- Growing up, my mom (Granny B) would always surprise my dad and the family with a big box of Double Stuf Oreos whenever she found out she was pregnant. We wanted to see if we could share that memory with her about our exciting pregnancy announcement!
She arrived a few days after we did the treasure hunt with the kids which made it even more exciting for everyone to have a part in surprising her! We also got to make some calls to update Tiffany and Lawson, Mama Jane, Chad's Parents, and more!

I was so thrilled that Mama B guessed right away with the Oreos. She is so good with the grand babies. That was sweet to let Carson call and spread the news.

It’s pretty clear that Kelly Jo is absolutely beloved by all her children and that says alot about her. Often in large families you have atleast one child that is resentful so the fact that they still love their Momma tells me what a great mother she is

That was so sweet telling Granny with the oreo's, I cried when she figured it out. It was very precious to allow Carson the responsibility of letting the family know about the new baby. Congratulations, you all are raising a beautiful family.

It didn't take Mama Bates to figure that one out! I think that is one of the sweetest ways to tell her the news. She should do the same thing to Gil when she gets back home.
