I need to use painted blades way more than I do. Have so many of them but they often get forgotten about amongst all the other shiny toys. A great reminder!
I have way more shiny blades than painted ones and I'm always tempted to tie those on first. But this past year, some of the best fish I've gotten were on those painted blades.
Nice fish, you'll get bigger than that if you keep spinning! It's my GFs confidence bait and she gets bass, crappie, and trout. Seems like it's hard for that thing to miss lol.
The spinner bait is one of the only two lures that I have in my bass fishing arsenal that I've never caught a bass with. The other bait is the bass jig. I know, lots of fishermen faun over these lures, and with good reason. I've just never had any luck with either, and it's not like I haven't tried catching bass with a spinner or a jig.
Funny to me how you mentioned that chatterbaits haven't been the ticket for you this year. I live in the midwest and it's been the same story for me. Maybe those fish have seen and heard so many they've been chatterbaited to death.

Love all the great fish catches! Seeing how you use the baits out on the water is a big help.👍👊
Thanks for watching! I hope it helps!
Really nice fish LB! Caught my biggest this year on a 1/4 spinnerbait with a Colorado blade. A shade over 3.5 lbs.
Those smaller spinnerbaits can still catch big fish!

Used to fish a spinnerbait more back about 30 years ago when I was much younger in my 50s. Don't know why I stopped using them as much.
I started using beetle spins back in the 70s when I was a kid and have always had a fondness for spinnerbaits!
got to love that spinnerbait bite! never gets old! I'm also a fan of the shimano m/d rod for the $..
Spinnerbaits have been doing work for me all year! Those cheaper Shimano rods have really impressed me. Excellent rods and you can't beat the price!
Great video!!!! Thanks for the helpful tips!!!! Stay Safe & God Bless!!! 🤠👍
I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching!
I usually just stay home on cold windy days. That wind just cuts right through me. But now I'm tempted to go out more! Thanks for the tips LB!
That cold wind can be rough! As long as I can keep my hands and feet warm, I'm usually okay.
Love the Strike King spinnerbait only difference is mine is the chartreuse one. Great video LowBrow thank you bud 👍🏻
I have a few of the chartreuse ones as well! They catch nice fish!
Yes they do sir
Hard to beat the classic lures. Spinnerbaits have been around so long because of how well they work!
Sometimes the old lures are the best lures!

The next time you have a great day and the bass are biting good, try tying a spinnerbait on for a while. You might be able to work out the kinks.
Swim the jig for a while. You'll get free bites and it'll build confidence.

I've caught tons of bass on bladed jigs. But this year has been pretty dry in that department.
