Thanks! I do plan to teach more! And I helped on a tv show to learn to do this better! So far we have helped 6 million people save money on their auto repairs!
Wait……….. a real video that shows the real thing actually happening!!! This is amazing!! Where can I find more real things in this world!?! 1billion stars for being human and not an idiot looking for views
As a rule, I always turn the plugs backwards to feel for the threads to line up , especially on aluminum head's, to avoid cross threading the plugs ( even with bolts .
Great video, I have the same truck. 2012 5.7 8 cyl. I’m getting a misfire code for cylinder 8. Thinking about all new plugs and coils, since I’m at about 120k. My concern is making sure I’m using the right amount of torque putting the plugs in.
I have a 2005 Hemi 5.7 has over 200,000 miles how do you think I'm going to have a problem getting the plugs out I bought it new I know the plugs have never been replaced
For filming purposes, it is easier to share and teach the process; for the rear units, we played with different lengths of extensions to get proper access. Sorry, this was not helpful for you.
The process is the exact same for every single one. I cant get my hands and a camera back there to show you. Have you finished the job!? Happy Motoring -Blair
trying to find someone who has changed the plugs on the driver and at least given some tips or tricks is silly. pretended the passenger side is anything like the driver side is frustrating. a walk through on changing plugs and not addressing the dog shit design and nearly impossible means to get to the plugs is infuriating. If you are going to provide a walk through and not show how the hell you got into the driver side back 4 means you didn't. you are going to need special tools, patients and a cool engine to lay on top of cause you are not going to reach it in anyway as easily as any others. for the love of god, show how you got in there.

Great video. You should be an instructor. All the pertinent info without twelve minutes of bs. Thanks for editing!

Perfect. I've got a 2012 Ram that needs some new spark plugs so this came out at the perfect time. Thanks guys.
Good luck! It gets tight in some of those places! Happy Motoring!

I thought on a hemi it would be a lot more difficult but I was wrong good video
I heard that with the iridium plugs, it is not recommended to use anti-seize grease. Your thoughts?
So as a question what’s the gapping on the plugs or do you just throw the new ones in and hope for the best real curious
The new ones are already gapped. Won’t hurt to check them with the proper gap tool

The minimum torque spec is 11 ft lbs the maximum is 15! Lets us know how it works out for you!
HA! I just had one with cylinder 5 failure. I will have to check in and see if #8 is one that goes faster! Happy Motoring-Blair
I just got a cylinder 7 misfire on my 2012 ram 1500 so I’m hoping this helps but I have a feeling it’s worse.
Need to demo the harder side to show removal of the difficult plugs
It is so hard to get the camera in a good angle. But it is the same process regardless of position. Good luck!
All these videos show is the Passenger side. Knowing the driver's side is more difficult....
I have a 2005 Hemi 5.7 has over 200,000 miles how do you think I'm going to have a problem getting the plugs out I bought it new I know the plugs have never been replaced
Hey there . Did you say 16 mm socket for the plugs? Will a normal plug socket 5/8s work?
I dont recall off memory, But they are a unique size that is for certain! Happy Motoring-Blair
5/8 is correct size.
do the new plugs need to be gapped
Iridium Plugs do not get gapped! What plugs are you going to use!
Most all these videos show doing the easiest one and done and not the rest thats a pain to get to.
For filming purposes, it is easier to share and teach the process; for the rear units, we played with different lengths of extensions to get proper access. Sorry, this was not helpful for you.
Everyone shows the easy ones. .. why doesn’t anyone show an easy way to get the back ones that are a pain in the ass?
The process is the exact same for every single one. I cant get my hands and a camera back there to show you. Have you finished the job!? Happy Motoring -Blair
Agreed!! The passenger rear on my daughter's 09 is a PITA!

@Randy Kubick I was able to get in and get them removed
eplaced. it was not easy but not the most difficult.
How to do a tune up if you don't respect you're engine
Where is the disrespect?!
