I too had a godly mother in law and felt so blessed to have her. She passed away 42 years ago and I still miss her. She taught me how to be a great hostess and how to set a beautiful table. She loved me like a daughter and referred to me as her daughter when we were with other people. I came from a large disfunctional family and God knew just what I needed and gave me Marie! She also modeled a Titus 2 woman and loved her husband and son and was my role model for a mother in law to my two sons. You are truly blessed with a wonderful lady in Nana Paine!
Such a great Q&A! I knew the Paine's in Indianapolis and this makes me miss chatting with Mrs. Paine. :) One of the things that sticks out in my mind when I think of Mrs. Paine is her sweet and gentle spirit, but the memory that sticks out is how she would play basketball with her boys. I loved how she would take the time to spend time with her kids doing things they enjoyed. It was just so much fun to see her get in there and play with her boys like that. I lost my mother at 17. My mother-in-law was a wonderful women who mothered me - I learned MUCH from her and I loved her dearly. What a blessing! Thank you for sharing.
I had the best Mother in Law She helped me with my premie son , back in 1972. She knew I was slow at recovering and took charge with anything and everything. She was a blessing and a friend for me. I miss her still . She passed away suddenly while I was living in Israel .I thank God for her .
