- It’s always a fun time to join family to celebrate and spend time together at The Bate’s Family Annual “I love you days” celebration - This year was no exception!
Come and join us while we pack up and travel from Sunny Florida and make the trek back to Tennessee! Erin will share some tips and tricks with you about traveling with the little ones and ways we’ve learned to simplify how we pack up the family for long road trips (and keep the kids entertained).
Then, we invite you to join us for the fun and activities that we thoroughly enjoyed together with the family! The theme this year was “I’m on a top secret mission in search of love” filled with mysteries and the occasional spy. 😂

And the best part is he's 1000% genuine , it's not forced like I've noticed with other couples, and no I'm not refereeing to the Bates with the forced comment.

Honestly, this is one of the best family traditions I've ever seen. It's always a joy to watch the Bates family. Christian, kind, and well-rounded people.
I am so in awe of your mom and all of you kids she goes to amazing lengths to have her kids together and always keep christ in the middle of it they are the most amazing Christian parents and grand parents christ shines straight through all the kids and grandkids because the parents have not just taught it but lived it they bring joy to everyone around them thank you for sharing this I know where you get it from she has to be so proud of you for carrying this through to your family God definitely sent Chad to you knowing he would stand right beside you it is showing already in your children

Mrs. Bates absolutely amazing me with all of her thoughtfulness that she puts into her family time. Sharing the love not only with family but sharing Christ's love letter, His Word, was such a blessing to see. Those games were awesome! I know everyone had a wonderful time! Costumes, phenomenal!!! Erin, you get the award for getting great footage of I love you day. I live the Bates family. Sad some had to miss but that's life. You have an amazing family. I know you hated to leave. Ty do much for sharing with us. Be blessed.
I love your positivity! I love the way you always compliment your spouse and your children. I grew up in a family where you spoke to each other in ways I would never speak to my enemy even. I worked hard to be positive with my spouse and children always but it took so much effort and I had many failures but think I feel that bad family environment ended with me. When I watch you and Chad, it seems the positivity just flows so naturally like breathing and as a mother, I REALLY appreciate seeing it and feel your little ones are so blessed to have you as examples. Just as you are blessed by your sweet children!
I agree with you. I was not fortunate enough to be brought up in a Christian home. My family was so rowdy and so dysfunctional.

I'm so thankful you continue to share your wonderful family with us - I miss Bringing up Bates SO much, but this helps to fill in the gaps! What a CREATIVE family you have - what fun when you all get together! You are SO blessed!
You have a big responsibility keeping the kids entertained on long drives and you handle it beautifully! My husband and I tried to trade jobs once and I tried to drive while he cared for our two children (just 2!). It didn't take an hour before he was back in the driver's seat and I was back to multitasking. Anyway, one tip I wanted to share was small/half cookie baking sheets. If you get the metal ones (not aluminum) they are great for road trips. You can use them for magnetic toys, a desk for coloring and the edges keep toys/crayons from rolling off. You could use them for drawing on with washable and erasable markers too. You can use them for a snack tray and they are washable, stackable, take up almost no space and at the end of your trip, you can still use them for baking. Enjoy your travels with the kids. It's exhausting but so worth the memories!

You're missing the gist of it. There's no reason to scold or be mean. When we realize we can't do without God it's a joyful thing to know that we're sinners.
The scolding and harsh churches and religions are what turn people away from religion
@@andreafelton689 It’s called speaking the Truth in love. You are right though…we never want to use a scolding tone or be mean! Sharing the gospel is nothing less and nothing more than quoting the Word of God itself. People need to know that we are ALL sinners in need of a Savior who saves us from God’s wrath. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Rom. 3:23.). “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe the gospel!” (Mark 1:15). “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 6:23). We quote it, not yelling.
You have the sweetest and most loving family.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you for showing us your I Love You Day celebration again in such detail, and allowing us into your family’s home again and seeing so many of your family together once more. Also, thank you for not going too fast with the camera so we could see everyone. I don’t know how much you kids understand, but your whole family has been such a joy and encouragement to me to watch through the years. Didn’t want it to end. This was such a treat tonight! 💜💐✨

Last comment (maybe)- I wish I had enough family to do an “I Love You Day” party. And have even less who would participate. LOL. Y’all’s always look so fun.
I know Erin is a great decorator/party planning if you ever want a “side gig” you should consider it.
But after seeming this, a lot of your family could also do party planning/decorating as a side gig (or Fulltime) if they wanted.

