Can share why you need to redo? Is it not approved when you sent the photo?

Bro, you mentioned that you have added your vehicle details before activation, may i know how and where to add the vehicle details ? When I tried to add a vehicle in the profile under 'My Vehicle" section, it only asks for Malaysia NRIC, so I can't add my car details at all. Thanks 🙏
You are referring to the TnG app? Is it possible you have not verified your account yet?

Hi! Can I check with you that you pasted the VEP Tag on the windscreen passenger side and it was approved? I did the same, however, it was rejected. In the rejected email, they mentioned the wrong location and it should be pasted on the passenger headlamp. so funny and now I have to pay another time for my new VEP tag.
Yes, it was pasted on my windscreen because it was installed by TCSens themselves. For those who collect the tag via mail and install it themselves, the only choice is to paste it on headlamp.

Vep tag no for step2, is not the same serial number starting with H?
Boss can i check if your RFID tag number differs for both the VEP Tag on the card(8 characters) and Touch and Go Tag in the e-wallet (24 characters)? Thank you.

I'm surprised that yours got approved with the tag pasted on the windscreen as many were rejected through this option instead of pasting on the headlight. I bought the tag holder for the windscreen but also don't want to risk it. Should I stick it on the headlight then?
Mine at passenger side headlights, 5cm from any metal border. No issues
Anyone successfully paste the VEP onto cling sticker (road tax material) then paste it on the headlight for photo and later shift up to the windscreen?

Yes it has to be passenger side headlight. I installed on windshield and got an email saying rejected. Had to redo
VEP deadline: Singapore drivers can enter Malaysia without a tag from Oct 1 but will get warning !! warning for things that are not our fault, it’s not right.” i renew since March, till today cannot get due to e-wallet not active but i activated !!
No tag is not the same as no VEP.
I am trying to activate manually by keying into the t&g wallet but one of the country part is only Malaysia cannot find singapore

Hi bro, you receive the vep thru mailbox or head down to do at malaysia? From what i know those who receive via mail box to have it stick on headlamp and its not the blue colour. Could you advice us on this too! Thanks
I collected mine at JPJ Taman Daya.
Yeah, for those collecting via mailbox, they do advise sticking on headlamp. I believe the reason is to ensure maximum readability of your tag. They cannot test your windscreen to check whether the tag can be read, so they ask you to paste on headlamp.
I see thanks for the clarification. After long wait just receive it today!😂 btw, tried to link the rfid to the tng wallet. There is a part where its the vehicle details :registration country : malaysia. * small note at the bottom saying “only malaysia registered vehicle”. Could you advice on this too! Thanks 🙏🏻
Is the VEP tag the same as the RFID? I only received the translucent stripe with the blue card that held it within.
Yes it's one and the same.
hi, thanks for your video! really helpful, but the vep web video only mentioned pasting on center of headlamp but i see your video is pasted on windscreen. (which is what i preferred too), can i check if windscreen is still allowed or have to be at center of headlamp? if windscreen is allowed, how is the exact placement be?
If ownself pasting, them must be on headlamp.
If want to paste on windscreen, then must head over to the collection centre and get the staff to do it for you. They will first need to test your windscreen to see if the tag can be read.
Same day within 15 minutes activated
I went down to JP to have my tag installed last week, they gave the same instructions to wait 24hrs and login to the portal to activate the tag. But I have checked the portal everyday since then, my vep status remained as "Pending for tag processing". I have no idea how to proceed.
Have you gone through all the steps, e.g., uploaded a photo of your vehicle with license plate and VEP tag on it?
I can't do that. The portal doesn't show the acknowledgement button for me to do these steps.

Trying to activate RFID to TnG ewallet. while keying in details.. Country "Malaysia" is only option , no ""Singapore""? Is it ok to just select ""Malaysia"?

I got an "Invalid tag number" error. Anyway, I activated the VEP Tag on VEPAMS website and see whether the link will happen automatically.
@TohTeckKim yeah. It will activate automatically when ur uploaded photos are approved. Almost instantaneous
Hi, I have received my VEP, must I add my vehicle details before activation? Also, for the country, they only allow Malaysia as the country. Is this ok?
Yes, need to add, because without vehicle details, the authorities cannot do the verification at their end. And if you're based in Malaysia or spend most of your time there, then it makes sense to choose Malaysia as the country, so should be fine.

Hi Bro, regarding the TnGo App，do i need to do the account verification? It asks for passport details instead of NRIC 🤔, but i was told to use only our NRIC to register the TnGO.
Yeah need to verify. Best to use NRIC, as NRIC won't change for our lifetime. Whereas passport number will change whenever we get a new passport.
@@go_holidayHow do I verify my touch and go account using my NRIC? There is only an option for me to verify using passport for foreigner.

Hi, if the VEP is link to the TnGo apps, then how will I drive my brother's car to JB ? The TnGO apps need facial recognition in order to enter the apps. If I can't access the TnGo apps while driving his car, how will I know if the TnGo wallet have enough money. This is damn confusing.
Maybe borrow his phone? 😂
Or ask your brother to allow you to log into his TnG account on your phone

I am stuck with the activation, as my Tag number only have 6 number.. They keep asking the the 24 digit serial number... what should I do
Try to check your Touch 'n Go app. The 24-digit Tag ID may already be in your profile there.

How do i link my touch n go app to the VEP ?
Can follow these steps:
1. In your Touch 'n Go app, tap on RFID icon, then tap 'Activate RFID Tag'.
2. Enter your personal and vehicle details.
3. Scan the VEP-RFID Tag or key in your tag number.
I’ve yet to hear or see any Vep successfully installed tested successfully going through smoothly.
