Sometimes it feels like Henry Cavill is the lone voice for the true fans in the entirety of the Hollywood. As an avid tabletop player who owns over 20,000 points of models spread between Death Guard, Tyranids, Drukhari and Space Marines I do NOT want amazon anywhere near 40k. Henry yes, Amazon no. Amazon does produce a good show here and there but for every good one there are 10 bad ones and I don't want a bunch of people that do not understand the setting coming in and trying to modern day it.
This reminds me of the Halo movie cancellation back in the day. They had Peter Jackson set as producer, Neil Blomkamp set to direct and had done a bunch of preproduction, but it ultimately fell apart because of failed contract negotions with the movie studio and Microsoft.

you know as much as i hate ip deviation, it wasn't even that which bothered me about rings of power. it was just that it was BORING. when the season 1 finale was over, I remember thinking what the heck that was the S finale? I was still waiting for the plot to happen. i hope season 2 is better i havent had a chance to watch it.

As an avid tabletop player who owns over 20,000 points of models spread between Death Guard, Tyranids, Drukhari and Space Marines I do NOT want amazon anywhere near 40k. Henry yes, Amazon no. Amazon does produce a good show here and there but for every good one there are 10 bad ones and I don't want a bunch of people that do not understand the setting coming in and trying to modern day it.
This reminds me of the Halo movie cancellation back in the day. They had Peter Jackson set as producer, Neil Blomkamp set to direct and had done a bunch of preproduction, but it ultimately fell apart because of failed contract negotions with the movie studio and Microsoft.
But we've got the awsome series instead!

1. The female custodes was not Amazon's idea, it was an official Game Workshop release in the Codex Adeptus Custodes 10th edition stating that there is a single Custodes who is female.
2. Games Workshop and Amazon have until around late December to iron out any rumored creative differences, so he has not left anything
3. All of this is speculative rumors as nothing about it can be confirmed. It is possible most of the information given about this controversy is just rage bait.

It has already been confirmed. Amazon was behind the custodians lore change in the 10th edition Codex this has been confirmed by several sources, including the financial investors.

The funniest part about it is that they're sitting on a GOLDMINE.
