GoD it looks so gOOD!!!!! The songs they kept bring me back, and they managed to keep the vibes just exactly right while updating the game to how things are nowadays for the Switch. This looks amazing! I can't wait to play it myself
the game looks very nice! and much more convenient than the original, since you dont have to longingly look at things you can't gather lol. i hope people who were attracted to how it looks kinda like animal crossing aren't turned off by the fact that it's not that
Seriously, WTF had them whinging on about that? Terraforming...character or house customization...or just the "cute" look of the avatar sprites, I wonder? Methinks those types of players need to branch out of their comfort zone and try new gameplay styles more often.
Job choice always felt intentional, I didn't mind it being a little stiff. You have something in mind, pick the right job/equipment for the task, and then head out. That being said, I don't think that hotswapping jobs will really hurt the game in a meaningful way, it's just a different design choice.

Ive been getting really tired of games releasing for full price and not running correctly until they get multiple updates sometimes months later, or very clearly have storylines or mechanics that were cut or minimized dueing development and it shows. Id much rather have a fully fleshed out finished game on release. I love Level 5 and I'm so excited for everything they have coming up. I wish theyd bring Yokai Watch to switch in English but they already seem very hard at work. Maybe after this releases. This looks very true to the older game. The upgrade music and sound effects are super nostalgic. I'm so excited! I hope they know that the only reason we get frustrated is because of how excited we are, wnd that we all still fully support, are grateful for and love them!!

They haven’t said who voices the characters in the demo yet, but it seems like Yuki Kaji is reprising his role as Glenn from FLO. A lot of the characters had voices in Fantasy Life Online, so I think that most of those ones will have the same VAs.
Is it just me or like, everything from the trailer to the livestream to your vid looks kinda blurry? I thought I wasn't watching 1080p at first. Did they only make it with handheld in mind?

Definitely need a field of view slider to get closer to the character but i think its look really great otherwise. Dont know why they need a whole 6 months more of dev time but alright i guess ive waited this long
They expanded the map they had, which was slightly larger than FL1 with separate screens, to a completely open world map that's 8 times the size of FL1's. That alone is a ton of work and we don't have a clear idea what else has been worked on and polished.
I wouldn't count on it given their track record, but they might this time if only because they need the sales very badly. Level5 has had issues with sales lately, so perhaps they might open up to the idea

@@KingGoose Yes. The version FLO used was god awful. It sounded like a beta version of the song- it had NONE of the kazoos, rubber duckies or even the sliding whistle. This wasn't a style choice either, because they kept the silly Job Anthem with the duck sounds.

That happened to my 3ds as well, while playing the same game lol I just bought a replacement battery from Amazon, they're pretty cheap.
