Untill now, i was playing Juri without her Feng Shui engine. The high level of execution required to use it just scared me. But now, i find my pleasure to try new combos with Feng Shui, thanks to you!
The version of feng shui engine we have in SF6 is the best version we could possibly think of if you've played Juri before (especially in SF4). Not only you have free safe jumps setups and the easy mindgames that come with it (i.e safe *empty jump* throw if you baited a perfect parry and keep the pressure with fse after the throw), you can litteraly put the opponent under (mental) pressure and burn their drive gauge. The mixups, double overheads. It's really a tool you have to add to your game.
This is so much to take in. There is a lot of practice that has to go into make this all come together. It's taking me a lot of time to get this in my muscle memory.
I really love the descriptions and break downs the hardest route I have is delaying the on the 2nd route from LK -> FMP into BHK to confirm routes. I kept getting the knock down.
This guide is peak, learned the stuff from the video and ever since i have a deep understanding of FSE, so that i can lab my own stuff and even ingame i just do stuff on the fly wether on what im hitting, just on reaction

This is an AMAZING GUIDE and one of the best I’ve seen broken down upon a character. But man this shit is an intricate COMPLEX memorization brain bomb fuck. How the hell you remember all of these shells in the heat of the moment along with inputs and timing.
I’m mid screen so I don’t need launch combos (my play styles). If I want to drive rush I know that shell. If I want to safe jump, I know the ender. That’s 2 shells, or 2 halves to the combo. I think a lot during the activation what my goals are. “Do they mash? Will they use a reversal? Are they burnt out? Will they super on wake up? Do they have have level 3? How much stocks do I have? How many drive gauges do I have?” I come up with a plan and go for it.

If you are at 2 bars with full resources, and they whiff a dp, don’t use level 2. You can build a level 3. Basically anything above 2 bars with full resources you should hold. I like FSE as a confirm and early match.
Chun-Li has a pseudo version of the double aerial corner pressure as well. I'm almost always catching people with the first down mk followed by regular mk.

When I’m imputing the bread and butter combo I can’t get two hits like you do when input the S.MK like you do in the video I only get one hit because Juri is too far. How do I fix this? to me a noob player but has loved juri and m,ained her since street fighter 5, i feel she still lacks so much damage per hit compared to so many characters in the roster.

Super dope guide. Doesn't +41 also work for safe jumps? They seem to work fine for me. If so, an easy safe jump ender is standing HK into fwd HP. leaves you +41
@@BigNastyKail ahh, you're a genius. I've also noticed that in the corner they can hold fwd and escape at +41 which sucks but most people wont hold fwd in that situation.
I really think Juri is a charachter on her own, you can be as fast as kimberly or strong as Cami but diferent from all other charachters, 2 bars in a good feng user means death.

I use FHP to go into FSE when I think its going to hit. Or I delay a CHP on their wake up to catch delay tech or delay buttons. Theres no PROPER way to go into FSE but there are some things to consider: Going into FSE off of a juggle severely limits your damage after activation. Hit the biggest hits you can, end your combo, setup for your 2nd engagement. As a punish your best damage will come BEFORE the combo so get the most you can before you activate. If you go into fse from a really low damage combo, end your fse combo asap and setup for the next engagement to maximize your 2nd engagements damage.

At 4:28 how do you drive rush? The only input I saw was right stick and no multi press of medium kick and punch. Do you have an extra button for block or something?

Downforward heavy is your chk. But yea. It’s much harder to do the advance stuff, but there still are some techs. F.m, c.m, c.h, s.h xx qcb+h gives you a safe jump.