I am sitting here in tears!!! I just LOVE your family and I miss them & the tv show SOOOOO much!!! I couldn't begin to pick who is the most creative in the family but I will say that if I had to pick the biggest heart winner, it would be Momma B every time! Your momma is just the sweetest, most understanding and compassionate woman I have ever seen! My prayer would be to meet her one day and get one of those wonderful, enveloping hugs I see her give! She's just the best!
And Michael - oh my goodness the creativity that young woman has - that dress was stunning! And you're right, it could be a wedding dress!

I could go on and on (more than I already have!!!) but I'll end here with a HUGE thank you to you & Chad for sharing your lives with us. I always know that when I watch your videos I will be lifted up emotionally, spiritually and always leave feeling better than I did before!

I cried when your mom talked about looking around and appreciating being together. My parents had 9 children. My parents along with my oldest sister died unexpectedly in August of 2021. Cherish the times with your parents and siblings. Do not take it for granted. I love your videos you put out. ❤

I really doubt that she thought anything about the babydoll’s color. Did you know that Mrs. Bates adopted sister is black and everyone loves her very much. They had her wedding on the program some years ago. This is definitely a family who sees the person and not color.
You will never know how much these I love you day means to me. I have watched y'all since the beginning. I have no family and my heart is full watching the Bates Family. I pray one day I could meet y'all. Your mom is the best mom I know. Mine has been gone almost 19 years. I so look forward to all the TH-cam videos. You did such an Awesome job filming your visit at the Big house.....giving us a tour, moving the camera slow so we could see everyone attending and then stopping and talking to them, showing their costumes and telling about the games that were played would like to know who won them, and Loved that you filmed Mrs. B giving the award and telling us Lawson's ok and your Dad's prayers....we miss y'all and all of your family activities...you could take over filming and bring back Bringing up Bates! I always loved the 'I Love You Day' episodes when y'all were on tv so this is an extra special video for me! I love how your family indulges your parents by putting effort into making the day special. Costumes, helping decorate, and just being present. I'm a granny now and I know how much that must mean to your parents.
Carson is definitely a mini Chad. All of your children are adorable and so well behaved. I'm happy that you were able to spend some quality time with your family. I can't wait to see Finley's one year old picture.

I've done something similar in the past with my kids. We allow them to open the mystery bags when we pass certain landmarks like "first bridge past", "first state line past" etc. Gives them something to look forward to, they always loved it 😊

That donut game was hilarious. I have never seen that or half of the games that you all played. The money game was truly unique.

Last time before vacation I added to the budget enough for a house cleaner. She came in and cleaned my house while I was gone. That way when we got home it was spotless. That was the best feeling.
I highly suggest to start talking to and vetting one (of course have them come look and let me tell her what I needed done and she told what all she includes. Make sure they are bonded and insured. It was the very best budget addition I ever thought of.
I suggest it to everyone. And of my friends and family who did it, they all say it will forever do it. Nothing like a clean house after vacation
Might I add my house isn’t nasty to begin with, but definitely lived in. When I got home, me and hubby just had to do laundry and mow.
Erin and Chad I loved this video so much ! It reminded me of when y'all were on the show. One of my favorite times to watch was I Love You Day !! I miss the show so much. I still want to be an Honorary Bates and I'm 67 years old lol I just love your family so very much .

I love how sweet Chad is to Erin as well. He's so loving to Erin and the kiddos. I also love Erin's idea about just having the kids live out of tubs and her "goodie" bags. I also like her idea of making individual snack bags for the kids and herself. The only thing I kind of cringed at, was the spray painting the hat thing. I'm not sure if I would want to put spray paint on mine or my child's head. But I know Chad and Erin wouldn't put their children in danger though!
