    I love this game franchise but I wish the gameplay of the craftsperson professions was a bit deeper than just QTEs. They always felt a little underbaked/just there to supplement the more interesting professions

    The box dragging in behind is a monster u capture, but u have to take it all the way back to sell it.

    I wonder if you can use the passwords from fantasy life 3ds on this same game to get outfits ?

    Thanks so much for this summary! The first Fantasy Life was one of my fav games of all time. I cannot wait to play the new one! Hoping the game comes out with all the bugs and glitches ironed out at release, unlike many games being buggy at release nowadays haha!

    You know, I loved the original SO VERY MUCH I *still* play it just about once a year (or two.) I'd almost prefer a straight remaster/Switch port of the original one, DLC & all, than to get the new one. If it ain't broke, don't try to make it into an Animal Crossing clone, haha.
    But I am VERY excited for this new Fantasy Life game either way.

    I am so excited! I’ve been replaying the first one again the last week. It’s so good! I just hope they stay faithful to the original and what made the original so amazing instead of trying to be another animal crossing.

    I wish they would have kept going with the mobile version instead

      Coldest take I’ve ever read in my entire life. So you want a half baked, riddled with micro transactions, soulless, stale and empty version of the first game that’s plagued with time stalling paywalls; instead of a fully fletched SEQUAL to the original?!!

    • @sabmis2658
      @sabmis2658 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@kxys95 Haha so dramatic. No I take it back. I do want a sequel. The micro transactions was never pay to play. I never payed anything and got so much gear. They kinda broke the game with the summon feature though. Nothing was empty about it, they had not ported the full map or story and I was always hoping for them to finish it. I never finished the 3ds version and now was my time to do it. It was more accessible on the phone and I levelled up my skills so much so I wanted to do it on that save file. But then they just discontinued it and it's not even playable offline. I liked how it became more of an online experience with random people always joining. And the ongoing events where you gathered specific items to level up gear was great and didn't exist on the 3ds. Now the online aspect on 3ds is gone as well. And this sequel looks like more of the same, nothing to make me excited yet. And the story was never interesting to begin with.

      @@sabmis2658 Congratulations you officially have the worst fantasy life opinion of all time! When I found out that Fantasy life got a mobile game I was so pissed because why would they make a shitty mobile game rather than a fully fleshed out sequel on the Nintendo switch? Which at the time was selling extremely well and till this day still is and now not to mention that I despite mobile gaming for lots of reasons, but after all these years we are finally getting the sequel that fantasy life deserves I don't want this series to die continuing it on a mobile game wouldn't do anything for the series or bring in new fans who want to try the game for the first time all they would see is a microtransaction filled predatory cesspool designed to drain as much money from the consumer as possible we all should know this is what MOST mobile games are like nowadays.... So even if FLI fails to meet high expectations its still a sequel to my beloved 3ds game on the switch and that's all I've ever asked for for so long. PS: I know you have this take bc you didn't finish the 3ds ver 💀just play thru the full game AND play the origin island DLC and thank me later. 👍

      @@kxys95 this is why we can never have good things... 🤦‍♂️

    • @sabmis2658

      @@tynamozapokemando2089 But it sounds like you haven't played the mobile version. No micro transactions were needed to play the game. And it was free to play, so why complain over draining money from consumer. And I don't believe at all in your take that it wouldn't bring in any new people. The user base of mobile gaming is the biggest exciting one. People have checked out the game that wouldn't before. I made my brother play it with me and he had no 3ds. You just have preconceptions of mobile games. And in general Nintendo's mobile games are not like that at all! I wanted them to finish the mobile version so I could finish it there and play with my brother. It had better graphics than 3ds so it was kinda like a remake. It also had a new area where you bild houses and shops. Just like what you see in the Switch game now. You should have tried it and you wouldn't be so angry about it, trust me. They just made it more accessible. And probably the new game wouldn't be the same without the mobile game. After the 3ds game they probably needed money to keep going. And there's a lot of money in mobile. At the end of the day it's a business as well!
