It’s lovely to hear the risk management at the start, with options to attend a&e or call 911, I haven’t come across many CBT videos that acknowledge that, which I guess a lot of patients looking for these kind of videos need to hear ☺️
Depends on the situations But most of the times I've realized even if they were it doesn't really affect my life or me because all those laughing and people are temporary It's not gonna be an endless suffering you know Let's say a few classmates laugh at you when you're presenting at class because you seem nervous and unprepared There are a lot that happens that the situation changes They are likely to forget about it in a few days or at least never bother thinking about it because it's unimportant comparing to other stuff that goes on in people's lives Secondly they won't always be your classmates and after a while you'll graduate or change schools and they will become people in the past that you'll never even see Thirdly They might mess up too and realize it wasn't that funny Moreover you might have friends who will see how hard you had tried and will praise your efforts And so many other things As soon as you believe it's not the end of the world, it's gonna be so much easier to accept Also remember, people make mistakes whether the mistake is something that made people laugh at you or talk bad about you, or the act of humiliating or making fun of others by laughing at them, they both have underlying issues and it doesn't automatically mean you're bad or they're bad It's easy to move on if you think like this about it
U are wrong about that. reality is what you choose it to be. if you say its going the be shitty it will be whatever people do. if you say its going to be amazing it will be whatever will happen.

THE PROBLEM IS WE KNOW THAT THE THIUGHTS ARE IRRATIONAL BUT DO YOU TURN THEM OFF. I PERSONALLY DONR BELIEVE THEIR MY THOUGHTS
🕊
what if they were talking about you?
Depends on the situations
But most of the times I've realized even if they were it doesn't really affect my life or me because all those laughing and people are temporary
It's not gonna be an endless suffering you know
Let's say a few classmates laugh at you when you're presenting at class because you seem nervous and unprepared
There are a lot that happens that the situation changes
They are likely to forget about it in a few days or at least never bother thinking about it because it's unimportant comparing to other stuff that goes on in people's lives
Secondly they won't always be your classmates and after a while you'll graduate or change schools and they will become people in the past that you'll never even see
Thirdly They might mess up too and realize it wasn't that funny
Moreover you might have friends who will see how hard you had tried and will praise your efforts
And so many other things
As soon as you believe it's not the end of the world, it's gonna be so much easier to accept
Also remember, people make mistakes whether the mistake is something that made people laugh at you or talk bad about you, or the act of humiliating or making fun of others by laughing at them, they both have underlying issues and it doesn't automatically mean you're bad or they're bad
It's easy to move on if you think like this about it
Dont look up CBT
U are wrong about that. reality is what you choose it to be. if you say its going the be shitty it will be whatever people do.
if you say its going to be amazing it will be whatever will happen.
How does that contradict the video? CBT is based on what you just described: your thoughts determine your feelings towards any given situation
