@@labella9291 I have not had the lemon version yet, but the lime tastes great. I used the same ratio of rind as in the recipe. My limes are fairly large, so it worked out fine. I'm actually thinking of adding some coconut next time.

I recently made your cookies only reduced the sugar content and they came out delicious, my wife raved about them and actually had me make a big bunch of the so that she can give them as Christmas gifts. If you go to the bottom right corner of the screen and click on it you will see some icons. Look at the gear shape and click on it. There you will see 'playback speed' you click on that and you can change the speed to very slow to very fast. I use this a lot if some speaks quite fast. Good luck

I usually am very suspicious of recipes but I read the comments and decided to give it a go and OH WAS I RIGHT TO DO SO. The lemon flavor is so rich. They were perfectly sweet and tangy and just amazing!!! After i baked them i drizzled on them some lemon juice mixed with powdered sugar and some sprinkles and everyone in my family loveddd themmmm

Lemon cookies 180g All purpose flour 1/2 tsp baking powder Pinch of salt Mox dry ingredients 113g softened butter 200g sugar Cream together Add 1 egg 1 lemon zest 1 lemon juice Few drops of lemon colour (optional) Beat together Add dry ingredients half at a time, beat together Chill for an hour Shape into 11 balls, coat with powdered sugar Bake at 177c for 14 mins
I just made the batter. I’m chilling the batter now. In an hour I’ll put them in the oven. 0:10 I chose not to put food coloring in them. They taste great and pillow of lemon cookie goodness 😊 This is my new go to cookie. So Easy So Delicious!!!!

I made this and then halved the dough and put 1/4 tsp raspberry extract with raspberry pieces. Both came out good. I never worked with a dough so sticky but they came out great. Such an interesting texture. Never had a cookie like it before.

I'm ready to make it again. Cut down the sugar and I think I'll add some almonds make them smaller balls and rye oll them with powdered sugar at the end. So they'll look like butter balls.
Ive made them today and theyre wonderful. Flaky crust and chewy insides. For diabetics like myself one tip : increase the flour or reduce the sugar for a less sweet alternative. You can also do half sugar with sugar substitute.

Just followed your recipe just now. They're in the oven. Excited! I will say that when I had to roll them they were a little more sticky so I added just a tiny bit more flour to stop that, then sugar dunked. I'll let you know how they turn out! I had the same problem. If you're using scales as opposed to cup measures, the flour would be 200g. I had to do the same as you. Baking as I write this so haven't tried one yet.

Have made these twice now and taken them to work and peeps seem to like them. Both times I added about 1 cup of dried cherries to half of the dough and i made a quick icing to top them with. Def recommend these cookies if your thinking of baking something, pretty quick, easy, and delicious.

i never write comments but i had a hard time finding one that actually described the taste so here i am i decreased the sugar a little bit because whenever i bake i find that following the sugar exactly is always too sweet for me so i just used 3/4 cup and we didnt have a zester so i peeled a bit of the yellow part and chopped it finely. The taste is exactly how I want it and my family ATE THEM ALL UP. It wasnt too sweet and the lemon wasnt too strong (sometimes I experience a too strong aftertaste when making lemon recipes) I didnt have food coloring as well so it did come out a pale and the powdered sugar didnt survive the oven haha but you can still taste it afterwards without needing to add another layer after they come out of the oven. They didnt spread too much so I pressed them a little to give them a flatter look. They were soft to eat AND ABSOLUTELY YUMMY i am obsessed with anything lemon so thank you so much for this recipe!! am thinking of making another batch this weekend

It’s technically not your butter. it belonged to the baby cow that had its head smashed in so you could buy it’s mother’s milk. Use vegan butter instead, stop the animal abuse.

I followed this recipe but added a twist, i popped a cap full of limoncello in the cookie mix with a little extra flour to still have that doughy consistency, and for the drizzle i used powered sugar and limoncello and jeeeez never been proud of anything ive baked and these are the perfect treat to make out of things you have lying around the house during quarantine 😩🧡

I follow this recipe and have baked lemon cookies for 3 times already. Omg it’s so good. The recipe is very simple and easy to follow. One a personal side, I reduce the sugar to 100gr and use Lemon bordier butter to bake. It’s just so good that I can’t stop eating. Thank you for your amazing sharing!

Just followed your recipe just now. They're in the oven. Excited! I will say that when I had to roll them they were a little more sticky so I added just a tiny bit more flour to stop that, then sugar dunked. I'll let you know how they turn out! (Also my first time baking!)

I had the same problem. If you're using scales as opposed to cup measures, the flour would be 200g. I had to do the same as you. Baking as I write this so haven't tried one yet.

Same here! An added touch is lemon icing. Juice a lemon or two and mix with powder sugar. Omg lemon overload!

Have made these twice now and taken them to work and peeps seem to like them. Both times I added about 1 cup of dried cherries to half of the dough and i made a quick icing to top them with. Def recommend these cookies if your thinking of baking something, pretty quick, easy, and delicious.

Those are great! Adding a teaspoon cornstarch will make them crispier from the outside, but it's totally optional:)

Hi Dave I just wanted to let you know I did make the lemon cookies and they came out delicious. Even my nephew who doesn't like sweets loved them. Thank you so very much.
i never write comments but i had a hard time finding one that actually described the taste so here i am
i decreased the sugar a little bit because whenever i bake i find that following the sugar exactly is always too sweet for me so i just used 3/4 cup and we didnt have a zester so i peeled a bit of the yellow part and chopped it finely. The taste is exactly how I want it and my family ATE THEM ALL UP. It wasnt too sweet and the lemon wasnt too strong (sometimes I experience a too strong aftertaste when making lemon recipes) I didnt have food coloring as well so it did come out a pale and the powdered sugar didnt survive the oven haha but you can still taste it afterwards without needing to add another layer after they come out of the oven. They didnt spread too much so I pressed them a little to give them a flatter look. They were soft to eat AND ABSOLUTELY YUMMY

It’s technically not your butter. it belonged to the baby cow that had its head smashed in so you could buy it’s mother’s milk. Use vegan butter instead, stop the animal abuse.

I followed this recipe but added a twist, i popped a cap full of limoncello in the cookie mix with a little extra flour to still have that doughy consistency, and for the drizzle i used powered sugar and limoncello and jeeeez never been proud of anything ive baked and these are the perfect treat to make out of things you have lying around the house during quarantine 😩🧡
