Im using Lunastra/Medic build with DB using the Guts Lunastra blades 30% affinity 7 crit eye, 3 weakness exploit, 3 crit boost and rank 4 blast build up. The other skills are wide-range lvl 5, mushroom lvl 3 and health lvl 3. Its a good mix of healer + DPS
I like this channel alot ! I dunno why i just found it yesterday, maybe because i just picked up dual blades but yeah i like it and your right ppl complain alot and vitality gems are useless with iceborne armors and cat buffs you could reach 1000 defense lol
CrushingRiptide i didnt mean to be offending in any way, i use healthboost as compfort skill too on elders/multiplayers sometimes. But getting used to dodge by having the pressure of low health is making you better.

Thanks for the video, man. Have you tried Apothecary instead of Temporal for the starting rituals? After the first wall kissing it's almost like a combined cluster team raining shit on your monster, definitely worth a try.
If youre able to keep the skil yes. You would have to also use rath Vabraces to keep the 4set bonus, not sure why i didnt use them maybe lack of slots.
The best defense is stand under a monster with Rocksteady and attack. Is that when you're health is full or do it anytime? With health regen or doesn't matter? I ask because I've noticed a lot of hunters taking hits, being at low health(sometimes even with a blight/status) and they're still going at the monster like nothing happened. And next you see "blank carted". I feel like if I don't use a dust of life then they'd never stop to heal themselves. I rarely die, not because of health boost 3(I see it as a anti BS measure) but because if I'm hit, I take the 5 seconds to heal myself.
D00MTR33 depends, if you have health regen u shouldnt die with 900 defense. Without health regen is a very different story and i also had not confidence. I wasnt trying to say not to heal. But the reason people taking more than 10 minutes to kill monsters is mostly because they dont attack the monster enough.

By tanking tempered monsters with health regeneration augment, what level of health Regen do you recommend to balance out elemental dmg and health Regen?
SilentAgony 101 never used more than 1 health regen. Its useless, if you want more lifesteal you can out medicine jewels(increase 30% any source of healing including healthregen)
now... in need of new information for blast db... since there is safi armor&weapon, raging brachydios armor&weapon, KT kjarr weapon... which one would be better?
So i basically did a gold rathian grind for no reason because their is a blast damage cap at 300. And even if my blade goes uo to 470 blast it wont do that damage and neither going to hit harder with the gold rath 4 bonus smh :(
Khaled42 not yet, the mhw Builder is almost done you should be able to check, but efr doesnt count in blast so you wont have a legit number. Also monsters HZV changes

Nice, im farming gold rath and looked for some ideas for builds, i thing i try that tomorrow. Sadly im lacking augment stuff.

does the blast amount got patched or so? i can only reach 530 blast now. when i put on the 2nd blast+ jewel it still stays at 530 blast :/

Azure Skeith you definitly need some tempered lunatra from guidinlands. They also give tempered elder bones

Chris Counterman only shara is 600 because he has alot of HP, you cant increase blast damage

Health boost is quality of life. It's not necessary at all. I run it when I go brain dead and bang my head against the monsters head until it dies.
