You can respect what people do if they do good regardless of their other views, just as long as you understand their other views are destructive. Someone can be bad for any society's discourse regardless of any good positions they hold and vice versa.
Joe Biden has been a political hack, corrupt, and a liar for his entire career, a through-and-through establishment sellout: essentially everything wrong with the American corporatocracy often mistake for a government.
However, in his senility, his necromancer aides have been able to convince him to sign unambiguously great legislation which actually helps the 330M people, and not just the typical 5000 corporate psychos. Does the good he has managed to eek out in his final years outweigh the bad he had committed his entire life towards? Silly question tbh, exactly as destiny said "judge them on what?".
We can talk about how Vaush advocates for progressive canvasing and works with Progressive Victory, a political PAC which has managed to put local politicians in real positions of power. Or we can talk about how Vaush keeps his community insular and a complete circle-jerk by shoving out any meaningful discussion and forcing otherwise good people from well thought out positions; preventing people from discussing important topics hurts the most important people in the political landscape: people who want their views challenged, and to challenge other people's views such that they arrive at the most accurate-to-reality positions.
We can talk about the real merits of Alex Jones, and Jordan Peterson, and admit their clear and obvious faults, especially post-2015. It doesn't mean we have to pretend people are great, it just means we don't have to be reductive when analyzing their contributions, good and bad.

I feel like the most hot take he has on Ukraine is that warmongers and neocon advisors, politicians pushing for a policy that taunts/aggravates Russia. I do think he mischaracterizes the U.S. slightly wrong, as in reality America is multiple completely disconnected administrations rather than some focused ‘shadow entity’ trying to destroy Putin, but even Destiny has characterized America in similar ways.
I’m not familiar is the idea that America intervened in Ukraine from signing a peace accord with Moscow just completely made up? He seems to cite some different random sources and I’m not super versed in the exact details so I’m genuinely curious.
I think the “No redeemable qualities” part has to be a complete joke even if he has some slightly conspiratorial leanings; half of Americans think that; many Doctors, PHDs, very smart people have similar fringe takes about big pharma, government ect.

I heard Destiny say something reasonable once, and I didn't know who he was so I started following him a little more closely. It started out decently, but over time, I've started to realize just how little I like him and his takes.

I tune in every now and then to a Podcast or one of his livestreams and he'll be typing away on some document prepping and researching issues and i'll think, he's not too bad.

No, the point is not that he interviewed Putin, the point is that he knowingly tried to help him with his popularity like a spineless coward. It's not unbiased, it's heavily biased towards Putin. Tucker didn't try to challenge him even in the slightest. Every question he asked was supposed to just lead Putin into saying that the west is failing which is helping Tucker's brand. Putin is a ruthless dictator, he always was and it's very well documented. He is killing his political opponents left and right, trying to take control of sovereign nations, censoring information, etc. It's not a conspiracy, he literally doesn't even try to hide it. Everybody knows and he doesn't care because he thinks that nobody can do anything about it. A day after this interview he got rid of his main political opponent. Putin knew that Tucker is going to jack him off for the entire duration of the interview and that's the reason why an interview with Tucker was the only one he agreed to. Ben Shapiro's was not supposed to be personal opinion, it was supposed to be political comentary. Destiny, at the beggining of this video, asks what type of tier list he is supposed to do and they say they want his PERSONAL opinion that means it will inherently be biased.

That is besides my point completly though because presenting as a political commentary, (as Destiny and Ben do) is entirely different from this. The only segment in the entire podcast where they preface by saying they want him to rank based on his own arbitrary systems. Destiny memes the entire way through, mostly meming about the way these people are percieved. For gods sake look at what he says about joe rogan, hes joking.

I like Destiny overall - just a few problems with this.
1. Elon gets ZERO credit for Tesla and SpaceX? I really don't get how some people's opinions of Elon Musk are as if he did nothing until 2022.
2. Biden and Trudeau are too high.
3. Not saying you have to like them, but it's not like Walsh and Knowles were the ones who brought the trans stuff to the table to begin with. Like, they didn't become obsessed with trans stuff until hundreds of other youtubers, politicians, government bodies, teacher's unions, trade unions, corporations, social media moderators, and whoever else did. I don't think you can call the people REACTING to a mass hysteria "obsessed" while giving the people advancing some of the more dubious claims a pass.
