  • Joe D'Amico of Litchfield, CT first noticed the 1956 Dodge Suburban station wagon because it was an uncommon two-door mode, but its two-tone color scheme was impossible to overlook as well. He showed it off for RIDE-CT.

    My dad bought one in 56. It was coral red with the charcoal gray. Same engine. You are correct that only 1800 were made. It was sold in the late 80's.
    I know from experience, good luck getting parts it. Glad to see it on the road.

    Your narration style reminds me of the "Motorweek" show that reviews new cars. Not sure if that's what you are trying to emulate but the vocal delivery style is very similar.

      I've been told that before. It's not on purpose, but I do watch "Motorweek" and have interviewed John Davis in the past. The delivery style comes from working in TV news for many years. I've been trying to back off and be more matter of fact for online consumption in recent videos. Thanks for the feedback.

    my first car was thew 55 dodge custom lancer, yellow on black, it was MINT like this one, tri city towing in wa state stole it from me, I was 17, paid $50 from a friends mom when I was 16 in 76' . . . divorce, no one wanted to drive it.. yup, hemi, so clean.. all original, really loved that car.. theefs
