    The albums he recorded with Metallica are maybe the best sounding records I've ever heard.

    it's so true what he says about and justice for all. insanely influencial to modern metal. basically paved the way for everything that followed

      I think Puppets was a little more groundbreaking and influential overall, but they are both 100% definitely huge influences on metal to this day.

    This man produced "Imaginations From the Other Side" which is to me the best metal album of all time! Best producer ever!

    A Little bit disappointed by the comment that anyone with a computer can produce an Album... of course he can, but we know it won't sound really Professional...

      @Σπβγ i know rasmussen personally, he got the jobs because he knew what they wanted, i have visited him in the studio and i can see how he changes his work and how he edit from band to band... he just wrote a book probably gonna come out in english soon, go read it, it will change how you will look at his work it is called (on danish) rock og stjernestøv.

      Overrated?
      On the contrary - he’s extremely underrated. He has worked with some of rocks greatest producers, such as Roy Thomas Baker and Roger Glover. That’s what brought Metallica to him. Not just because he’s danish, but because Lars could demonstrate some of his previous works to the other guys.

      The previous location but it's still around in a new location in Copenhagen since 2018

    wasn't Master Of Puppets recorded on a 32 track Mitsubishi X-800 ProDigi digital tape recorder?
