Sreejith IPS do not believe that you need to be super smart or super intelligent to become an IPS Officer. He is an example of how hard work beats intelligence. A native of Eranjipalam, Kozhikode, Sreejith is a 1996 batch IPS Officer currently serving as the IGP-Crimes (South Zone). He also carries the position as State Nodal officer of Anti Human Trafficking Unit and member of many projects like Nirbhaya, High Court Juvenile Justice Committee etc.

അന്ന് ഇന്നുള്ള അത്ര കോംപിറ്റേഷൻ ഇല്ല. 100 ആളിൽ ആകെ പഠിക്കാൻ പോകുന്നത് 3, 4 പേര് മാത്രം. പക്ഷെ ഇന്ന് എല്ലാരും നല്ലണം പഠിക്കുന്നവരാണ്. അത് കൊണ്ട് എന്തെങ്കിലും കിട്ടണം എങ്കിൽ പടച്ചവൻ തന്നെ വിചാരിക്കണം.

me too had gone through the same childhood days as Sreejith sir had.... I was average in Studies in my sslc and plus two... But an excellent sportsman.. I spent my maximum hours in playing games and outdoor activities.... Inculcated good habits from the surroundings and had a good friend circle.... During 1999 I was fully inspired by the Kargil War and those patriotic feelings inspired me to join indian army... And I decided to wear that Olive green uniform.... Applied for SSB and I cleared it in the very first attempt... Today am going through the golden years of my life... Army is not a Profession... It's the way of life for those who love the tricolour...Jaihind...

മൂകാംബിക 2019 ൽ സന്ദര്ശിച്ചപ്പോൾ ഇദ്ദേഹം മണിക്കൂറുകളോളം അവിടെ പ്രാർഥിച്ച് നില്പുണ്ടായിരുന്നു .അടുത്ത് പോയ് സർ ശ്രീജിത്ത് ips അല്ലെ എന്ന് ചോദിച്ചു .പത്രക്കാരോ മീഡിയക്കാരോ ആണോ എന്ന മട്ടിൽ എന്നെ കണ്ടിട്ട് തോന്നിയിട്ട് ആണോ എന്നറിയില്ല ,ആദ്യം ഒരു ശരിക്കുള്ള പോലീസ് ക്കാരൻ ചോദിക്കുന്ന പോലെ എന്നെ എങ്ങനെ അറിയാം ,താങ്കളുടെ വീട് എവിടെയാ എന്നൊക്കെ ചോദിച്ചു.ഞാൻ വിരണ്ടു എന്ന് കണ്ടപ്പോൾ സൗമ്യൻ ആയി ,പിന്നെ ചിരിച്ചു സംസാരിച്ചു .

Very valuable and interesting information emanating from Mr. Srijith IPS ,
who became an IPS because of hard work. One thing is sure , One should
read a lot and put in hard work by practicing and reading around 8 to 10
hours a day for a specific period before appearing for civil services exam.
I know one of my friend's wife who is preparing for this year's civil services
examination , who undergoes coaching under ALS coaching institute and
put her hard work for this many hours.
