Eahora romeo 2 ebike - DO NOT BUY

  • This is a warning for everyone who is considering to buy an ebike from Eahora. We tested this bike for a distributor who was about to purchase these bikes to resell in their stores. the distributer has since decided not to purchase these bikes due to the following issues:
    1- The bike was defective right out of the box (front motor not working, broken rear fender, paint issues etc)
    2- the bike accelerates itself at times
    3- eahora's customer service is worse then Kim Jong Un. (they do not care about customer service at all)
    Eahora definitely rushed to market with these bikes- the bikes dont even come with instructions on how to assemble them, nor do they come with a user manual.
    We have waited almost 2 weeks before posting this video to give Eahora a chance to make this right- they decided to only hide behind excuses and not provide proper customer service.

    UPDATE: Eahora has finally offered a full refund if we return both our bikes (this makes no sense so we didnt agree) one of our bikes are already sold to a third party. They Wont accept the return unless we return both bikes. they are obviously just playing games now. the only reason they are offering a refund now is because they see how many views these videos are getting, and its causing other customers who are having similar issues to make videos of their own.
    on top of that the return is conditional, they want us to delete our comments and reviews.and given we've already been through so much hell with eahora, paid an extra $250 out of pocket to fix the bike we will not agree to their terms. We believe customers should see the bullshit they would have to go through if they purchase an Eahora bike. We'll take the loss so you guys dont have to.
    if you have a Similar experience with Eahora and would like to share it please do, we will never delete your comments like the big ebike reviewers do. lets help others from loosing their money to Eahora.

      If you send back the bike you will lose the bike and the money you paid for it, then they will refund you any amount of their choosing after they deduct for "damages" and "use". In the end you will receive a few hundred dollars for the several thousand dollar ebike. The only way to win is to file a credit card dispute assuming you paid that way, you will have the proof that you tried to resolve the problem with them and they have still not resolved it. Credit cards have consumer protection against problems like this and they have professionals to try to work it out with eahora directly, it becomes almost like a legal matter. Don't even communicate with eahora anymore, just talk with your bank and tell them you received a non functional bike and you have proof of all this. If you try to work it out with eahora directly you will lose.

      @@Ebike_Adventures Thats exactly why we are not agreeing. told them to fix the bike or replace it as per their own warranty standards. they've flip flopped on their word atleast 7 times now.

    Mine has been all issues. Theyve dicked me around for over 2 months sending parts that dont work. Pedal assist is non existent.
    I will never buy another ebike. Im 58 and looked for 2 years and decided on eahora. Worst mistake ever.

    I have new Romeo Pro 2 , 40 miles both motors and controllers not working, they don’t want to return refund , they want me to change all parts on a brand new e-bike unacceptable

      exactly my point they do not know how to provide proper customer service. this company is a joke. we should all get together and file complaints to our credit card companies and regulating agencies against Eahora so they are forced to shut down or take this issues more seriously.
      there are atleast 6-7 eahora owners that are having issues with their bikes within the last batch alone... that batch only had 40 units lol...

    Dude, that company is so bad. But I love my GOAT Power Bike V3, and the customer service is amazing. The owner, Bryson, is super helpful and will do anything to fix any problems.

    This is common with Chinese e-bikes. I had a Gosen Q7 with the same service. Just buy domestic. You may not get the 10,000w motors, but at least it’ll work and will be serviced.

    Make sure the front motor cable is fully plugged in , it seems like maybe a bad controller, you can try a new controller for the front motor, they are usually 50-100$ addmotor should be at least able to send a replacement controller?? If not that’s crazy. You can probably find an array of other controllers that could work

      they simply dont care bro. they keep saying its the clutch gear thats the issue... which we have already replaced and proved it to them they simply dont give a crap lol. but they finally offered me a full refund 3 days ago. i guess these video's are finally pissing them off. i declined it though because they want me to delete these video's and comments which im not going to do. i didn't pay full retail for this bike anyways so we wont loose to much money on reselling it.
      plus ive heard stories that when you send the bike back to eahora if the box is in not so good shape etc they figure out reasons to deduct your refund lol the company is a joke.
      thanks for the advice we are certain it is a controller issue as well- i just cant believe the controller wasnt tested in the factory because we've been facing this issue since day one.

      @@letsreview-2024 yeah Man very unlikely they test it at all in the factory. Manufacturer of the motor of course tested the motor, but the people slapping the bikes together- who knows. I wouldnt be buying some large order of these things either. Run in the opposite direction. if 1 has problems they all do

      Looks like your one of the lucky few. also thats a single motor ebike. we reviewed their dual motor ebikes. and both ebikes have had insane problems,

      Typical Chinese company, had the similar problems with aniioki. Never try to work it out with the company if they aren't willing to send you a working replacement first. Otherwise you will lose your time and money. Better to let credit card dispute handle it.

    From the sound of it there’s nothing wrong with the front motor, either wired wrong or the 2 self learning wires were never plugged in to learn direction

      I Doubt they are. they dont even understand the basics of warranty. within 30 minutes of us testing the bike we notified them the front motor is not working. 2 weeks later they STILL have not agreed to replace it. they want us to go go a bike shop and get it repaired and pay for it out of pocket... such an unprofessional company.

Why do we still insist on holding our products even though we hate them so much? Do you like our products so much? You are not a dealer at all, but a liar who uses various means to get products at a low price or even for free. I can give up this job, but I want to expose to everyone how hateful your means are.
      You obviously bought 2 ebikes, and there is nothing wrong with the 26-inch dual-drive. As a dealer, can you test one first? We have been actively cooperating with you to solve the problem, when to raise the problem, when to reply to solve the problem, etc. Just directly confront him. We will not compromise with such hateful means. We accept your full refund and return, but you have always disagreed. We also want to know why.

(I have proof via WhatsApp chat) then you went back on your word and I paid $250 out of My own pocket to fix the bike. Now you’re saying to return the bike because I refused your offer of $280 to delete my negative review.

      That's a mangosteen/eahora product as well, reseller bignui bumps up a base model and does fantastic job, turns an decent 1000w ebike with a cool frame into a kick a$$ 1500w! Bignui is ligit and WILL get back to you about any question you ask on their product. Don't give up, keep trying to get what you want done up right and remember really awesome things are both worth working for and waiting for!

      yeah, better than eahora but its still a Chinese company so dont expect good customer service. ive run into less customers facing issues with Aniioki

    I have the companion model, the Juliet. Had it for 7 months and it's been great. Had to change the rear tire tube and do a brake bleed (normal bike maintenance) but no other issues. Still getting 150km average per charge.

      unsure. but all the bikes come out of the same factory so your chances of getting a lemon is high no matter way you buy it from.
