4 mistakes in this video: I pronounced A Boogie WITH the hoodie, Kaytranada, and MadeinTYO's name wrong (sorry I don't really listen to them, this was my first time really researching and learning about these aritsts). in the case of Kaytranada i just didnt see the "a" i feel so dumb.. oh and I used the wrong logo when talking about YG's label.
sheesh I apologize 😭 feel like i always make one of these comments lol but I love how closely yall pay attention to the videos though, it never fails to amaze me 😂
It’s also “A boogie wit da Hoodie” not “Ay Boogie in the Hoodie” lmfao
@@orcagang wtf says his full name anyways man 😂
You also mentioned Chance The Rapper while showing Vic Mensa
A Boogie in the Hoodie lmao. You literally had pictures of his actual name in there
@@orcagang Bro gotta be using ChatGPT lite to write these scripts, how he mess up A Boogie's name like that lmao
Amine is underrated, his album limbo was pretty good.
Two point five is an essential pop rap album
@@amarorogelcruz2163 agreed that’s a great listen too
The album he did with Kaytranada was a good listen too.
He has a solid fan base too

Amine is superrr underrated, bros like the Denzel of the 2017 class
Fax bro
💯 Amine did some tracks w Injury Reserve that I still bump. N Denzel is finally acknowledged by everybody as bein almost MasterMC but the hip hop world just says that in passing but never mention his drops or says anything else about him. If ya got love for the man, talk about him! Let bro get his!
I wouldn't say that but he's carved out a nice lane for himself with the more eclectic names in hip hop
That’s a big fact
aminé is extremely talented and underrated now tho
I still listen to him his 2021 project is a classic for me
Ok but if they're under rated afterbeing on freshman then they fell off in views, which means they failed freshman which is what this video is about.
u dorks love to call anything a fall off 😂😂
I wouldnt call him extremely talented but he's a respectable rapper who can hold his own and has grown over time
@@Awesomesauce14543its a classic. Its shall never go extinct
Amine and Kyle don’t deserve this 😭
Yes they do
They have fallen off tragically
@@REDDVL2008 kyle is the corniest rapper ive ever heard in my life
@@MxlclmXmore than logic 😭
Kyle kinda deserved this after I Spy.. he was too new to drop something like that. Totally turned people off him because that wasn't his sound, it was just that song. And the song wasn't good.
Kyle does. Not amine
This man said "A Boogie in the Hoodie." I'm weak.
It's A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie.
😂
😂😂😂
It’s giving I don’t do the research for my videos, nothing wrong with having a team but at least be familiar with the source material 😵💫
@shanel4294 when is "its giving" gonna go away. Genuine question.
Who gives a fuck if he got his name wrong he's still an asshole

@@louaistanot giving a sample of a song that came out almost 10years ago is CRAZY work
I literally had to go back, because I thought I didn’t see right 😭.
Dude kpop labels have massively successful artists outside of kpop. HYBE has artists from country to hip-hop. If anything that's where you want to go if you get a good deal. They are really good at introducing artists to global audiences.
@@o0oGhsto0o good advice bruh ill look into this
Made in “Tyo” come on bro 😂
Right?! This "Lunesta" guy is hilarious.
Hip hop journalists stay messing up artists names 😂🤦🏼♀️

Nah stop the cap. Kyle is terrible
what's your fav have heart track off their last album
you're probably going to get a lot of comments pointing this out, but you used the k-pop YG entertainment label to represent the rapper YG - two entirely different entities
good catch
Never heard anyone actually say TYO instead of Tokyo.
He pronounced it wrong
“Taiyo” he said 😂 immediately after saying he came from Tokyo. Bro couldn’t put those pieces together I guess lol
like dang did he fall off that bad! I still listen to him so I gasped lol

Video full of inaccuracies but mispronouncing KAYTRANADA was fhe final straw for me 😂
the kaytranada mispronouncing made me physically cringe like can bro not read????
I was checking the comments to see if anyone else caught that
Saying carti failed is crazy lol ngl no matter how u spin it or if u don't like carti gotta admit his career is still going even when he doesn't release he found that spot of dedicated fans
As said in the video i don't think he failed obviously and i gave him credit for staying big but in some ways it is when you consider how much he lies, disrespects and upsets his fanbase. sure, hes still huge, but at what cost? fans dont even really get new music. last time he dropped was 2020 bruh. also, theres alot more stuff that he did aside from music too that makes it hard for me to like carti as a person but thats just me
Who tf he think he is not to drop for four years? 😂
@@louaistame and my friends have literally said the same about carti. his music is fire, but he is a terrible person. hard to be a real fan beyond the music.