Sometimes you're too far way for the smk. Depends on the character, depends on if they're standing or crouching. If there is a time you're concerned about this, try and do cmk for consistencies.
@@BigNastyKail Ahh that makes sense. I tried doing a micro walk forward after shell 1 and the double hit came out. Although i probably shouldn't make a habit of it b/c if they mash jab im cooked. The difference in damage isn't that bug and the combo still works so I won't worry about it thanks!
@IchigoKurosaki3119 as a tip if you’re ever pushed out far you should consider cmk. So combos like cmk smp > slk. Usually smk in this case is gonna only give you 1 hit.

its not an underrated mechanic nor is there much to explore. It's good, its worth it to use sometimes 100%, but people ALWAYS say for juri every single game "Feng Sheui is unexplored!" and that's just bullshit at this point. This is 2023. Information travels so fast. People have been playing Juri for the longest of all characters due to the PC Crack. People have been grindin this for a while now. lol The problem with the super 2 is it does not deplete drive gauge effective on HIT and her combos within it are very weak unless the opponent is cornered. Even when cornered, its most optimal to go for mixups after CRHP to her air series and reset for a safe jump high low mix. As you've also stated too, its pretty weak to drive reversal. All you need to do is just wait for any heavy normal on block, and its free. the ultimate problem with being neutral in Feng Engine is that on HIT, you have no major way to cash in for good damage mid screen. What are you going to do? cancel into super 1? Spend ex gauge to DRC? If its not going to kill, it really never bothers me. I'm master Rank juri, been playing her since crack, and super 2 is not as strong as it was early on. Very few Juris are using it.....because no one thinks its worth it. Super 3 is the meta in this game and it's VERY clear now that Super 2 in MOST situations is the worst super to use for MOST characters. Super 2's in this game are just in a bad spot because Level 3 critical is SO STRONG and super 1's are so nice for like round 1 enders to seal the round and still be able to save up for level 3 if needed. Spending level 2 is SOMETIMES useful, but its just not as strong as level 3 at all.
This video was absolutely fantastic. I just got to master with juri but never used Feng before, and want to get to that next level and keep improving. Quick question, after jumping MP. HP, HK I’m having consistency issues getting the dive kick to come out, is it a timing thing? I’ve only messed with it for 20 mins or so in the lab so it’s probably on me Again. Great video. Your content is top notch.
It depends on the route you take going into the mp hp hk. I’ve been thinking of doing a video on the “theory” behind fse. You’re probably not high enough, and the launch you’re doing isn’t popping up high enough.

I've been using Juri since SFIV. I've been in love with FSE since the day I figured out it exist. FSE in SF6 is a damn cheat code if used properly.

Loses to 5 frame reversals like lk flash kick, or some light dps. So yes, but it comes with a notice.

Delay your smk as much as possible. So smp slk fmp (delay) smk bhk.
I use this route when I can tho. Cmk smp > cmp bhk. Usually automatic timing.

you can now press mp+mk to drive rush. Make sure you don't hold a direction when you do this.

Depends on the combo route. If you juggle too much you can’t use regular DP

I'm master Rank juri, been playing her since crack, and super 2 is not as strong as it was early on. Very few Juris are using it.....because no one thinks its worth it.
Super 3 is the meta in this game and it's VERY clear now that Super 2 in MOST situations is the worst super to use for MOST characters.
Super 2's in this game are just in a bad spot because Level 3 critical is SO STRONG and super 1's are so nice for like round 1 enders to seal the round and still be able to save up for level 3 if needed. Spending level 2 is SOMETIMES useful, but its just not as strong as level 3 at all.

This video was absolutely fantastic. I just got to master with juri but never used Feng before, and want to get to that next level and keep improving. Quick question, after jumping MP. HP, HK I’m having consistency issues getting the dive kick to come out, is it a timing thing? I’ve only messed with it for 20 mins or so in the lab so it’s probably on me

It depends on the route you take going into the mp hp hk. I’ve been thinking of doing a video on the “theory” behind fse. You’re probably not high enough, and the launch you’re doing isn’t popping up high enough.
@@BigNastyKail appreciate the reply. After messing around a little more it was just a rhythm thing for me. I was inputting it all too fast, slowed it down and now I get it everytime.
