Barrie Mac, always hits while the opponent is unable to defend himself.

There were so many blatantly filthy forwards in the English game. Guys like McDermott and Morley (and Kelvin Skerret et al further back) seemed to be able to build careers on assaults on other players.

How the hell McDermott and Morley stay on the field, I'll never know. McDermott was a white line fever loony!

How can you get yellow carded for holding down for too long, but stay on pitch for a severely high tackle. unbelievable

Why did Morley and McDermott have such long careers. They were both psychotic.

Pete Harry: Rugby League is the ideal game for bringing out & honing to perfection all the talents & skills of the hitherto undiscovered, but lying menacingly dormant in a ‘would-be-psycho’, & then developing such a latent, &/or closet ‘dark arts’ novice into a raging, on-field, fully-fledged & certifiable psychopath!! 😂😂

@@theoraclerules5056 perfect for council house estate lads with fuck-all chance of a job aside from down the pit, mill or on a fishing trawler which have all virtually gone. There's a good reason why there were a lot of Army recruitment offices in Northern towns and cities, so they could get the psycho cannon fodder off the streets.

Tony Franklin: True & that’s probably why the Yorkshire Regiment cleans up all/most of the Army or inter-services trophies 🏆nearly every year!! They usually kick the Aussie units too when they play them at either League or Union!!

When we had a team that could field Morley, McDermott and Terry Newton it was always gonna be fiery! Morley deserved red for that though, no argument

they'd been warned about interference at the PTB, he used his knees to dislodge the ball, yellow card all day long particularly after the earlier warning.

Rule number 1. Morley does a high shot and head butt and you must shit your pants and cop out.

The ref lost it from the moment he missed the shoulder to the head for the second try of Wigan. As Steveo said he knew what he was doing to stop the hooker from getting to the kicker. When you lay a player out and don't even get spoken to you know the referee will let things slide. At that time Leeds Wigan games were always close to boiling over. If the ref had sin binned the player and disallowed the try then he would have shown his intent early on and taken some of the heat out of the game. His inconsistency throughout the game showed he was not up to refereeing at this level.

So Endacott ran off to tell teacher! What a mug. It's a bit of biff. Barrie snots Terry near then end as well and they're best mates! Also Faz deciding not to carry on with Daz Fleary is the best decision he's ever made!