Amine is so fire. He also dropped “TWOPOINTFIVE” in 2021 that you didn’t mention and it’s a great album.
Honestly I’m 100 percent fine with how amines career went real ones know his discog is great he’s improved in my eyes he never sold himself short of how he wanted to show people he’s for real
i’ve seen amine 2 times in concert. man is amazing live. such a good energy. hes very underrated. he’s one of my favorites artists and he doesn’t seem like he wants to “blow up” again or be popular. he’s happy where he is and that’s what makes it special.
He got that Denzel curry fame. Not so famous that he gotta worry about paparazzi but not so unknown that he’d have to worry about money. It’s like the underground veteran status
Exactly
A Boogie IN DA Hoodie and Made In TYE-O? Did you get Chat GPT to write this script for you?
yea yo what's going on with this one........
He probably has a team, got the script and just read it. No way you can do this much research on these artists and not hear their name pronounced once
I had to unfollow weeks ago the mistakes are insane almost every vid. Dude is not tapped in just wants the money
@@MauriAllure yeah I was gonna say, Lou-AI-sta sounds like he doesn’t even listen to rap and regurgitates all his “research” off Reddit
It takes two seconds to watch an interview on any rapper to see how they pronounces their own name
But bro makes a whole highly edited graphic that literally says “A Boogie In The Hoodie” @0:47 (when seven seconds earlier @0:40 he zoomed in on his name in an article). That clearly took effort to make, or maybe it’s all AI who knows

Yea im starting to think he's a vulture. Profiting off the culture while not knowing shit about it or actually listening to any of the music. Unsubscribed. @@MauriAllure
AI had to have written this video😂
Brother, Amine definitely has NOT fallen off 💀 dude is doing the best numbers out of everybody on here besides Carti I’d say
A Boogie is a confusing case. He doesn't have a new hit nowadays and isn't talked about as much but in NY he's still massive to the point where he's selling out shows and is played all over the radio.
Core fanbase will take care of you
He was an autocrooner (can't rap that well, can't sing that well, but combines the 2 together over a ton of autotune). That was always going to have a limited shelf life and thankfully, that wave is over
@@duhduhduhdiesel1436 Yeah but what's the current wave? Opium/rage? Say what you will about the SoundCloud melodic trap wave but that blended autotune and bars seamlessly. This new wave is all about the production instead of the vocals. I still find enjoyment in it but it seems to be getting worse as time goes on.
@@SonicSwift99 What 'bars' did someone like Roddy Rich, A Boogie, etc. have? Like where?
Idk what I'd call the current wave - probably rage but it hasn't really taken over the mainstream
@@duhduhduhdiesel1436 A Boogie still goin strong tho rn, and his art is thriving. He released a new album called Better Off Alone, that sounds a lot more focused than any of his records he put out, since Artist 2.0 (2020). People just think popularity is what represents the quality but nah, even without the “shelf life,” Boogie still going strong.
Aminè is fire, I still listen to bro and I just love the art he puts out, it’s actually worth listening to and not just some BS
I believe if X was here today he’d be bigger than most artist in music period!
Facts, x was a generational talent
Cap man if that was the case he’d be bigger dead than he is, i never heard his music till after the trial & it aint special
He would've been huge but he had too many personal issues to be bigger than everyone of his time if you go by traditional metrics. He wouldn't even need all that strong label backing or even sign a major label deal though, he spoke to a ton of fans and people without their machinations, and it would've been lame to sign his career away for some bread up front which even then is a loan in the first place.
You don't need to be the biggest with the most radio play, TH-cam views, or DSP numbers, you just have to operate in your lane on your terms, sell out shows, and cultivate a rabid following than being the biggest. Not everyone wants or needs to be Drake if they're a real artist anyway.
He would probably just be beating up more women. His music only appealed to angsty teens.
21:10 “Kaytranda” is wild lol
someone tell this kid how to pronounce "kaytranada" asap
21:10
🤦🏽♂️
Amine is always in my library, and his OnePointFive album solidified his replay value for me: still makes great ass tracks to this day.
SuperDuperKyle may have changed once he made mainstream popularity with iSpy, but his recent album Smyle Again has some deep tracks that made me revisit his discography.
The whole 30+ should stop rapping is laughable.
Particularly when all the best rappers on the planet are in their 30s 40s and 50s rn.
Drake killed off X to consolidate his position
Amine definitely hasn't fallen off... At all? Lol he dropped one of his best albums with kaytranda last year its got a crazy amount of bangers
I’m not a crazy X fan like that i really think he’d be headlining festivals right now. I still think about the day he died his lifeless body was all over Twitter shit was fucked
Good vid. I remember thinking Aminè would be a one hit wonder when Caroline dropped back in 2016 but he's stayed consistent and carved out a solid career for himself. Every project he's dropped since I've enjoyed.
Protect Lil B at all costs. For someone so nice and humble B deserves nothing but respect.
