has it happened to anyone? What can I do in that case? HEEELP MEE :(

After locating a great trending video on IG, how do I add it to my video before uploading it to Metricool? Do I have to find it with Shazam? Where can I download it? And the question here is do we have to pay for it or it can be downloaded from somewhere for free? Thank you so much in advance!
@@marcusfrancis24 you can definitely auto post to TikTok on both personal and business accounts. The only thing is that if you want a specific sound, you would then need to manually post. If the sound is already imported in then you are good to go!
Hi guys! Thanks for the video. Just a question... when setting a reel to manually publish, is there a way I can set up my reel cover image on Metricool? Thanks!
You're welcome! :) Yes there is! Once you have your media uploaded, click the 3 dots on the right hand side of the media preview and select edit video thumbnail for Instagram. This will allow you to upload that cover image in.
When you toggle off the "Autopublish" button, notification presets will appear right under there and you can click on edit and adjust how you want to receive your notifications for manual publishing!
Tried testing this out, and whilst it works, I get a sudden drop in video quality. Have you noticed if this has any particular effect when using iOS or Android? I'd love to be able to schedule those reels with tending audio in advance, but if video quality drops, it becomes problematic :/
@@Seivancho Upon upload, we do have to make sure that the video meets the publishing requirements via the API which could be a reason that the quality is lowering. Please reach out to our chat support here though so they can take a look and see what is causing the quality to degrade and if there are any best practices we can take: metricool.com/contact/

Is it possible to download directly free trend musics on our video editing on canva or another video editing tool ?
When you say free trend music, do you mean currently trending sounds or non-copyrighted sounds? :)

Is auto post to tiktok available yet or do we still have to manually push it live?

Hello! Did you experience the drop in quality when scheduling automatically or manually and downloading from a push notification?
@@metricoolapp manually from push notification. I would assume this is due to the video being imported on a cloud, but is there a way to bypass this?
